PLEASANTLY SURPRISED

Came from nebraska because they had exactly what I needed and it was a hard to find truck. I was really worried about driving so far , but again they had what I needed. The truck was exactly how they described it . Some times you don't alway see everything in the pictures. I was in and out in no time and the staff treated me like a just bought a brand new truck. Thanks again and it was definitely worth the drive.

Not Good

This is the worst dealership around. Do not waste your time even looking here. They take cars on trade so they can use your money to float their dealership. Took 6 weeks for them to pay my trade off. I have bought and sold over 25 cars and not one transaction has been as bad as this one. Someone needs to step in and shut this place down. I will be notifying the Secretary of State police about this dealer as well as gm corporate who I have family that works there about their horrible practices using their customers credit to float the dealership from collapsing. Pure definition of robbing Peter to pay Paul! Certainly do not buy a used car from them because I can guarantee you will not receive a title for weeks to months because they don't have the money to pay it off atleast until they sell it and get paid on it a second time. I am not one to normally leave bad reviews but people really really need to be cautious about buying a car here.

True to their word.

Appreciative that the salesman stayed true to his word regarding price. I called beforehand- came in, and the price remained the same as what we had discussed. This did not happen at several other GMC dealerships I attempted to do business with. This is what made my decision to do business at Gateway.

new car purchase

I bought 1 new car from gateway out of many in the past. I spoke with Gene the same sales person we used before. I am a regular guy with not much money and I was treated like a king. It was the best buying time ever for my wife and I. We were in and out in record time even with a trade in to appraise. There was no pressure or untrue buying gimmicks to deal with. We ended up with a great new car at a great price which makes them a great dealer. Its hard to find a good one. We thank you so much and if I could type better I would write much more. THANKS !

Wonderful experience-Best customer service

Compared to every other dealership I visited while searching for a car, Gateway was the best by far! Gene, Don and the Gateway staff made me feel extremely comfortable while buying my new GMC. I will definitely be suggesting this dealership to my friends and family and will be returning in the future to purchase another vehicle!

Staff unfriendly and unintelligible. Techs are wet behind the ears and can't air a tire without a YouTube tutorial! Never taking my vehicle to this scam gang ever again!

Dealer Service dept experience (07/22/17)

As I am driving in, the person did not introduce himself, nor give his name during the checkout. His maintenance recommendations puzzled me. - Air Fuel & Intake valve cleaning = $164.95. My SUV mileage is 22605 as of this time. This should have been done before it reached the 20,000 mileage. My veh had a scheduled maintenance before it reaches 20,000 mileage, why was this not flashed on the maintenance reminder list. Is the GMC maintenance website not effective, when there is a maintenance/status reminder? I signed up for this website, why was this missed nor not recommended by the dealer service dept? I would like the dealer supervisor service dept call me and explained why this was not recommended earlier.

Horrible, Pathetic

They are being investigated for not providing titles in timely manner. I was called by a government agent investigating them. Poor service department customer service. So many issues with this dealership in the first 60 days since purchase I would reccomend no one ever to purchase here.

Bait and switch

Stay away from this place.They post discount rebates that do not apply to the specific vehicle then tell you its $2,000 more.Told me that vehicle is not $3500 off as stated on our website but only $1500 off.This all happened when I went to purchase it.Total scammers watch your back if you go here.Funny thing is they have changed it after being confronted about it and me posting a review of there scam.

Not Happy

I've had my vehicle less than 6wks & have had2 have catalytic converter & today im told i need $500+ work [90 day powertrain warranty doesn't cover] but it passed inspection [need sway bar repaired, brakes, rotors & wheel alignment...needless 2 say I'm angry & my 2nd note is due this week also. I feel i would have gotten better treatment @ a buy here pay here lot!

Oil Change

I had a good experience however, it took 3 hours just for me to get an oil change which I thought was ridiculous. I was told they were behind for some such reason. Other than my very long wait, I was satisfied that the cost for my oil change was included in my warranty.

Charged for service that was not completed.

I brought in my car to have the radio unlocked. I was told it would be about 15 minutes and cost is $70. Well, 2 hours into the service call they gave me the car back and told me they were not able to unlock the radio. And they told me there are no guarantees and I would still need to pay the $70. Why didn't they tell me that when they gave me the quote? Or tell me when they checked me in that day? I questioned how they could charge me and not complete the work, and I was told by the Service Advisor (Joe Bewig) that they need to pay the repairman for his work. I pressed the issue and he told me to go pay the cashier to get my car back. This is a total rip off to quote a price to do work, and then "not" complete the work, and still charge me.

I would not recommend this dealer.

My service advisor,Bob, went out of his way to help me with issue with both my vehicles. In one occasion, even though Gateway does not do their own bodywork, Bob was able to find someone who could do the bodywork needed on my car at an acceptable rate. The cashier, Kath, is the best, Very friendly and always looking to help the customer understand their bill and get a fair deal. I always get great customer service at Gateway. That is why I keep coming back.
