Great customer service and waiting area

I lease and every time I come in for service everyone is very friendly. The waiting area is nice and I tend to work while I am waiting so it is great that there are tables away from the TV area.

Sparkling facility, extremely personal attention. Randy and Taylor, Service Managers, listened carefully, performed superior service, and patiently explained technical details in easy to understand language. I highly recommend Hiland Toyota for all of your service questions or needs. While waiting in the comfortable lounge, eating Panera pastry, I spoke with sales rep John Augustine. I would definitely buy a car through John.

I came to the dealership for one vehicle in particular. Dave gave me to time to look at the car without any pitch or hassle even knowing that I intended to test drive at other dealerships. When I decided that my choice was with Hiland, the staff worked quickly to get me a great financing deal and had me all ready to sign and drive by the time I returned to the dealership. It was perhaps the easiest auto transaction I have ever had.

Great sales people & great service dept

I have purchased 4 vehicles from Hiland and will not go anywhere else if & when I decide to buy another new vehicle. I like the people I have dealt with in the service dept. I have never had a problem with anyone in the sales dept. I have in the past shopped around and know for certain I am getting the best deals at Hiland.

Bought new 17 Tacoma. Window rattled from day one. In Hiland shop over 6 times in the past 13 months. There was no fix from Hiland. Hiland Toyota service manager told me that it was just the nature of the Beast. Hiland General manager asked me to promise him I wouldn't show up with a gun. Who talks that way to customers. Smart Toyota fixed my window the very first time. Smart Toyota treated me with the utmost respect. Thanks to all from smart Toyota that helped me.

Bad service

I just want to let Joe in repair service and the service manager know that ur service is NO LONGER REQUIRED! I came to get heater fixed and Joe the service man told me I just need to turn the button on high and not touch auto or sync! Joe is NOT a repair man! My car didnt get cked second time and Joe asked if I felt comfortable backing out! I was so mad that they didnt xx it I backed out and hit the post in the garage! Talked to service manager! Wouldn't xx further if did more detail would cost! I just bought the car in March or April and a warranty and extended warranty but service man didnt feel it warranted that! So I called Smart Toyota to get appt! My heat was on for a half hour and not even warm! They cked and I have heat at 74 or 76 now!! I bought 3 Rav 4s from Highland and respect should come with the service! Joe is a service person and should have put it in for repair!! Its ok! Because I am going American made! Also to a dealer that wants my business and return business! Which u will no longer get because of your service person and service manager! I referred people to u and have called and told people to go to Smart or buy a Fird or Chevy!!

Commissions over Customers!

Dealership cares more about their commissions than their customers. Buyers beware! Once they have your money, they lose your name and number! High pressure sales in order to close a deal fast in the middle of the week. After ONE day of driving, finding that the ergonomics of the car caused back and neck pain due to osteoarthritis/osteoporosis. Sent email and left 3 voice mail messages for Finance Manager and General Manager. Called the Salesman who said too bad, and wondered what I was going to do now and offered no solution or options. He advised Finance manager would not be in until 11 am. By 12:30 pm I still had not been contacted by anyone from the dealership. Called again, asked if GM was in and told he was out for the day. Then why put me through to his voice mail? Finally put me through to Finance manager who said to come in next morning. Went in later that day, found out GM would not be in until middle of following week! Ultimate response, you drove it off the lot, it is your car! We are not in the business of returning cars! Sorry your hurting but that is your problem! Well, the dealership down the road took care of me and my credit union, insurance agency, coworkers, family, and friends all are aware of the circumstances. And so will many others!

Buyer Beware

I purchased a used Toyota Tacoma which this dealership put a new frame under.In 3 weeks time ball joints need replaced as well as a wheel bearing.The roof of the truck has rust which they tried to hide with black car polish the bill for repaint of the roof is $1800.00.They should be ashamed of themselves for selling vehicles like this.Never ever buy anything from them they will definitely screw you.

I have always had positive experiences at Hiland. We've bought 4 years from them, and could not be more pleased. John Augustine and Gene are such nice sales people--no pushiness, which is a turn off to me. Joe Eckman is a great service person. I am always treated well.

Untrustworthy

I’ve been a loyal Toyota customer for 50 years owning 20 Toyota and Lexus cars over the years. The cars have been great as has my dealer experience - until now. We’ve purchased 4 cars ($120,000) recently from Hiland Toyota. We were planning to buy a used car for one of our family. We Selected a car from Hiland’s inventory, met with a salesman to commit to buy it, offered a deposit to hold it until our nephew arrived (the following morning). The salesman refused a deposit saying “I’ll take the keys and hide it on the back lot”. Just before our nephew arrived (less than 12 hours from my commitment to buy and the saleman’s Commitment to sell, I get a call from the salesman saying the car had sold. I understand contract and dealership law and the importance of consideration but I also understand ethics. Hiland demonstrated that it is an unethical, untrustworthy dealer. We will buy another used car for my nephew and buy and service all of our future Toyota’s elsewhere.

I would not recommend this dealer.
