Ok dealer

Had some issues but they were resolved by the GM! Make sure to do your homework and not make a quick decision when making a large purchase. I just wished I slowed down and took my time and checked the used car out better on the inside and outside before buying it. In the end it all worked out thanks to the GM.

Awesome Salespeople

I am from MA. I recently purchased a used 2016 Toyota Camry SE from Hoffman Toyota in West Simsbury, CT after visiting multiple Toyota dealers throughout MA. All I can say is the experience at Hoffman was night and day compared to other Toyota dealers. My salesman was Patrick Pantalone. He was upfront, honest, professional and very knowledgeable about all the vehicles which were of interest to me. I can say with the greatest of confidence that my next Toyota will also be purchased from Hoffman Toyota. Excellent Customer Service - A cut above the rest. .

Car maintenance

Took my 2017 Camry for the 1st maintenance which was for tire rotation. Was disappointed because my appointment was for 12 noon and didn't get out till 1:50. Not quite sure why I had an appointment.

Fantastic Service

I brought my 2016 TRD Pro 4Runner in for service at Hoffman because I was getting sub-par service from the Toyota dealer I purchased the vehicle from. The service adviser personally made sure the work was done by "Brian" who is a very knowledgeable service tech really knows this vehicle inside and out. After speaking with Brian I am 100% confident his work would always be done correctly. After picking up my vehicle and inspecting the work that was done, I had zero issues.

I had brought our sienna in for servicing on a regular basis and was pleased with how all issues were handled. When we purchased a camry there was no other place that I would think to bring the car to for servicing. I always ask for Mike Fitzgerald. He always has a smile and asks what he can do to help. He is a genuine, honest and patient. I don't mind coming in and waiting for the car to be serviced because I know it will be done properly with Mike overseeing everything.

Easy peasy

Scheduled online-- only took a few minutes and it was very user friendly. Drove into the service bay and was checked in right away. The service was supposed to be about an hour so I waited-- it only took about 35 minutes and we were out the door. Very good experience from start to finish.

Mike Fitzgerald has been my "go to" guy for a number of years. He treats me like I am a member of the family. He listens well and keeps me informed. He offers me advice in terms of the mechanical problems are as well as what my options are as far as what needs to be done and the costs. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Great Sales Rep!

My husband and I came in to window shop for a Toyota Prius Prime. While we were in the market for a new car, we didn't need to buy that day. John Rossley took the time to speak with us about our needs and told us about a $2,500 Toyota rebate. After going home to think about it (and - frankly - to comparison shop), we came back a few days later and placed our order. During the time between placing the order and its delivery, the rebate was increased to $3,500. What a nice surprise when we came to pick up our new car!

Great Service

It was time for my first service on my newly leased vehicle and Mike Fitzgerald went above and beyond during my service. He was extremely respectful, flexible and accommodating to all of my needs. He always provides me with helpful feedback about my vehicle and points me in the right direction of what needs to happen next. Mike cares about all of his customers and shows it through frequent communication to make sure everything went well and checking in to ensure that the customer is completely satisfied with the service. Because of Mike Fitzgerald and the amazing service he provides, I will never choose another dealership for future vehicles.

New Car Purchase

Jesus knew all the answers and made the whole process a breeze. All questions had answers and he had time to walk me through every paper, button, and dial. Awesome dude! I was ready to sign papers for hours, but Mike works at lightening speed and doesn't try to sell useless add ons.

Horrible service experience

I asked service to quote me for my wheel bearing. They told me I had to pay $120 for a diagnosis even though I already knew the wheel bearing was the issue. When they confirmed it was the wheel bearing they told me I only had to pay $60 for the diagnosis. When I saw my bill they added in an $8 charge for parts... there shouldnt be a parts fee in a diagnosis. They then told me it would be almost $1000 for the wheel bearing (labor not included). When I said no that was way too expensive they told me thats what Lexus parts cost. I told them that was not true and I could find the part way cheaper at autozone and I was not interested. At that point they said they could offer me an aftermarket wheel bearing for $650. (Labor not included). I said that was still way too much and that I would do the work myself. I ended up buying a new aftermarket MOOG wheel bearing from advanced autoparts for $175. The labor to put it on only took one hour so I had a mechanic elsewhere do it for $70. Hoffman toyota wanted to charge me $1400 for the wheel bearing and labor not including a $120 diagnosis fee. All that is just the financial reason you cant trust them. They also messed up my car. When I left after my diagnosis had been done, not even a hour later my check engine light came on, my vsc light, and my traction light. My car started sputtering and NONE of this ever happened before I brought the car to the shop. When I returned immedietly after this began happening on the same day I had picked the cat up, service told me they needed to charge me another diagnosis fee to look at it and that it must have just magically happened and had nothing to do with them. I am extremely frustrated with them. When I asked to speak to the manager he said there was nothing he could do and he reminded me that they charged me half for the diagnostic fee, as if that was more than I deserved. I feel taken advantage of and I also feel like they were doing anything they could to try and make money. There was no concern for the customer. I would never go to service there again. The hoffman body shop though, is wonderful. They did a wonderful job in a quick amount of time and I was extremely satisfied. Everyone there was great and friendly and helpful.

We came to Hoffman to purchase a 4Runner because we had had such a great experience buying our Tacoma from them. We were not disappointed the second time either. Julio and his team didn't play games with the price and worked hard to get us the exact vehicle we wanted. Next time we buy a Toyota (maybe an FRS next??), we'll go to Hoffman again for sure.

Timely service!

For the 120,000 service - I needed to have it done in 90 minutes because of an important work meeting, and it was (didn't need spark plugs because they were all replaced 6 months earlier)

ABS light

After some hours techs unable to correct problem. My bill was slightly over $400.00. They suggest that when the light comes on again I should return. It seems that the light must be lit for diagnostics to evaluate source of problem. Techs were truly alert for this problem since my last visit when truck accelerated full throttle on Rt. 4 and had to push brake quite hard to hold truck from running away and put in neutral Tony DiGrazia Mike Fitzgerald Mgr.

Great friendly service - simple as that!

I'm always wary of having to play the "sales game" when going to look at a new car. I appreciate that they are in business to sell cars but the high pressure sales approach gets me moving on to the next dealer pretty quickly. There was none of that here. From the moment Amaury greeted me, to the moment I was driving off in my new car it was all very low pressure and more focused on what I wanted and ensuring the car I was picking worked for me. Would definitely recommend these guys.

I cannot believe how easy it was to lease our new car. My car died, I went in and spoke to Jose. We worked the numbers super fast and easy (James was so wonderful), signed a couple forms (thank you Mike), picked the car and drove away! What an amazing experience. Thank you so much! I love my new Rav 4!
