scam!!!!!!!

By dscdsc on 6/25/2018 at 1:16 AM. Helped by Pual.

I have a problem with my new car. I take it to my dealership for 3 times and i wait for 1 month, they still did't do the work and even lie to me. the problem happened to my new fiat spider 124 break, and i gived it to my dealership (Glendale Dodge Chrysler Jeep), they kept my car for a week and didn't fix it. when i have the car, the problem come back again, so i have to take it back. However, they take the car for more than a week and retured the car to me with out even fix it. they said that they gonna ask the fiat company. and i take my car back, still not fixed, i wait for another 1.5 weeks and keeping asking them, they always lie to me that the parts gonna be ready tomorrow. finally,i contect fiat company and i sent my car to Glendale Dodge Chrysler Jeep. i wait for another two weeks and they still not even start on my car. Also, they said it was a small factory problem which just need to change the break pad , but they turns out to change at least 12 part(whole breaking system and part of suspension system.) they keeping lie to me that the work is gonna be done the next day or week. but the truth is they not even start. Because of their inefficience and dishonesty. i no more turst their work. I really don't know what to do right now, the only thing i can say is DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Hour expected 2 hours still waiting. They text you when you arrive but sadly no updates after that. Expect to sit & wait & Best check on your vehicle to push them a bit. Sit and listen while the service rep argues & tells the others what they should be doing....

Outstanding Customer Service - Fantastic Deal!

By Heidi Eckard on 10/17/2016 at 4:03 AM. Helped by Michael, Sako, Jeff.

After working with Michael in Fleet, I am a fan and client for life! I contacted Glendale Dodge after reading the reviews, and was fortunate to meet Michael. He not only provided stellar service from my initial contact, but all throughout the sales process. I purchased a Ram 2500 Cargo Van, and Michael who was extremely professional, friendly, and transparent during the process, provided the best deal in this town and beyond. I have worked with numerous dealerships in the past, and the team at Glendale Dodge is really outstanding. Sako was able to meet me to complete the deal and deliver the car. Jeff in Finance who is extremely knowledgeable, very clearly and thoroughly reviewed the contract, and other docs with us. He worked efficiently, and with our interests in mind, completed the transaction in a timely manner. The van was immaculate when we picked it up, clean so clean, and a full tank of gas. I didn't even think dealers did that any longer! So, if you want a phenomenal deal, outstanding service, and an all around wonderful experience - again who says that when buying a vehicle?! - go see Michael at Glendale Dodge, along with Sako and Jeff. Thank you Michael, Sako, and Jeff -- you guys are the BEST!!

BEWARE!

By CarGuyLawyer on 7/14/2016 at 5:53 PM. Helped by Sako, Larry.

Let me preface this by saying I working in the car business for years and these guys are just plain SLIMY and LIARS! Agreed on numbers over the phone with SAKO from internet department, I asked about Price and Rate (rate is negotiable believe it or not, there is a buy rate and a sell rate- Dealers make money on the sell rate). I asked for a specific price on the car with a rate of 2.9 if I could show steller credit. Anyways, he said he would check on the deal. He checked and said his desk manager would do the deal. Got there, waited until we ran credit and then SAKO SAID HE NEVER AGREED TO THE DEAL. I told him to check with his desk then left us sitting out there for ever. I had to go into the sales managers office as they just left us out there. Then his desk manager LARRY Hurley talked to me like an idiot and said he never approved the deal. I told them to check their recorded phone calls, which he admitted they do, but he said he would not. He said it was up to his discretion. Then Larry tried some ammeter sales tactics about trying to change the subject and avoid the questions I asked. He has no idea how to handle a sale and could use some Grant Cardone training. He just has no idea how to talk to people. Larry is an idiot and he is desking deals like he is in the 80's Pre-Internet. Modern customers don't want this level of service. The reviews for this dealership are terrible and the good ones are fake. Come to this dealer if you want to be spoken to like a Moron and Lied to.

2016 Dodge Challenger Plus R/T Shaker

By RPGIARD on 6/19/2016 at 12:08 AM. Helped by Scott Wagner.

2016 Dodge Challenger Plus R/T Shaker I highly recommend Glendale Dodge Chrysler. My sales agent "Scott Wagner" is GREAT very knowledgeable about the cars he sells. I bought my 2016 Dodge Challenger Plus R/T Shaker from Scott because he cares about the customer needs... Plus he gave me the BEST DEAL out there. I did a lot of resceach before buying this car and no one out there could give me the deal that Scott managed to get me. Also the finance manager Jeff Edelstein is great...he was able to get me the best interest-rate on my loan. Then I met the whole staff at Glendale Dodge... they are also great. I've owned many cars over the years... the experience here was without any stress or hard sell tactics. To everyone at Glendale Dodge! Thank you for all your help with my new car! Sincerely, Robert

I walked away going to my car,I turn around, the same representative that blew me off, is interacting and walking with a couple and I was really??I wouldn't recommend this place at all just because it seems their quick to judge based on what you wear

Lemon alert don't buy from these guys

By rlp4 on 7/22/2015 at 9:22 PM. Helped by Adam / Jerry.

Horrible experience with this dealer, purchased a 2004 Jeep from them about 60 days ago. Their service reports showed various repairs, including transmission and emissions. After owning this vehicle for about 60 days and less than 1,000 miles it set trouble codes for both emissions and transmission. I tried to reach the sales person twice on the phone number I had for him when he was trying to get me to buy the jeep and was hung up on both times before anything was said, so I called the dealer number immediately and was connected to the sales person. After a very dismissive conversation with him, he finally told me that he could not help me, that it was a used car and they did not warranty anything on used cars, but that he would give my file, name and number to the sales manager and he would call me. It has now been a week and I have not heard a word from anyone. I went ahead and had my mechanic make the needed repairs, $1,100 catalectic converter and 4 new OS censors emissions. we are waiting to see if the trouble code for the transmission sets again. I have my suspicions that they may have made substandard repairs and or put band aids on things to get it sold, at this point fraud is probably too strong a word, but we will see what else comes up. If I had to do it again it would not be with this dealer.

I would not recommend this dealer.

By RNazarian on 12/11/2013 at 2:04 AM. Helped by Michael Walden, Joe Piane & Evan Ellis.

I don't know where to begin in expressing my thanks to Mr Ellis and his professional team over at Glendale Dodge. I have purchased two vehicles within the last year from them and both of my experiences were remarkable thanks to Michael Walden. He is the most knowledgeable and helpful salesman I have ever come to meet. He is very genuine and understanding, taking all the pressure out of car buying. He quickly took note of what I was looking for and showed me my options. He went out of his way to ensure I got just the car I was looking for. Joe made all the paper work seem like a cinch and answered ALL of my questions. Soon enough I was on my way in my new car! You guys rock! I have never met a more caring team of people. THANK YOU!!

All, Pros: Salesman(’s): Willingness to answer...

By macnewbee on 4/23/2013 at 9:22 PM. Helped by Tony Velazquez; Jeff Edelstein.

All, Pros: Salesman(’s): Willingness to answer questions. Knowledge of the brand and product. Appraiser remembered me from the first time I drove into the dealership a year earlier. Friendliness. Service Shop Foreman, Robert Lopez personally met with me to go over some issues I was having with my 2006 Wrangler. (Turned out to just be a Jeep thing.) I felt my loyalty to the dealership service department, and the Jeep brand was rewarded during the purchase my new 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Honesty of Finance Manager, Jeff Edelstein during the negotiation process. Also, his patience. Relative ease of purchase. (I came as an informed buyer, and was richly rewarded for the hard work put in on the front end researching and crunching numbers). Will buy from here again. Cons: Congested entrance to parking lot area. (Street parking is available, but I don’t want to park on the street.) Gas mileage of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. (Granted, I bought a V8 HEMI. I knew going into this gas mileage was going to be bad, but 10 mpg?! Really, Jeep?) I moved to CA in 2012 after having driven my 2006 Wrangler from MD. I couldn’t get an appointment at the LA Jeep dealership, but needed service for the Jeep. Being entirely new to the area, I used google.com/maps to find a nearby dealership that had an open appointment. They got me right in and out as I waited. The staff was very friendly and the process was easy. The dealership was 23 miles from my house though. My next service appointment, I next tried the downtown dealership for service. The experience was less than stellar, and I decided to always return to Glendale Jeep. A year later I was between buying a Lexus RX or staying in the Jeep family with a Grand Cherokee. My new wife’s two options for me. I decided to buy American. Tony Velazquez was very friendly and patient with me. The day I drove in to sell my vehicle, by happen stance, I was greeted by the used car appraiser. He was the same gentleman who I first met when coming to the dealership for the first time. The buying experience was an easy one, and I appreciated the staff taking care of me. Mr. Edelstein was very informative, taught me a thing or two I did not previously know about buying a car, and offered his services if I needed them regarding the warranty I had on my Wrangler. If you do your homework, and refuse to compromise on an intelligent and well thought out position, you will prevail. Respectfully, Francesco Columbu Howard

3 weeks ago, I went to Glendale Chrysler to look at some...

By GeoWhitt410 on 7/15/2012 at 8:54 AM. Helped by A dealer a financer.

3 weeks ago, I went to Glendale Chrysler to look at some Wranglers. While pulling into the lot, I was blocked from entering by a man crossing the parking lot drive (at the time I didn't know this was a dealer), and halfway across, he stopped, faced me, and looked my car up and down with a facial expression that screamed "you don't belong here". I parked my car next to the showroom near a group of dealers hanging out, and got out just to browse the selection and not looking to buy at the moment, but dealers aren't mind readers, they don't know this, so I expected to be approached. Nope. 30 minutes on their lot and no one. I mean, they were definitely there, but only at the showroom doors conversing and smoking, while some worked on selling cars to other families. I left hoping next time I visited looking to buy, I'd, at the very least, be greeted. 3 weeks later I was ready to buy. I entered the lot (which seemed busier than 3 weeks ago), no mean mugging guy, parked the car, got out, and started browsing. A dealer approached me almost immediately. He introduced himself and I told him what I was looking for. Keep in mind, this is my first new car buying experience. I expected to learn a few things, being that they sell cars everyday, and I buy cars never. My dealer found a Jeep I was looking for, and I test drove it (first ever). So far so good. Time to do paperwork. I filled out a loan application, and turns out I need a co-signer. Thats my problem, I'll deal with it. I told the dealer I'll go home and talk to my dad and see what I could do, in which he offered me the keys to take the Jeep home for the night (which is a smooth move on the dealers part). My dad was alright with co-signing, and the next day we both returned to seal the deal. I finally met the financer that was shopping for my loan, and by the end of the night, I was disgusted that any business, especially a car dealership, would hire AND pay this guy due to his lack of professionalism and condescending behavior. Keep in mind, when my dad and I entered the lot, it was 330pm on a saturday, and we started signing the title at 6pm (closing time). This guy obviously seemed in a hurry to get out, and because it took too long for me to "throw my cash" at him, he seemed to be taking it personally. If it wasn't for the dealer, I wouldnt have bought here. The dealer truely did everthing in his power to get me what I wanted. After signing, I was to wait for my new keys. My dad went to use the restroom and I entered the show room to wait. My dad and I were the only customers there at the time, and the place was apparently waiting on us. I found the financer talking to a group of dealers next to the main entrance. I over heard one of the dealers tell the financer to just go home, but the financer had to wait because he was still waiting on us (i was still waiting for my keys). A dealer asked how his daughter was doing, and he responded, "she's waiting at home for her dad to get off work." Like it's my fault I'm keeping him from his kid. What, is this guy new? He had to expect to be working after hours for the sake of a sale when he started his position at this dealership. I direct security at a mall in the area. If the tables were turned, and we were closing and I was about to go home, and he lost his car in the parking lot, or it needed a jump start, or his kid ran off and he lost sight of them, you better believe I'm going to be there as long as it takes to get the job done, and there is no profit on my behalf for doing so. But I buy a CAR and I'm the bad guy. Honestly, if this guy was my employee, representing my business in the way he had, he'd be looking for a new job the next day. Not even a handshake was given by him after the sale. Cowardice. My dealer was great. My financer should be working the sewers.

I bought a used car there, i drove it 3 days and big problem. I bring the car back and they said that there is a transmission problem. They can fix it but I should pay $1400 (according to my insurance 50/50). I even didn't have the time to bring the car to the manufacturer to make a total check out of the car. I think they sold me a Lemon car. Back yourself with your lawyer.

By Stlnative on 9/8/2011 at 12:10 AM. Helped by Service Manager (forgot name).

As a loyal customer of Glendale, having purchased two Town & Country Vans, I have given this dealership virtually all of my service. I bought an extended warranty, for "bumper to bumper" coverage. Recently,I had a dispute with them over having to pay for parts, that were not on the "excluded parts list". I've made two attempts to get more information, but the service manager refuses to reply (one call, one letter). This is how they treat their loyal customers??? AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!!

This is the only place I will buy my cars from. I recently purchased a new Caravan from a salesman named Ron. Though I didn't have my heart set on a minivan, my wife and two sons got the dvd player and the safety they were looking for. What led me to comment was the fact that I was able to walk in and drive out with a vehicle without any hassles whatsoever. They had the van in stock, plus I was able to negotiate a fair deal in about 15 minutes. They delivered on everything they promised, and we were able to operate all the gadgets on the van by the time we left. Definitely a five star experience! I'm going back in July to get the '11 SRT8 Challenger, thanks again to Ron and Pablo and everyone at Glendale Dodge!

I started bringing my car to Glendale Dodge last year...

By Knarferr on 7/24/2010 at 11:40 PM. Helped by Javier, Astrid.

I started bringing my car to Glendale Dodge last year when Chrysler dropped all the other dealerships in the area. Why Chrysler decided to keep this one is a total mystery to me, because the service center at Glendale Dodge has done nothing but consistently try to rip me off. My first encounter with Glendale Dodge came last year when my car wouldn't start. I had a new battery and the way the car had reacted before it died made me think the problem was the starter, so I brought it in for service. I was told that the battery was dead and that I also had bad battery cables that were not covered under warranty. They said it would cost me $700 for the new cables and labor. I had a new battery that was still under warranty at Pep Boys so I told them I would take the car there to get the new battery and then come back for the cables. While at Pep Boys I asked them to check the battery cables. They said the cables were fine and that all I needed was new connectors. Pep Boys gave me a new battery for free (because of the warranty) and charged me only $20 for the new connectors. That was over 9 months ago and I have not had any problems starting the car since. So either Glendale Dodge is completely incompetent or they flat out lied about the battery cables. Either way, had I listened to them I would have been out $700 instead of $20. Now, last weekend my check engine light came on. I took the car in on Wednesday to get it looked at and I informed them that I had a reoccurring problem with the #1 cylinder. That problem has always been covered under warranty. Glendale Dodge however tells me that the problem is a cracked spark plug that just coincidently is in the #1 cylinder. Gee, isn't that convenient?!?! Instead of honoring they warranty and fixing the vehicle for free they tell me the spark plug is not covered under the warranty and that I need a $300 tune up to fix the problem. I say no thanks and decided that I would take the car elsewhere for a tune-up. But wait, last night when I am driving home from work the check engine light goes off and the car is running fine. So either a cracked spark plug can mysteriously fix itself or Glendale Dodge was once again lying through their teeth and trying to scam me out of more money. My car is still under warranty. With all the other Dodge/Chrysler dealerships in the area closed down or forced to go independent I have no choice but to bring my car here or go to Canoga Park (quite the trek). So I'm stuck with these scam artists, but you don't have to be. If your car is not under warranty do not bring your car here under any circumstances! If your car is under warranty and they tell you that you need repairs that are not under warranty GET A SECOND OPINION!! Don't ever believe anything that they say...EVER!! Okay, I'm done now and I am off to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I would not recommend this dealer.
