Horrible Service

My check engine light came on and the transmission was acting up. I had already had my car and the service department twice to fix the transmission. I was told the transmission have been rebuilt only to find out when I brought it in the third time that it had not been rebuilt. I got my car back a week later and the problem still is not fixed. I'm still losing about four miles to the gallon and the car is still running the same as it did before I dropped it off. I have still not had a call as to when they're going to schedule the repair to my Fender or they backed into my car I would not recommend this dealership at all. Also I left the dealership with the check engine light still on only to be told that was a catalytic converter causing the light to be on. Nobody had even bothered to call me to let me know but I had another issue that needed to be taken care of.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Rip off

First off I am disabled with bad health I need my truck to go back and forth to seven different doctors. 7 months ago all of a sudden the transmission wouldn't go past 3rd gear. My dad which I love so much found somebody that rebuild it. But afterwards the truck still ran the same the transmission wouldn't go past 3rd gear. So after about 3 or 4 months he got someone to tow it to the Ford dealer in Clermont to get them to put it on the computer and see what was wrong what need to be fixed. I really got my hopes up did I could get out and do something and take myself to the doctors instead of my dad having to take me everywhere. I have been cooped up a my little apartment for 7 months. I was just told today that my dad received a call from Ford of Clermont Florida. They told him that the transmission needs to be replaced even though it was already rebuilt only three months ago. My dad asked them can't they scan the sensors in the transmission.? They told him no they won't do that. They didn't act very nice, when we went there nobody smiles. They didn't want to help someone in dire need that is in bad health and disability. All they wanted to do wants to try and sell my dad a $5,000 new transmission or try to upsell him with a new vehicle. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership or mechanic shop ever in my whole life. The people that did this and said this should be ashamed. If I was to hit the lottery for millions of dollars I would never go to the dealership to buy anyting. I will boycott their dealership and mechanic shop as long as my health will allow me to live because of them I am in a even deeper depression now. Please whoever All of You Are do not take your vehicles to be worked on by the mechanics at the Ford dealership of Clermont Florida. All they want to do is make big money. They don't care about the little people.

Inexcusable

Having had serious issues in both the service and sales departments, I left a bad review on social media. The dealership just called me to tell me they won't fix my Ford Fusion, that I bought there, because I left a bad review and I need to come pick up my non-running vehicle. Having bought my last 3 cars there one would think they would try to help rather than punish their previously loyal customer.

Never again

This dealership gives ford a bad name I own a Ford so when I have an issue my scanner isn't picking up I set an appointment at Ford of Clermont for a Dio well they told me over the phone my appointment was at 9 am on Monday I get there and they never scheduled me in then told me me truck wasn't worth it that they didn't want to get involved after I told them it had over 200,000 miles on it and I wanted to do the work my self the service guys got an attitude with me and was rude as can be I will never go to this dealership again I would rather go out of state then to go to ford of Clermont on a positive note I found someone with the ford program and it cost me less than the 90$ ford wanted to charge me and I fixed my 02 expedition let's see if I can get 300,000 out of her

A very pleasant experience !!

Saw a car on the website and called before driving up from Clearwater. Talked to Ken who confirmed the car was still on the lot. A few moments later he called back to be sure I knew that there were a few dealer add-ons that didn't appear on the window sticker. He didn't want me to be surprised after driving all the way up. Without any pressure - and no commitment from me that I would even be driving up - we continued to talk about my trade-in, extended warranties and pricing. I soon had numbers for the car, warranty, add-ons and trade-in. Before I left the house I knew I'd be driving home in a new Explorer. Ken made car buying, an experience I dread, a very pleasant one. Nice job, Ken !!

Worst dealership imaginable!!!

Absolutely the worst possible dealer anyone could ever deal with!!!! I recently tried to buy a new truck here but after almost reaching a deal the dealer simply told me they were"done", even retracted their offer. The salesman, Willie, even made a comment about "not being cut from the same cloth"!! I mean what the.... does that even mean? I was hoping to keep my business local but at all costs stay away from them. Greenway Ford had a better truck with a better deal, Clermont Ford only wants to rip you off, not build a lasting customer relationship.

Made the car buying easy!

I typically dread going into a dealership but Johnny Mac was super friendly and welcoming. He showed us the vehicle we were interested in, explained many of the features and then we took a test drive and loved the 2015 Ford Escape SE. When we got back to the dealership, he took time to answer questions about my trade-in and differences between that and our new car. He gave us a fair price and we signed the papers. I definitely would work with Johnny Mac again. I will mention De'al in Service because we needed guidance on repairs to the old car and he explained all that was wrong, and then pointed me to Johnny Mac. Both guys were great to work with.

Great staff and very helpful in finding exactly the car I was looking for. Kenny kept in contact with me for months while I was researching and trying to find the right truck. When I visited the dealership the process was relatively easy and I found the truck I wanted at the right price. Not to mention Kenny was able to support me after the sale and made sure the truck was running and looking like a new truck by the time I left! I felt like they still cared about my business even after I left with the truck.

Awful Customer Service

Don't get your vehicle serviced here!!! Even if I broke down right in front of the place I would get it towed somewhere else. Had an early morning appointment so I dropped my vehicle off the night before. Called the next night and they "didn't have time to get to it" so they'd need to keep it an extra day. It was finally ready to be picked up a full 48 hours after drop off. Issue was not fixed so again, scheduled an early morning appointment and dropped it off the night before. SAME STORY. I called that night and they "didn't have time to get to it" again so they'd need another day. A full 48 hours later and it was still not looked at so I picked it up to be serviced somewhere else. I'm sorry but last time I checked, an appointment is an allotted time set aside for something specific. What were they doing during this time?! So sad that it happened not once but twice. We are not rich folks who have spare vehicles laying around and are severely inconvenienced by their lack of time management skills. Very, very surprised they are even still in business if this is the way they treat customers.

This dealership goes above and beyond! My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the whole team at Ford of Clermont. Ken and all the staff made buying a new car a very good experiance. Ken listened to what we wanted. Definitely going back to Ford of Clermont to purchase future vehicles. I recommend anybody looking for reliable dealership with a great,friendly staff to shop with them. You wont regret it!

No Games!!!

Found the vehicle I was looking for online and Ken answered the phone. Within moments Ken answered my questions and actually gave me an out the door price. I arrived at the dealership later that day and Ken showed me the vehicle, appraised my trade in and we quickly came to an agreement, From start to finish I was in and out in less than an hour with no hidden surprises. Ken was fair and honest and I would recommend him. Also I have to give kudos to the financing team as they did NOT give me any high pressure up sells! Bought my second vehicle!

In 2016 I purchased a 2017 Ford Mustang convertible from Ken. Yesterday, 2/11/18 I purchased my second vehicle 2018 Ford F-150 sport. I was so happy that Ken was still working there. After I purchased my mustang Ken called me 3 different times just to see if everything was ok with the mustang. This in itself was very impressive. In this day and age customer service is sorely missing. When I wanted a second vehicle there was no hesitation, I was going back to ford of Clermont. Everyone there is courteous, professional and straight forward. I encourage anyone wanting a vehicle, call Ken you will be very pleasantly surprised. He does exactly what he says he will do. Found the used Super Duty Pickup I needed.

Stopped by looking for information on a pickup to tow my 10,000 pound trailer and met with Kenny. We reviewed my needs and budget. Kenny said he would keep a look out for me. It wasn't long before I received a call about a truck that would fit my needs. Kenny found me a 2012 F-350 King Ranch, that was just traded in. Ford of Clermont received the highest rating because of the service they provided to my daughter & I. Our diesel truck broke down while we were traveling to Palm Beach. They immediately took our vehicle into our their service department & evaluated the problem and repaired it as quickly as they could. They realized we were from out of town and gave us prompt service. Scotty & Beau are top notch. They go above & beyond to help people.
