Poor Communication & Kept Deposit

After test driving one of their cars, my wife placed a $500 deposit on the car after being pressured by the salesman that "other people were interested in the car". The following day she discovered that our low interest rate auto loan required she purchase a 1 year newer vehicle than the one she drove and placed a deposit on. After explaining the situation to the salesman and the sales manager, the sales manager indicated he would need to ask the general manager and would call me back. After 7 hours of not getting a call back from the sales manager, I called the dealership back. I was told the sales manager was busy and would call me back. As I suspected, by the time the dealership closed, I never received a call back. I cannot believe they would keep my wife's deposit due to an honest mistake on her part, and really cannot believe they did not have the courtesy of returning my phone calls! I suggest using other car dealers in the Maryville/Knoxville TN area. There are many more who have lower prices for comparable vehicles and have MUCH BETTER customer service! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!

I would not recommend this dealer.
