What a wonderful buying experience we had at Holmes Honda. We received such a warm and friendly welcome from EVERYONE!!! The salesman, John Young was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we purchased and very personal!... Moriah with the insurance dept. was so nice by calling OUR insurance company and had our insurance transferred for us ... Lane in financing was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know, Lauren, was our first experience with Holmes Honda via telephone and was an absolute delight!!! delay in getting car repaired and false information

I took my car to Holmes Collision Repair with moderate damage to left front area and bumper. I was told it would take two weeks to repair. I did not have car rental coverage and had to rent a car for$35.00/day. A month later I still did not have my car. I called several times and was given estimated times it would be ready, only to have it not happen. I told the shop manager, Butch, that I was paying for my rental myself and it was getting expensive. He said he would try to speed it up. That did not happen. I was getting irritated and called again and talked to Butch. I let him know what was on my mind. The next week my car was ready (after a month) and I accrued $1,200 in car rental fees. When I got home,I found that my windshield washer did not work. When I filled the reservoir the water ran on the ground. I took my car back to Holmes and talked to a new manager. Butch no longer worked there. He took it to the shop and told me it was not the hoses, but that. The water in the reservoir had probably frozen and cracked the housing. Iasked how that could happen since we have no freezing weather and the car was in their shop, He said he could order the part and install it but I would have to pay for it as it was not damaged in the wreck. He said they would have to remove the bumper to fix it. I took the car to Summer Grove Auto and removed the right front tire and wheel well. There was no damage to the reservoir. One of the two hoses (one for windshield and one fot rear window) on the resouvir was not attached. The mechanic filled the reservoir with water and the windshield washer now works great. It cost me $50. To get it fixed. My experience with Holmes Honda collision repair was a nightmare. It cost me a lot of stress and $. I would not recommend them to anyone. I certainly will never use them again. Let me add that I bought my Honda CRV five years ago and have been using the Holmes Honda service department for my oil changes and other maintenance work. I have received excellent service from the service department and have no complaints about them at all. I will continue to use their service department as long as I continue to receive the excellent service I have received in the past. My complaint is strictly with the body repair shop.

Hat's off to Adam Broden, Bo Free and Danica Tanner. All three are professionals, I felt like I was in good hands. Adam and Bo spent two days with me making sure this sale went on without a hitch. They were so kind as to pick me up and take me to the dealership. Danica made sure my insurance passed her standards. Had a great experience and will highly recommend this crew to anyone.

Horrible Service Department - Voids Warranty

Took my 2016 Honda Accord in after a CEL came on. They broke down my engine without being authorized at all. Blamed a KNOWN ISSUE with VCM/VTEC on me. Refused to put the car back together without being paid. Stated would void my warranty if I took the car elsewhere to get repaired, even another Honda Service Department. DO NOT BUY HONDA, DO NOT GET SERVICE HERE. I have been a long time supporter of Honda, even after being warned about their tendency to deny warranty claims on engine issues - despite being sued successfully for VCM issues and denying claims.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great service department

We live in Dallas, TX and were driving to Florida for spring break. Our alternator went out on our 2008 Odyssey (140,000+ miles!) about 30 outside of Shreveport. After a tow from AAA, our Odyssey spent the night at Holmes Honda and in less than 24 hours, we were once again on our way to Florida. Peter Schilling was our service advisor and was excellent. The waiting area is large, comfortable, and very clean. Sodas, snacks, coffee, water all complementary. WiFi great plus some desktop computers available if you need to log in and don't have a laptop. Magazines and newspapers all current. Clean restrooms. Was also able to speak with a sales advisor, Karen Barnes, who spent time discussing the 2017 and 2018 Odysseys. Even though she knew we lived in Dallas and were just passing through, she spent time with us and gave us new model information.

Customer service at its best

I went to Holmes Honda looking to purchase a 2011 BMW that I saw online and ended up buying a 2017 Honda Accord sport thanks to my salesman John Young. He was nice, respectful, professional, and most importantly very knowledgeable about the product I was looking to purchase. The buying process was a little lengthy due to addition things the dealership kept requesting that I bring in. Overall John Young made sure that this lengthy process ran as smooth as possible. I never once had to contact him. He contacted me daily to update me on where we were in the process and made sure that any concerns I had were taken care of. Also Eugene Boyd played a major role in closing this deal as well. I was ready to walk away from my car deal because the money they wanted me to put down and the interest rate I was given were beyond ridiculous in my eyes and I didn't actually need a car I just wanted a new one. Eugene Boyd stepped in and he was able to get me the lowest possible interest rate and down payment. These are two very professional gentlemen who will go above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of their customers and because of their level of professionalism I am happy to say that I am a customer of Holmes Honda. Ask for John Young and he will treat you the way I was treated. Good luck and buy Honda!

Awesome experience!

My wife and I came in to look at the Honda Pilot. Ronnie Adams met us in the parking and asked us what we were looking for in a vehicle. I told him what we were looking for and he got the keys and said, let's go for a drive. He never tried to pressure us into buying the car which was great. I hate it when some dealers make you feel like you have to get the car today. We took the car for a drive and then came in and talked payments and what options we wanted. We told him what we wanted to pay and agreed on the payment pretty quickly. He said it may take a few days to get the car I wanted. Within a few days my car was there. I came in and picked it up. The process was pretty quick. Mr. Adams took the time to get my car washed and filled up with with gas. He also went over the car in detail before I left. He was very helpful. He did an outstanding job! I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking to buy a Honda in the future.

Beyond Excellent!!!

I was referred to Salesman John Young by a good friend of mine. I contacted Mr. Young by telephone. It was just ten minutes before closing on a Friday and Mr. Young told me to come and see him anyway. Upon my arrival, he greeted me as if he had already known me. The business itself was fabulous. Mr. Young listened to my wants and needs and took my information to get the process started. Although, it was near closing time, Mr. Young still took care of me and build that rapport. He was extremely knowledgable of the product I was particularly interested in. I was able to take the vehicle home for the weekend and fell in love with it. By Monday before close of business, I left with my new Honda Accord Sport. Mr. Young and the financial team were very professional with me and I truly thank them for making me feel like a real customer and not just trying to sale.

Sales "Professional" Not "Professional" at all

This was without a doubt one of my worst buying experiences ever. Had I gotten a different sales "professional", I'm sure it would have been a much better outcome. In my opinion, a "professional" does not touch his customers. He does not make remarks that could be taken in a negative way and he does not try to demean you and make you look as though you have no idea of what is going on. I did not want a vehicle with leather seats for my own personal reasons. I sat in a vehicle with leather interior because it was the only ones of that model that they had according to Ronnie Adams. He sat on the passenger side and rubbed the arm of my leather jacket and said you don't like leather seats but you like leather jackets. Then he proceeded to ask me if I didn't like the leather seats because I wear shorts and skirts. I said yes I don't like having to cover the seats and then I got out of the vehicle because at this point I was feeling very uncomfortable. When he was giving me his "good" deal on the vehicle and my trade, I was totally set back by his lack of respect of me and in thinking that I would not know any better than to accept what he was trying to present to me. My vehicle is not by any means ragged out, yet he was offering me the trade price of a vehicle that would not be considered as even in good condition. I can understand that they can only allow so much on a new vehicle but his offer was in no way appealing or even decent enough to be considered and the way he talked to me was humiliating. I told him I was going to be shopping other dealerships as well and he proceeded to talk down the vehicles that I had planned to look at. I told him they were not the only dealership out there and I would be looking elsewhere. I had to ask him to get my keys 3 times before he got them for me. I will not be going back to this dealership. I did receive a call from customer service asking about my experience there and I told her about it. She had the General Sales Manager to call me and I explained to him that this was in no way a pleasant experience. Also, I'm wondering why the other reviews that were less than favorable are no longer on the site. I know personally of one review that was apparently removed. These reviews will be posted in other places. People read the reviews for a reason and they want to see the bad as well as the good.

I purchased my 2016 Honda Civic last year and have loved it! I had the best salesman, Ronnie Adams, whom was very professional and knowledgeable of the Honda models and features. After purchasing my car, Ronnie checked in on me from time to time to make sure I was still enjoying my vehicle as well as further discussions of making a purchase for another vehicle for my fiance. Unfortunately, I recently was involved in a car accident in my Civic and Ronnie even took time out of his day to make sure I was ok and offer any help he could during my situation. That is absolutely what you call 100% customer satisfaction. Holmes is filled with many great people and I continuously send people to Ronnie and the dealership for all their vehicle purchase and service needs.

Karen Barnes was my sales person..she is such a great person..good personality...I got a good deal on my HRV..red at that..I was treated right.....told them up front what kind of note I needed and I got it!! Karen was very thorough with the few cars I drove..pointed out everything before we left the parking spot..I love my Honda and I would refer my friends to visit Homes Honda!!! I love my RED HRV!!!

Trading in my car at Holmes Honda was a great experience! AJ Miller helped me out so much, breaking everything down in detail. He had answers to ALL of my questions. Made me feel comfortable throughout the process and has even checked in with me after to be sure I'm still happy! He was extremely helpful. Ali, the lady who handles the insurance, also made things so easy on me. Christopher handled the finance part nicely, I am just thankful for Holmes Honda and all of the customer service they provided me. AJ is very thorough, I would highly suggest going to him for all of your car questions and concerns!
