Bad service.

Service department shows very low skills. Can not even recognize suspension defects . Demanding more money for just check vehicle suspension elements, while car is on the lift for oil change. My car 2011 Hyundai Elantra was under extended warranty, but they did not obtain repair confirmation, sent me repair bill to pay and convinced me to communicate almost 45 days (phone calls, email, fax) with warranty provider in order to provide coverage. Warranty provider paid in full, but was very curios what personnel Greg Hyundai have, which don't know simple procedures. Bad bad service. Boris

Dishonest people, stay away from this place

Ran my credit approved me, appraised my trade in, agreed upon a deal and 15 min before I go to get car I got a text car is sold to someone else. Next day same car still for sale but for 2k more. :). Just FYI this is the type of deal you will get here!

A godsend dealership

Once again, mechanic Ned and manager Sherry came to my rescue, performing emergency repais at THE LOWEST COST POSSIBLE for me . How can I ever thank them enough? They treat you like family. I know now that when time comes for the next car, I will look no further than this dealership. To do otherwise, would be traitorous. Love them all.

Absolute Worst Car Buying Experience

So my wife and I, looking to finally buy a truck 3 months ago, located a 2016 Tucson here online and after doing some research, decided to come here to check it out. We liked the truck and decided to move forward with it. Well the salesman we started off with transferred us to another salesman who were discovered to be new. Additionally, I guess we came there within 2 hours of closing so needlessly, we were rushed thru the entire process. The extended warranty which is most important to me was never explained to us and most of the paperwork was rushed. I was thoroughly not pleased with my service and is now dealing with the consequences of it. Don't waste your time coming here.

Not a good experience - at all.

My wife and I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe right before Christmas 2018. Hyundai cars are great in my book, so the real hurdle was finding the right dealer. We went to Gregory Hyundai because they had the model and color we preferred. Steve, our salesman was polite and cordial (but as we all know the salesmen don’t make the important decisions). So here are the Manufacturer offers (that I was expecting to get) listed are $2500 cash back, Down payment match offer: $500 cash back, College Grad offer: $400 cash back, $50 reward card for test driving a new Hyundai, and 0% financing for 36 months. Here is what I did NOT get: • Manufacturer offer of $2500 cash back. Reason: It was $2500 cash back OR 0% financing for 36 months. Not AND. Did not see that on the fine print. • Down payment match offer: $500 cash back. You had to open some type of account one month in advanced to qualify. Did not see that on the fine print. • College Grad offer: $400 cash back. Had all the proper paperwork. No reason was given why I was not eligible for this incentive. • $50 reward card for test driving a new Hyundai. Our salesman Steve stated the dealer does not participate in the program. Here is what I got: 0% financing for 36 months. I also got a decent price for my trade-in. One person, Tony, took care of the financing the day we were there. Tony seemed very disconnected from the customers. He kept forgetting our names or calling us by the wrong names. It seems like all he cared about was having our signatures in his paperwork. He also was selling some additional service packages. When I didn’t show any interest in any of them, he seem to show some anger and didn’t understand why I was not interested. There seemed to be some strong-arm techniques because he ultimately sold us a package we didn’t want with his double talk and his “disappointment” with us. We finally finish the paper work and Steve showed us to our car after being there all afternoon. In our excitement to get our car and go home, we inspected it and found no visible damages. When we got home we notice a ding in the rear bumper. We showed it to Steve the next business day. We got a call from Barry telling us they couldn’t do anything for us. It seems like Barry was basically calling us liars. Very unfortunate for us. Lesson learned: take your phones out to take a video of the car before leaving the dealer. Overall we love the car, but the dealer is not much to be desired. In our opinion, you can find a better dealer elsewhere.

Lemon sold

This dealership KNOWINGLY sold my husband a lemon and now will not buy it back for the price which he is asking for. He's contacted them via the phone as well as has personally gone to the dealership. During his first conversation with one of the salesmen, he was told that he should just sell the car to someone else to which he replied "why would I do to someone else what you guys did to me". All we want is for them to pay off the remaining balance of the car so that we don't have to spend anymore on repairs.

Total Lack of Customer Service

Upon visiting this dealership to view a used automobile we were interested in, we told the sales manager we needed to discuss the possibility to purchase. We called back to express our interest to buy the used car, but the sales manager said unless we were in their office within 2-hours they would not hold the car for us. I offered to place a substantial deposit $4,000 with my credit card, and they refused to accept the deal. I called back later to see if we can make our way to this dealership, and they told us the car was sold. I never experienced such a high level of incompetence at car dealership prior to this, and would not recommend them to anybody!

Inventory not on hand

Make sure you call an hour before you get there to confirm your scheduled appointment on a vehicle is still there. Drove an hour to get there only to be told that my vehicle was already sold since yesterday, yet the sales man didn't tell me that even though we were texting in the morning about directions. Could be a bad sales person or might be their management team policy.

I have purchsed 3 vehicles from Gregory Hyundai and I have referred many other customers. I always get my car serviced at the dealership and I am quite pleased with the outcome. Salvador was my service adviser and I was very pleased. Sherry usually takes care of me but she was with another customer. Salvador was very informed and pleasant to deal with. The service department at Gregory Hyundai was terrific. The service person who took care of me was also outstanding. The service manager explained to me everything that was done to my car. The gentleman made me feel right at home. I had a great experience at Gregory Hyundia and I would recommend both sales and service to anyone who asks about Gregory Auto Group including the Hyundai store in Highland Park

SWITCHEROO

I bought a used Azera off the dealership floor with 3,000 miles on it. Right away, the car performed like a rear wheel drive in the snow and ice, slipping all over the place and barely getting any traction when starting from a full stop. The traction warning light would also often go on when starting from a full stop in wet and sometimes even dry roads. I just took the car in because the low tire pressure warning light had gone on twice in a matter of weeks, so took it to a different Hyundai dealer suspecting a slow leak (car now has 18,000 miles). I was told the front tires were completely bald. Now that the tires have been replaced, the car performs properly in the snow, just as a front wheel drive car should. I suspect that the dealer switched the tires that were on the car with old ones before I took possession. Also, none of the wheels had wheel caps (my bad for not noticing), but they did at least make that right. Finally, they only gave me only one key. I would never buy another car from this dealership.

There is so much new technology in the new cars. My last car was a 13 year old Lexus. So, there is a lot to learn. When asked, all were very willing to help, but I still don't understand all that I need to know. I will be calling with my questions and am sure they will be helpful.
