top of the list non negotiators

By local resident on 11/20/2018 at 10:21 PM. Helped by (Joel).

I spent the better part of a day buying a used vehicle from this dealership and they would not negotiate a $50 drop in price to pay for a broken tail light lens. I purchased the vehicle anyways it it has been the worst Toyota truck I have ever owned having to spend over $1500.00 in repairs and counting. I would never deal with these people again.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Above & Beyond

By Rychard Mocha on 4/29/2018 at 6:01 PM. Helped by Joel Grey.

I drove to Grey's from Yakima, WA for the Used Pickup I had wanted. I traded in my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 for a 2008 Chevy Silverado Vortex Max (a beefed up 2500 w/ a 6.0 L V-8). I dealt with one of the owners, a very fine man, Joel Grey. Joel treated me very fairly through out the entire process. When I returned home I had my mechanic inspect the entire truck from top to bottom. The inspection was not the best news I had ever rec'd. So I called Joel and we negotiated until we reached an agreement I could live with. For that effort, I commend Joel for being a man of his word. By law once you leave the lot with a used car, the seller is not responsible for fixing anything. You have the right to take the used care in to your mechanic prior to purchase for inspection. However, I was not able to do that. Despite that, Joel & Grey's Chevrolet stepped up to the plate financially. They worked with my mechanic here in Yakima to help correct issues found in the inspection. I feel they went above & beyond. Thank you Joel & Grey's Chevrolet!

I would recommend this dealer.

Not recommended.

By DMG on 4/15/2018 at 11:03 PM. Helped by Casey.

Called this place to ask about a ‘16 Mazda MX-5 w/9,500 mi on it. I told them about my Trade-In, and what I was offered for such by a dealer in my home town of Longview. The salesman said the Mazda was in excellent condition and that they would be able to match the trade-in offer. Well, the Mazda was filthy, nicks all over it; wheels had been curbed, etc., and they offered me about half what the Longview dealer did for my Trade-In. I told them that I didn’t necessarily need to trade-in my old car, but that I couldn’t pay their asking price...they copped an attitude, so I left. All this after driving 2 hours to their store, then waiting for 1 1/2 hrs while they played the typical ol’ skool dealership games of good cop/bad cop. Bottom line? This dealership is sub-par, at best. Take your business elsewhere.

I would not recommend this dealer.

My experience was fantastic.

By Dennis1979 on 9/19/2017 at 3:42 AM. Helped by Joel Grey and Todd Swenson and of course Cathy.

Joel went the extra mile to find the exact truck I was looking for, he even went so far as swapping a truck for the one that had everything I wanted. And Todd Swenson in finance made my day when he told me I could get re-inbursed for the remainder of my extended warranty on my previous vehicle. All in all I want to again thank both Joel and Todd.

I would recommend this dealer.

So pleased!

By Jen on 8/6/2017 at 1:41 AM. Helped by Mike Renzo.

This is the second time we've purchased from Mike at Grey Chevrolet and both times have been so awesome! All of the staff is friendly and there isn't that uncomfortable overselling feeling at all. Best car buying experiences we've ever had.

I would recommend this dealer.

Don't trust them!

By 2011Caprice on 11/12/2016 at 1:31 AM. Helped by Matt Preus.

Contacted them about a vehicle that had a current recall notice on it. They said they would contact me as soon as it was repaired. Sold it to someone else without calling. Sad!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Avoid Grey Chevrolet!! BUYER BEWARE!

By JMKnorr on 5/18/2014 at 1:47 AM. Helped by Mark Newcomer.

Purchased our Chevy Cruze from Mark Newcomer at Grey Chevrolet October 2013. The car shouldn't have been sold to us as it was under recall for the half shaft repair. Fixed it the first time in November. 2nd recall announced in March, they did not bother to call us. Instead we called them to have the car inspected and it needed the repair again. We were told by their service department it was completely safe to drive. LIE! The half shaft broke and sent my son and I backwards down a hill. They told lie after lie about the part and even forged our initial work order paperwork to make it appear as though the recall work had been done the day we bought it, sadly for them that was a Sunday and they had no service employees there that day. We have received NO apology, etc from them. Instead, rudeness, condescension, and just blatant disrespect of being ignored. The car NEVER should've been sold to us in October AND they NEVER should've allowed us to drive it off their lot after the 2nd recall was announced. They obviously do not care about their customers. I gave the buying process a 5 because we brought our own financing to the table. I absolutely DO NOT recommend them. I DO recommend Haselwood in Bremerton. They handled the repairs and were honest and up front with us the whole time.

I would not recommend this dealer.
