Special Order 2017 F350

I started of my quest to buy a new truck by contacting multiple dealers in the region by email with the exact specifications of the truck I wanted and was seeking the first round of pricing by email to narrow down the dealers that were willing to negotiate. I got responses from about 3 out of 8 that were more than the standard come in and lets talk. From these 3 dealers I was quickly able to determine that Glenn Ford was the most interested in earning my business and was willing to deal with me via email up until the point I felt it was time to come into the dealer. The other two dealers were so off on their initial pricing that it almost made me feel like they thought I was an idiot. Glenn began searching for a truck that was already built but was unable to find the perfect match for this OCD customer so we ended up special ordering a truck. Getting the deal finalized was pretty painless and was quicker than past purchases for me from other dealers. They allowed me to double check the order before it was placed and then they got it entered into the system in a timely manner. During the wait from order to delivery, my OCD kept me contacting the dealer to get updates on the truck and the staff was always accommodating to this high maintenance custom. On delivery day everything went very smoothly and they had the extra parts I had ordered installed and configured when I arrived at dealer. The final paper work went without a hitch and I left a satisfied customer with my new truck. I would highly recommend this dealer over others in the area based on my experience and would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Glenn Ford. I got to work with many staff members during this process and was very pleased with everyone that I dealt with.

Awful Service

Want awful service? Come on down the Glenn ford where they will tell you that your car is "CHEAP"! Since when did a bumper to bumper. Warranty not cover repairs and problems with the car? According to Glenn Ford if you buy a car that's "CHEAP" according to them it is not covered. Since when did Ford want there service advisors to say that there cars are cheap? I was told my car was going to be taken in on a Wednesday I get there and they don't have the loaner car they were going to provide so I was told that they would call me and they never did it took me a week to get my car in this dealership after repeated calls if you are wanting to try Glenn Ford service go elsewhere like Paul Miller or Jack Kain they will treat you much better.

Online buying

I have been searching for a car for several weeks. My daughter found my vehicle online at Glenn Ford Lincoln and called she talked Byron Evans we took a trip to Nicholasville the next day and found a Chevy Cruze. I'm from Louisville and we drove to Nicholasville for this car. I just want to say Glenn Ford Lincoln has some great guys working there and some of them are from Louisville. We had a good time and great experience there, it was worth the trip. Thanks, Alex, Justin, DJ and Byron and there were another guy stop and talk to us as we waited he was so tall 7 foot or more had a good time talking with him as well. (Alex Knight was my salesman.) Very dissapointing

I bought a car from glenn ford last year. I was told the car was in great condition, i later came to find that they "had not had time to fully inspect this trade". well that became very apparent when i took it home. the electrical system in the vehicle was completely shot. my sunroof opens it self and windows roll up and down at random while im driving. this vehicle constantly burns oil, the headlights do not function at all, and the motor has a cylinder out. when i attempted to contact the dealer to give them an opportunity to help me make it right, they have continusly chosen to ignore my emails, texts and calls. but im a assured over and over again that " a manager will be with you shortly". in short, go somewhere else. take your time and pick a dealer that will at least tell you what your options are in a situation like this. i wasnt asking for a free car or free repair. i simply wanted someone to go over my options with me. i hope this will keep some people from falling into the same trap that i did. they took my money and ran.

Very rude general manager

I would rate this place less than 1 if possible. The general manager is extremely rude and a real butt! He told me a price I told him what I could pay and he wanted to know why I gave him an offer lower than his quoted price if I didn't have anything but the amount I had budgeted. $1300 difference! And he wouldn't try working with me. Well Dudley it's because it's my money and I'm looking for the best deal. But who isn't! You're in the car business I'm sure you've ran across people like that everyday!!

dishonesty and scamming a core dealer value

I did by a vehicle. Did not realize when test driving a new car that they were taking pictures to sell my old car to mark it up 6 x the value for future customers ....,thats where they get you! I appreciate good business but am sickened with the sales man Ryan (he will give you some fairytail stories about his life). And the new car manager Patriick who promotes a culture of decent. Im not sharing this review to stop future buyers. Do as you will ..,.go somepace else is what i have to offer you

Traded a big truck to a bigger truck. Hassle free

My wife and I went to Glenn to looks at trucks on our bike. We picked one out, drive it, and then went in to discuss cost. We told them the truck we wanted to trade in as well as another motorcycle. They gave us a very fair trade in value on both sight unseen. I highly recommend salesman Rob Hollingsworth. He was very personable, very honest, and no pressure or hassle. I really appreciated the laid back stress free environment. That probably help seal the deal more than anything except of course the free life time oil changes which are expensive in a diesel. Rob worked very hard to get us where we wanted to be.

Shocked, but I suppose I can believe it about a Glenn dealer

Called in distress basically because I had an alignment from another shop that I suspect over adjusted, over tightened, or something. I asked someone named Dan why maybe the steering would be so much tighter and different just from an alignment. My car is an older Lincoln, almost 30 years old; but the mileage is very low and the car is practically mint condition. It turns a lot of heads. I had hoped he would be willing to set up an appointment to check it and set everything back to Original Lincoln specs. Dan said since someone else had worked on it and that it was so old, " I wouldn't be interested in looking at it." I don't know about everyone else, I just thought it was a really nasty response. I'm still a little shocked. But, visits to Glenn Nissan years ago were interesting too. I never really felt like they cared. However, the Nissan store was never that nasty. I just never really got the impression they cared. I wasn'T even considered for an appointment. I don't know if they just don't have the knowledge of the older vehicle or just didn't want to fool with it because it wasn't new and easy. I don't know. I do lots of maintenance on my vehicles. It would have potentially been future business for them for fluid changes, brakes, maintenance, etc. I never even got to the point of asking the price for a steering fluid change i wanted done very soon. I don't normally write reviews. I just felt people should know. I'm just terribly disappointed.

Repair

Took a suv in for repair and they had car 17days and could not fix it. Called me and said no fix and to come and get it and would contact me when they knew something. Service contact wouldn't even come out when I came to pick up car after 17 days of them telling me they were trying to fix it. This is not what I would expect with a Lincoln. He was In back and they had to call him to see what to do. I left him 2 messages since then and have never heard back. Took my car back to dealer I bought car from (1 1/2 hours away) and it was fixed in 1 1/2 hours. Glen ford is about a mile from from house but he trip was well worth it. Very disappointed in service with glen ford . I even called the dealer that fixed it to see if some new update had been released on how to fix car and was told no,

Very disappointed!

I was looking around at this car lot, wile a friend of mine was getting an oil change and tire rotation I found an adorable car I was really considering,the price was great I thought, but when I went to meet back up with my friend to get her to come look at the vehicle also I couldn't help but hearing completely obsine and vulgar music, and language coming from the quick lube shop. I desided to take my business elsewhere, as did my friend. And wanted to let people desiding to shop at this particular place that they do have some beautiful vehicles, and might be a good place to buy I'm not sure, but if these men don't take there profession or company image (return business) seriously, I highly doubt they care any more about your vehicle.
