fantastic service

Fred Beans fixed a hybrid engine problem resulting from a vacuum hose failure and determined that Toyota issued a replacement part under warranty. They installed the replacement part at no charge. A different Toyota dealer charged me over $300.00 for the same problem and didn’t even fix the problem. I’ve been using Fred Beans in Flemington since 2013 and would highly recommend them to anyone.

2010 Subaru Legacy Limited

Had a great experience at Fred Beans Toyota. Purchased a 2010 Subaru Legacy that was in good condition from this dealership. Good points about this dealer: 1) Good response rate: Emailed inquiring about the Subaru Legacy and got a response from Chris Buck within 10 minutes. 2) Knowledgeable sales people: Chris explained all the features of the car, showed the CarFax and service records and answered all my questions. 3) Aggressively priced car: I checked a couple of options in the area online and none had a car that had a warranty left, plus some niceties like Nav, Leather, Sunroof, Harman/Kardon etc.for a reasonable price 4) Dealership: The dealership and staff were good and well organized. I got all my paperwork and other formalities done in a very short time. The car was all cleaned up and ready to go by the time I arrived at the dealership. I would definitely recommend paying this dealer a visit and/or checking out their inventory!!

Attentive service department and clean wait area. The service people hear what you are saying and acknowledge you. However, I do not like the way the service area reception is set up, I always feel like I'm imposing when I walk in, as though the desk people have something better to do then assist you and everyone tries to pass the buck. Its really quirky in that way. Once you get their attention though, I've had no problems. The men who actually come to service your car are great. Happy bunch, hold the doors for you, keep your rugs clean, very friendly. They do a good job too. Keeps me coming back for seconds when necessary.

Bait-and Switch

I visited Fred Beans Toyota to look at two late model used cars, both of which included sunroofs according to the listing placed by the dealership. After my 1 hour and 40 minute ride to get there I discovered that neither car had a sunroof. When I brought this to the salesman's attention and produced a copy of the ad he replied, "I don't know, I didn't write the ad." Searching through other sources I found these same cars listed, not only with sunroofs included in the description but also with remote starters. I also asked about the remote starters during my visit, neither of the cars included those either. The people I dealt with at Fred Beans I found to be dishonest and clearly using bait-and-switch tactics...buyer beware.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Sold me a lemon

Although very friendly service the dealer sold me a lemon. Almost every light lit up on the dashboard when I got it in my driveway. The dealer hid this information prior to me examining the vehicle by resetting it.

Polite and friendly service!

My husband and I had a really good experience at Fred Beans Toyota. We met with Brian Grohgans, who was very polite and friendly and walked us through the different options we had in mind. He was efficient and knowledgeable, without being pushy and gave us a very good experience overall. We would definitely recommend dealing with Brian for your dealings with Fred Beans Toyota.

Totally unsatisifed

I went into the Toyota dealership with a friend, She was having her wheel fixed we decided to go upstairs and look at suv's. A salesman who was on his day off approached my friend and she had told him I was looking to get rid of my BMW and possible go into a SUV. I looked at the Rav 4 and was ok with it there were NO rav 4's that I liked soooooo he brings out this Venza which was ok I drove it for 10 min and somehow I felt like I was Bambozzled into buying the Veneza. I don't like the way it rides and felt like I am driving my Grandmothers station wagon. Very Very unhappy I left 3 messages with the salesman. The dealership had called me to get my license plates and I explained to the guy at the desk how unhappy I was and he got me a finance guy from the back office (who I have yet to hear back from in 4 days) he proceeded to tell me he would look up my info and call me. After waiting 3 days and no call I called my Salesman for help again. I told him there is a highlander that was cheaper than what I got and I hate the Venza. He proceed to get nasty saying you signed the papers its yours. I explained I don't like the Venza and want the Highlander and he told me it would be an extra 500,00 a month on my payments ??????? I said the car is less money?????? Again there was 400 miles on the car and in the same condition I bought it in. I hung the phone up and Will NEVER EVER recommend the Dealership or the Salesman to ANYONE I know I will never purchase another Vehicle from them again. There were unprofessional and rude, I run a catering facility at a Local Golf Course that brings 20,000 people a week and will never say anything nice about the dealership. I have been on lease trade all day trying to find out how to get rid of this Venza. SOOOOOO UNSATISIFED!!!!!!!

I never would have thought...

I never would have thought that we could actually have a terrific experience buying a car. I had looked at a pre-owned 4Runner that Fred Beans of Flemington had on the lot. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I sent the Manager, Brad a note and told him what I was looking for, that I was pre-approved for a loan, etc. About a week later he calls me personally that he has a 4Runner similar in most ways to the one I had looked at, 3rd row seating, moon roof, etc., that had just come off of a lease, and he was calling me first to come take a look at it. It was perfect except for a little crack on the rear bumper, they pledged to have repaired. I had "special needs" with regards to configuring the vehicle, and they were fabulous. I was pre-approved with my own bank but their finance guy ran some numbers in 20 minutes and got me a better deal that saved me $700 over the course of the loan. Mark Paterson, the sales guy was awesome, and I actually missed him after the car was purchased, and the minor repair made a few weeks later, perfectly and with no headaches at all. A great experience all around, and would unquestionably give them our next automotive business.
