Hudiburg Subaru surpassed all of my hopes for a great place to shop for a new car. The service was consistently stellar. Everyone who served me demonstrated knowledge, expertise and patience. My salesman, Ryan Bhuvasorakul (Paco), was energetic and fun to work with, while holding endless patience with my many questions and test drives. I drove away happy in my 2017 Forester!

They wrecked my less than 2 year old car and didn’t repair i

They promised that after the repairs, the car would be at the same condition as it did before the wreck or better, and that they take pride in what they do and will not cut corners to fix their mistakes. They repeated that statement to me three times or more, I figured since they promised, I can take that as a verbal contract if they cannot deliver their promise. After the repairs, I noticed the paint on driver side quarter panel and the bumper has a mismatch of about 5%, the passenger side has a mismatch of about 15%, and the gaps between the quarter panel and bumper were also different on both sides. I pointed this out to them. They were able to see the imperfections. They said there is nothing more they can do fix this and that they have done their best. I think they were trying to cut corners and save a little money. They were trying to show me new cars on the lot that all cars will have a slight mismatch between plastic parts and metal parts. That is fact that I understand and I fully support it, but that wasn’t my point. My point was, if you can make one side have a mismatch of 5%, I’m sure you can make the other side have a mismatch close to 5% as well. They didn’t even want to tell me much about what they did to repair the damages. They just told me that they replaced the bumper and painted the bumper. They didn’t say anything about repainting the quarter panel. I know they did because the scratch on the quarter panel caused by the wreck was gone, and there were paint dust all along the edge of the panel they painted. There isn’t any paint dust on the other side’s panel. This tells me that they only repainted the quarter panel on the driver side only. Hence, the mismatch on both sides are so different. I even noticed tape marks on the bumper and the diffuser. Which tells me that they didn’t take out the diffuser before painting the bumper. After an hour of back and forth debating about the issue, they only offer me $200 for all this. I was thinking to myself, $200???? Are you serious? I have waited to buy a car of such characteristics for more than 10 years. I tried my best to take care of it. Not putting loads of miles on it, not driving it hard, regular maintenance, and regular washes. Then they wreck my car? And not fixing it properly like they should? Then only offering me $200??? Just the diminish value of the car due to the wreck and improper repairs should already be over $2000. They should also have pay me to have my car fixed to my expectation by another shop, and all the inconvenience and distress this has cause me. Being a car enthusiast, having a car that you have been waiting for so long, and taking such care of it, just to have someone else wreck your car and not fixing it correctly is like you married the girl of your dreams then someone violates her. It is a pain that is indescribable and stressful. So, if anyone who loves their car, or is worried that something might happen to their car. I suggest you stay away from these guys.

The right product for a competitive price

The first reason I am giving a good rating to this dealership is that they had the car I wanted. The other dealerships I researched did not want to bother stocking a basic model of Subaru Forester. For those of us who are trying to stay inside a limited budget and live within our means, it is difficult to find a vehicle without a lot of expensive options packages. The second reason for a good rating is the competence, knowledge and efficiency shown by both the salesman and the finance person. They answered my questions without wasting a lot of time. When I made the decision to buy, they were able to do the paperwork efficiently and well. When we took delivery of the car, the salesman gave us a short but thorough run through of the most necessary features and how to operate them.

Upfront honest and transparent

There is a certain stigmatism attached to any new car dealership however I can sincerely say I did not experience that stigmatism with this location. Our salesman Steven Tei, was polite knowledgeable and not the least bit pushy at all which I greatly appreciated! To be perfectly honest the whole experience exceeded my expectation. Additionally the general sales manager Darcy was incredibly helpful and super polite he is a very busy man and not always easy to get a hold of but I can see why now after meeting him! He is incredibly helpful, and operates with integrity. Even Jamar in finance was incredibly personable and did not try to push any additional warranties or services after I clearly stated no interest which I greatly appreciated. I personally have owned over 26 vehicles and have never had such a pleasant and easy car buying experience such as this one! Thank you Hudiburg and staff!

Great overall experience with this dealer! Our sales consultant was knowledgeable and helpful. We had an idea of the car we wanted, but our consultant helped explain many of the features we were looking for and why they were beneficial. We felt well taken care of and that the pricing was very fair. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I enjoyed my buying experience. My sales representative, Steven, was extremely helpful and thorough. He went over all the features of my car in depth and answered all of my questions. The sales manager, Adam, was great in getting me the best deal and worked with me when I wanted to make changes. My family has purchased two vehicles from him in the past. First Subaru experience

Overall, great experience! All car buying seems to take a while but this process went fairly quick (only half my day!). The only thing I would improve on is setting up better expectations when going through the finance department. Each associate was knowledgeable and kind!

For a change... finally a comfortable car buying experience

Like some of the other comments on here, I hate car buying because every time I walk onto a lot I feel like a piece of meat thrown to the lions. But my experience at Hudiburg was quite different. I was given time to look around the lot without interference, and when Steve, my salesman came out he was friendly and patient, and never used that horrible phrase, "What's it going to take to get you in a car tonight!?" Instead Steven asked good questions, and then listened. We located just what I was looking for in a few minutes. Steven was excellent with all the features and explained them in clear, easy to understand terms. We took two different test drives and Steven was excellent at showing me the features again, and exactly how they worked. I never felt pressured, and even the finance guy, Michael I believe was his name, was particularly great. He explained things clearly and let me decide. Again, I never felt pressured. I will definitely refer others to Steven and Hudiburg... thanks guys!
