Wasn't in the market, but drove a new Highlander home!

I was contacted by Groove Toyota to see if I might be interested in trading the 2017 Highlander I bought there in March, 2017, for a new 2019. Although I wasn't considering a trade at the time, I decided to go talk to Johnny Salazar, my salesperson from before. After he worked up some great numbers on my trade-in, I ended up driving a new 2019 Highlander XLE home! What a great deal, super people, wonderful treatment I received at Groove Toyota. I recommend them without hesitation.

GLAD TO BE BACK

WELL WE ARE BACK TO TOYOTA and the people at Groove Toyota picked up right where we left off over 5 years ago with service and an level of professionalism I have not experiences or received from any other dealership, which has been A LOT, over those last years. Have been driving a number of the premium Germany brands and finally had enough of the reliability issues and the other issues that come with dealing with those dealerships. From the minute i walked back into Groove Toyota I was treated like a family member from every person that I came in contact with. I need to acknowledge Brook Peterson for his outstanding job as GM and making sure the entire staff of the dealership is at the top of their jobs. The three people that made the process so seamless were Ben, Jose, and Johnny. Can't imagine going to any other dealership for the fact they all made the experience VERY SPECIAL !!! Thanks again and glad to be back.

Repair sunroof operation

Tim Manley, Service Advisor, and Brian Cobain, Tech, did a super job of diagnosis, then repair. I was very concerned, as the vehicle is near-new and in perfect condition. Needed new tracks and new motor, repair went great, and all looks new .... thank you for great 6 star service !!!

innovative and fresh

So I first bought a 4Runner from Zach Vose in 2015 when the Air Force sent me to Colorado. To be honest - I dread the process. I actually went to a Toyota dealership closer to Buckley AFB and walked out when the salesperson played that game (you know - "I need to talk to my manager"). I went to Groove and stumbled upon Zach and he was refreshingly not your stereotypical salesperson. Since 2015, I referred my adult daughter to Zach and she also had an exceptional experience buying a car and NOT being held captive by a salesperson and "management." Today, I bought another new vehicle (RAV4) from Zach. Take it from this old Active Duty Air Force Chaplain -- he is good and honest and knows his business. He is fair and likable. I highly recommend Groove Toyota because they are wise enough to employ people like Zach Vose.

Rude sales people

Got a internet quote and had 4 different people blow up my phone and email. They must have given my information to other employees to call me. They call you like creditors and prices are super high. Feels like they try and xxxx you to say yes. Steer away from this dealership.

Groove Toyota Tries To Rip Off Senior:BAIT and SWITCH.

Miguel tried to finance me a car I did ask for. The Bait and Switch. I wanted the used 2009 Highlander that I took for a test drive. Miguel financed a 2012 vehicle that I never saw. He said he thought it would be better for me( without asking me). He wouldn’t tell me how much my trade in was before the financing. He said he didn’t know that GROOVE TOYOTA wouldn’t finance the 2009 Highlander. He should have known this before he tried to finance a car for me, that was double the price of the 2006 Highlander, AND HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS BEFORE I TOOK THE 2006 Highlander FOR A TEST Drive. GROOVE TOYOTA does the BAIT AND SWITCH. Groove Toyota RIPS SENIORS OFF..

Financing - liars

Bought a car on a weekend. My credit is questionable - at best. 3 weeks go by (possibly more). They called telling me they will have a banker there on a Sat. (the next day) to go over what they can do to get the car financed. He gives me a song and dance and raises the monthly payment $10 but also raises the interest rate 10%. He gives me a 'coupon' for the first month payment so I'll have the first month 'free'. When I get home I don't have the coupon - I had it in my hands at the dealership. He said a few times 'your payment will be in Feb. 2019' as I was holding the coupon. At home - with no coupon - call his company credit acceptance and was told 'We don't do that - we don't offer a month off (no payment)' I said 'Well a guy who works for you DID do that so he needs to be educated' she said 'I don't know why he would do that - give you that' i said 'of course to sell a car' Very shady. I would never recommend anyone shop there.

Drop the ball again please...

First let me say thank you to the sales guy Mason Schuster, he was great to work with and provided great service. Additionally the front desk CSRs, they were the most help through this process. They get the star. Now Let me tell you why they get 1 star over all. It is not the sales, it is management and finance that will screw the deal you sign for. Why? I closed my deal September 19/20th, The financing did not go through till mid/end October. I wanted to finance through my bank, they said have a check here by 48 hours. Banks do not generally operate on weekends. So I told them to push the deal through and I would refinance it with my bank. Did they listen, no. 2 weeks go by and nothing, so I called to check. They need the information I had already given them when I closed the deal. Now I have a late fee, and a payment due on the truck I traded in. Another week goes by and still nothing. I call again, now irritated that things are costing me additional money, "Oh we will get it taken care of. Well that still did not happen, I ended up having to make an additional payment on the trade in, They assured me I would get that money back. Yes, just the principle portion, not the interest, that was 123 bucks. Now we go forward another week, where the deal was finally funded and I could start the refinance to get out of this nightmare. Originally my deal was set at $650 a month, after the lack of follow through, and refinancing at even a lower rate my payments are $670. Why, because refinancing cost money when not done in a timely manner..... Now that was finance dropping the ball over and over. Next we go to the DMV 11 days before the temp registration is up. I wait for 2 hours to get told the dealership has not sent over any information. Now I am officially irate, at the incompetence of this company. I head to the dealership right after, and speak to Jose, who tells me the DMV had a software update and that is why, come back when they expire and we will get you new temp tags. Now I do NOT like being lied to, nor is that the way management should console a pissed off customer. How do I know that was a lie? I go down today to get the temp tags, and they do not have a copy of my driver license, and the paperwork was NEVER submitted.... They were given a copy at the deal, and once again drop the ball. Why didn't they look further into it when I came back the first time? Additionally the same month I bought the new truck and traded in my Titan, I had just renewed the Titan's registration. I am currently losing money every day I cannot register the new truck to carry over the prior registration I paid for. I will not be able to register the new truck till January, that I bought in September. I can almost guarantee they drop the ball a fifth or sixth time. If I could break their contract and get my Titan back they now have displayed on the front entrance. I would in a heartbeat. The saddest part of this, the people who apologized to me, were the front desk. They were the best at helping. Sales was great, but finance, and management are absolutely incompetent, and did not own up to their mistakes, and lied to me. They additionally did not offer anything to help in regards to them dropping the ball over and over. I have always purchased Nissan before, and buy a new truck once a year. I will NEVER buy from this place in the future, nor would I encourage anyone else to do so.

My check engine light comes on my 2005 4 Runner and it has 180,000 miles on it. I spent $500 for a check-up, oil change and a resurface on the right front brake and they turn off the light. Then they hand me a wish list for 7 more items a 2 that had already been done in the amount of $3700 along with the statement that if your check engine light coming back on it could cost an additional $3700. Well... the check engine light did come back on and I called them 2 twice to get a written quote for that additional cost and no one will send me one or call me back to tell me what this additional cost includes.

Sales person non workable and lies

Worst car buying experience ever. Salesman was non workable and lies right to my face. Paperwork mess up that is costing me at least 3 hours of my time. Car has a really pitted windshield. Said not a hazard so there is nothing they could do. It is a hazard when driving into the sun and you can't see due to all the pitts. Asked for a couple of hundred off the price. Always no.

The service person didn't seem to know how long it took to have rear brakes done. He told me 2 to 3 hours. I waited 4 hours how frustrating. They also didn't explain the coupon correctly. Ver disappointed!!

Hello! About six months ago I came to this location and purchased a vehicle. Now the car needs Thousands of dollars worth of repairs done to it. I called them to see if the car was under warranty and what they could do to help and basically was given the cold shoulder. A man named Dennis said "there is nothing we can do for you". The least they could have done was service the Lemon they sold me at a discounted price. I am a single mother, I already struggle to make ends meet. Now, not only do I have to stress about everyday life but I have to figure out how to come up more than a couple thousand dollars to fix a car. I feel like I was given the xxxx end of a stick. These people do not care about you or what happens to you. They only car about how they are benefiting from you. They got their money from me and now I am unimportant. When I walked into the place everyone was nice and eager to help. This same value and customer service should be given even after the deal has been made! So thank you groove Toyota. Because of you I am taking away from my family to fix this xxxxx. you sold me. My heart feels so heavy. I can't not even begin to express the betrayal I feel. :( P.s. i wouldn't even give you one star if I didn't have to. DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR LOT.These people have no hearts. They are a selfish, money hungry company!.

Not Willing to Work with Past Customers

We went in today after getting a call to come back just to be told "you should lease instead," and rudely dismissed out by Larry. We recently purchased a smaller commuter type vehicle 6 months ago for my husbands long commute to Longmont from Denver. He is a brewer and recently found a job closer to our home in Denver. So, we wanted to trade in the vehicle we just bought, for a truck (2005 Tacoma). Well, they low balled us on the trade in and offered $6k LESS than what we bought the car for 6 months ago. We couldn't believe this.. That's $1k a month in depreciation. My husband has barely even been putting miles on the vehicle since his work is a couple miles from our house. The sales person "Larry" we were working with came out and said "This isn't the car for you... You should lease." When we said "no, we dont want to lease," he handed us our paperwork and said goodbye. We couldnt believe how rude and unaccommodating Groove Toyota was being. They didn't even try to negotiate with us. Especially since we have bought our last 3 vehicles from them over the past 3 years. We will not be working with any Groove dealerships from now on. I would also like to add that I brought in a snack for my husband to eat, since he had to go to work after the appointment, and Larry made us feel very uncomfortable for brining in food. He wouldn't even shake my hand and made the greeting very awkward... All around embarrassing and disrespectful way to treat customers.

Lied and Lied

Pretty simple - Hamid specifically told me a price in text for a new 4runner. When I drove all the way there, they suddenly couldn't offer that price. He was lying just get me in the door knowing I had driven all the way there, and then would not keep his word on the price. I knew Groove had a bad reputation, but should have known better than to fall for his tricks. Never again.
