Exceptional experience at Galeana Kia

We needed a used car for my daughter who is a college student. As a 31 year veteran in Law Enforcement and experienced in pretty much everything, I can tell you without hesitation that the sales team at Galeana Kia in Fort Myers is exceptional and treated my daughter as one of their own. We were in and out with a fantastic deal that has my daughter smiling every day. That’s what matters to me most the genuine care and concern they showed. Bait and Switch

My husband and I were given a lease quote for a 2019 Sorento. I returned to the dealer alone and was given a quote that was almost $200 more! I was told that there were not many Sorentos available. The rep then told me that they have many Sportage models on the lot and showed me the aisles and aisles of Sportages. Was in the showroom for 1 1/2 hours and having waited almost an hour for the "quote" on the KIA, I declined to test drive the Sportage. I asked that they email me a quote on the Sportage and I would return based on the quote. They never sent me the follow up. I feel that they overpriced the Sorento because they were hoping to unload a Sportage, I went to Fort Myers Honda, was treated respectfully, in a timely fashion and got a great deal. PS I was a repeat customer and had previously leased Sorentos since 2011 and used this dealer for maintenance.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Having car trouble is always an inconvenience. However, today my troubles were eased by the excellent service performed by Shane Owens and his team. They worked my car into their schedule and worked several hours to fix the problem and then performed some upgrades that they noticed needed to be done. All of the work was still under warranty! The shuttle trip home and the return pickup by Shaun and Tim were greatly appreciated and enhanced by their friendly conversation. Great job guys!

New car purchase KIA Stinger GT2 AWD

Great team: Salesman Paul Freeman knowledge about the vehicles was excellent. Finance Donald explained the finance easy and gave us clear and understandable options and service. Service Manager Kyle and assoc Shane kept me informed on my new vehicle status and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my purchase and timely delivery. The owner of this dealership has created a GREAT team of people. Their professionalism, work ethics and honesty to the customers expectations is clearly defined. I hung up my BMW keys for a KIA Stinger GT AWD for a new adventure. As a new customer to KIA overall experience I whole heartily give this dealership an A+ / 5 STARS. As customers we all have expectations when making a large purchase and we all want to be treated fairly Team Galeana did a great job.

Incompetent service

This is regarding their service center... My experience... I brought my Kia Sedona van in for regular maintenance trying to go buy the book to keep it in Tip-Top shape mind you it was running Tip Top no problems whatsoever when I brought it in... however one of the regular maintenance things they said I needed to do was a transmission flush which I approved I said fine I didn't look up the fact that it really doesn't need it and you really don't need it but I thought that I should go buy the book at the time meanwhile when I pick up the car it is not running correctly it was sluggish it was slower it hesitated a little I didn't know it was from the transmission flush or they did put new plugs in also I took it back they said I didn't know what I was talking about it was just a tires which I knew I needed some new tires but I also told him no the car is not running the same they refused to listen to me and did nothing... So I put up with it running hesitating and being sluggish until then the transmission starts slipping I took it to another mechanic not a dealer and you know what? Transmission was 3 quarts low I watch them do it with my own eyes it is not leaking anywhere whatsoever by the way but after they serviced it they did not fill it up correctly and it could have cost me my transmission if it hasn't already I have no idea right now after they refilled it 2 or 3 quarts it seems to be fine like it used to be but I don't trust them they acted like I didn't know what I was talking about when they're the ones that don't know what they're doing how do you service a transmission and not fill it back up correctly take from this what you will but you've been warned

Attacked by a team of vultures!

I went in to browse, and took a test drive in a used Kia Sedona. Before I knew it, I had the salesman, the manager, etc. surrounding me convincing me that I had to buy this car! I genuinely felt that I could not leave the store without buying. I have disliked the thing since I bought it, and 4 months later traded it in for a used Honda, losing LOTS of money. But I didn't care. Would never recommend this dealership.

You would think Every New Car has Automatic Door locks! Didn't even think to ask if it was an optioin! That ended me ever buying from Kia and Galeana ever again!!

They Lied About A Smell--What Else is Hidden?

At the end of March, I negotiated a deal over the phone with this dealership for a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L with navigation. They were going to offer me an incredible deal--they had the perfect car, with pretty low mileage, with the perfect colors. I live five hours away, so I wanted to make sure the car was as good as it seemed on AutoTrader. It was advertised as a non-smoker used vehicle. I then asked several times over the phone to make sure it didn't smell like smoke. The salesman, Marty, told me that he was sitting in the vehicle during the phone call and it absolutely did not smell of smoke. When I got to Galeana Kia the next day after a five hour drive, the car reeked of smoke, and I had to walk away from the deal. Smoke lowers the value of a vehicle by about a third, so they were actually trying to sell it to me for an unfair price. My boyfriend, who drove with me, ended up getting a migraine and got physically sick on the way home from the headache the smoke gave him. He was only in the vehicle a short time to check out the car's features and it affected him that much. We ended up having to get a hotel on the way back so he could recover. My concern is, if they lied about the smoke smell after I specifically asked about it and it was advertised as being a non-smoker's car, what else do they lie to their customers about? They also lied to me knowing I would be driving five hours to get the car. It was such a waste of not only time, but also money for gas and a hotel. They seem super nice, but I would not trust them after this experience and would not recommend them to anyone.

Best Car Buying Experience

This is the second time we have dealt with Galeana Kia and cannot express enough what a great dealership this is. Car purchase was pure joy both times due largely to a super salesman who really cares about his customers' wants and needs. James Pizzullo has been with this dealership for quite a few years. He is one of the top salesmen there consistently because he takes good care of his customers whether they are there to purchase or just browse. No high pressure, gives all info necessary and then lets customer decide what they want to do. Very open with costs, fees etc. Highly recommend him to all considering a Kia.

Was looking for a new car as current lease was ending. Used the internet, visited numerous dealerships from Fort Myers to Naples but did not have any success. Then I stopped by Galeana Kia and met Dalia and little did I know that my search was about to conclude. Dalia went above and beyond to help me find and eventually lease a car in my budget and with the equipment and color. Believe me this degree of professionalism I did not find else where. And that was Huge

My sales person dalia, truly one of a kind met her on Sunday told her what my price range was an model I was looking for. Well, after about 45 mins of trying out my options we had found the match,she went above and beyond and in this day an time it's all about quick in an out without listening to the consumer I felt like being home an part of her family. Granted she was the sales person but the other staff members were also acomindating to me and others there. I did explain that I was also looking elsewhere and that dealership gave me the runaround to a point that I turn my head when I drive bye. Dalia is a great asset to the dealership an was glad I stop in that Sunday. Yup I did purchase the car an also will bring in my other Kia to them for whatever service it requires. Anyone that knows me knows that I don't write reviews unless it was truly worth it so Dalia an staff keep up the great job an will see you in the future.

Excellent Customer Service

Zach was very attentive and helpful in locating and deciding on a vehicle. We came there to look and maybe purchase a used vehicle. After I searched the lot, I picked a car I liked. It was the 2017 Kia Cadenza. We had no intention on a new car but now, after taking the long trip back home to Panama City Florida, we are so glad we leased the 2017 Kia Cadenza. The vehicle handles wonderfully, has really nice bells and whistles, and my wife now wishes she had a Kia (again) versus her leased 2017 Honda Accord. She may very well be heading to Kia when her lease is up. I still and always will miss my bright red 2002 Cadillac Eldorado but having something new, it's a first for me and it's nice. Wife said if there was a way to get out of her base model Honda Lease and into the Kia Cadenza, she would do it in the blink of an eye. Thank you again Zack for everything. Mario Jimenez

I walked into Galeana Kia very discouraged from recent experiences at other dealerships in the area. I was greeted right away and asked what I wanted and was expecting from the visit. I explained what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. Zach worked very hard to get me into a better car than I expected for just a little more than I told him I was wanting to pay. He also made sure that my children were occupied while I was in the middle of the purchasing process. I have never been more satisfied in a purchase or sales interaction than I was with Zach at Galeana Kia!
