I’ve always had my 2012 Acura TL serviced at the now-named Hendrick Acura Southpoint. The service consultants are unfailingly approachable, responsive, knowledgeable and professional—particularly my fave, Andrew Gloc. I love the new location, too!

Best dealership around drove 50 miles to buy my RDX Steve gave me the best deal within 100+ mile radius, easy buying experience, very knowledgeable sales staff that took the time to ensure we understood all the features our new RDX had to offer, couldn't have been better, ask for Edgar best salesman ever you won't find a better one. Service of 2012 TL

Recently had our 2012 TL in for servicing at Hendrick Acura Southpoint in Durham, NC (formerly Performance Acura of Chapel Hill). First, the new location is FANTASTIC, so much bigger and nicer. Service Advisor was George Christon and George is the best. Very thorough, provides estimated pricing based on servicing requested/needed and follows up throughout the process, including multi-point inspection results and recommendations/pricing of additional work, if inspection so indicated. We've been using this dealership to service our Acuras since moving to NC 9 years ago and couldn't be happier. We recently upgraded our 2008 MDX to a 2018 MDX and had an equally positive and pleasant experience with the Sales team. ABSOLUTELY A 5-STAR DEALERSHIP in my opinion.

Very professional!

I took my 2017 MDX for a oil change and it was a very good experience. I made an appointment but ended up changing 3 times and they were happy to change it. I dropped my vehicle off and pickedup when ready. Bill the shuttle driver was professional as well. We had good social conversation both ways. Joel, the service specialist was very courteous and professional. They wanted my SUV and also vacuumed it. 5 * ask around and their new facility is very nice! I bought my MDX from them last year when they setin chapel hill.

Best Car Buying Experience Ever!

My husband and I had been shopping for the right SUV for me when we called to inquire by the RDX. We worked with Chanel who greated us with a smile and treated us like family. She was patient and not pushy. She never rushed us to make a choice. When I realized that the SUV I wanted was in another location, Chanel provided us with a comfortable spot and refreshments and went to get that very vehicle. When decision time came for us we purchased a RDX for me and another for my husband.

Service Price Gouging

Price Gouging: They charged >$400 in labor alone to install front and rear break pads (that’s after I negotiated down). The manger stated that this process requires 1 mechanic 2 hours to complete. Yep - that’s >$200/hr for break pad installation. In the event you do go with these guys, I would negotiate on service prices...given their ridiculous markup, I wouldn’t accept any list price.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Replaced battery without an appointment

I've brought both of our Acuras to Performance for various services and they have always been professional, courteous and effective with resolving all problems. I feel they provide great service at a good value and feel they are looking out for me as the customer. Rip off with inspection!!!

John Prillemann, has the worse customer service, I was in for oil change and state inspection, ok, inspection is 30 dollars, well, because I had 3 bulbs out it ended up costing me 30 plus another 100 dollars for the 3 bulbs and labor,l. I've had inspection at other dealerships before and if you needed a bulb, they only charged me for the bulb, never have I ever had to pay for labor and sure not 100 dollars, Then when I expressed my concerns about the cost, John implied that I wanted it for free, which I feel was a racist comment because I'm an African American female, he wouldn't never implied such to a Caucasian female, and yes I called him on it, and Im asking other African American to stop going to this dealership because they are racist, and I only saw 1 middle aged African American man working out of 20 people I saw working today, so please go get service or buy your car some where else

I have an MDX and I also convinced my wife to purchase a used TSX last year. My enticement was to offer to take her car in for all its needed service. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service I have received at this dealership over the past few years since I have lived in NC. The people there are always courteous and professional. Even when a couple of things were not corrected the first time, they have shown that they truly care about following through until it gets done right.
