I received excellent care during my recent visit on Saturday Morning. I found out there were a few major things going on with my car that needed to be repaired since it has 146,000 miles. Matt Harmon had me back in the shop on Tuesday Morning to replace my tie rods (inner and outer) Now my steering feels like a brand new car. This dealership made the impossible happen

After having multiple surgeries for cancer, and not being able to pay up what insurance did not cover my credit began to sink. A year ago my car was totaled when I was rear ended at a stop sign and unfortunately, I was never offered GAP insurance at my previous creditor. So when my car was totaled, the insurance only paid what the car was worth and I was upside down with a car I could no longer drive. I tried to work with my creditor to have them tack what I owed onto another used vehicle, I didn’t think it would be a problem because I had 100% pay history. They refused and told me I had to continue paying $350 a month for a car I couldn’t even drive or it would be repossessed, which it was. After having the medical debt and the repossession on my credit, I never dreamed I would be able to replace the vehicle without filing bankruptcy at 27. When the vehicle I was borrowing from my parents died, it was a rush of panic. I applied for a pre-approval through first team Nissan expecting it to just be a hit against my credit and not benefit me at all. The dealership worked with me, and not only got me in a vehicle, but a brand new vehicle with reasonable payments and gap insurance. When the first lender bumped my APR, they found me one who would stay within my original agreed upon budget. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Thank you so much!

Found what I wanted. Ordered specific color and side steps. Teresa kept me advised of delivery and installation of steps. She is knowledgeable and was nice to have a woman go over the operation and using everything I was not familiar with. This is vehicle 5 from first team.

We drove 2 hours just to deal with them

We were looking for a first car for our daughter who was turning 16. We wanted the most inexpensive car being sold right now which is the Nissan Versa. We researched long and hard for dealers in the VA/NC/SC area. Many dealers in North Carolina only wanted to sell the 2016's that they still had in stock. In Virginia, many of the dealers played the old tired games of trying to show prices that didn't really exist. They take off the $865 delivery charge to show a low price but by the time you add that back in plus the admin. fees, the price grows $2,000 which on a car of this price is a huge increase. But then we found First Team in Roanoke. We contacted them online and we received an email on a Sunday when they are officially closed. We went back and forth with Mel Dobbs during the week arranging the deal. We drove up Saturday morning, a lovely two hour trip through the foothills of Virginia. Unfortunately my wife had come down with a cold but Mel promised that he would make the process as fast as possible. We were in and out with our new car in much less than an hour, No needless time wasting which was much appreciated. The only regret that we have is that they are a little too far away to get our services done but we will definitely drive back up to buy our next car. Buying a car is the second largest purchase that most people make. Why not make it as pleasant as possible and deal with people like Mel? Even if they aren't your local dealer, make a day trip out of it. You won't regret the decision.

I needed to have my oil change and just basic work done, With my request i needed it done on my lunch break so roughly within and hour. They were able to get it done right around an hour so i was a happy camper. Definitely recommend to friends and families.

Purchase of new 2017 Rogue

The Hodge family has purchased cars from First Team since 1991 and the experiences have always been exceptional. This one was that and more. We traded a car that had been damaged in an accident for a new 2017 Nissan Rogue. Everyone, the body shop, David Dillon, Mike Farrelly, Karen Wiseman, and Teresa Hiner treated us like family. After the accident, one of our first calls was to the First Team body shop because we wanted them to repair the damaged car. They were outstanding help and gave us information on nearby towing companies. They even offered to help with transportation. To decide whether to repair our car, trade now, or trade after the repair, we asked First Team to give us information on a few cars that we liked very much. This is where exceptional people became truly stellar friends and family. David, Teresa, and Karen helped us work through decisions by providing repair vs trade-in alternatives. Karen and Teresa worked with my wife, explaining the features of each car that we were interested in. When we reached a decision to purchase a new 2017 Nissan Rogue for my wife, I checked car values and repair estimates on-line and was most impressed with the deal First Team gave us. We love the new Rogue and appreciate the tremendous assistance that we were given. We made this review a little longer in an effort to express our gratitude to First Team and great people.
