Purchasing a Honda Odyssey

Was greeted by Raul and he helped us get our new van. Loved the professionalism by he and Steve in finance. The experience was well worth the hour drive. Seemed that they worked together well and provided us with what we wanted. Would recommend these two employees to anyone.

Extremely disappointed

I bought a 2014 Infiniti Q50 a year ago. I have had nothin but problems since. I got approved online and had an hour drive to the dealership and they hadn’t serviced the car when I got there and they tried to do it last minute. I had to drive back a week later for brakes because my brakes were scrubbing days later. I called and schedule an appt and when i got there he had no clue i had an appt or what I was there for. I waited 5 hours for brakes to be put on my Car. I’ve replaced a rotor and caliber and filters which should’ve been done before the car was sold. I will never buy a car from them again. Luigi was a great salesperson but the car is no good

Major mechanical problems

Purchased a 2012 Audi Q5 from this dealership, within 2 days the oil light came on. I called the salesman and was told to bring it back and they would fix it. I was told it was fixed only for the oil light to come back on again a couple weeks later. Come to find out nothing was fixed they just changed the oil. I ended up at the Audi dealership to try to figure out whats causing the oil light to come on every couple weeks. They did the oil consumption test and determined its burning oil at a high rate and the pistons need to be replaced. This is a $5,200 job. I called Impex back because they told me they fixed this problem just 2 days after I purchased it which was a lie. Impex wanted to look at it again and told me on the phone the Audi dealership was probably trying to rip me off. I took the car back to Impex only for them to have the nerve to tell me this was normal and nothing was wrong with the car. I'm sorry but the oil light constantly coming on means something is wrong with the car, I also have estimates from the Audi confirming this. If anyone should know whats wrong with the car is the Audi service techs that go to school just to work on Audis which is why I went to them. I also have mechanic friends and family that tell me if its burning oil at this rate the pistons have to be replaced and if you replace pistons thats basically rebuilding the whole motor. This motor will eventually lock up if not fixed and the car will be worthless. Impex told me they just sell the cars they don't make them. They told me I could trade in the car but they would only give me what they would pay for it at an auction which would be significantly less than I paid for it just a few months ago. (what they pay for cars at auctions is about half of what they sell them for) If nothing was wrong with the car, why offer me so much less than I paid to trade it in especially when they were notified 2 days after purchase of this issue and told me they fixed it. This place is a rip off. They buy cars at auctions having no idea whats wrong with the and sell them for double. Their mechanics are not capable to doing major work like rebuilding motors and replacing pistons. They were very nice in the beginning but once they have your money they don't care. There are some things that can be wrong with a car that you will never know until you are able to drive it around for a few days or weeks, like the oil light constantly coming on.

DO NOT BUY FROM IMPEX AUTO OF GREENSBORO

Bought an Audi in 10/2017 problems started asap after buying the car (on the drive home). Called and went back multiple times to be told, their either was not an issue or that they had fixed the issue - both were lies. Fortunately I purchased a top of the line $3700 warranty, so I willingly went to an Audi dealership to pay diagnoses fees and utilize my warranty for the repairs. The same repairs Impex claimed either didn't exist or that they had fixed. I then found out my warranty that was sold to me as a bumper-to-bumper fix all but wear and tear, is useless. The Audi dealership even told me that I had been lied to. I went back to Impex Auto about the issues, I was told the employee that had sold me the warranty had been fired due to saleing these faulty warranties. I also tried to address all the issues with the car that had been going on since day one. The manager I spoke to on 9/5 was no longer with the company on 9/6 when I called. Oh and they had my car at this point, and the receptionist was rude and kept hanging up on me to the point I had to ride over an hour one way to ask about the status of my car. THEN....I spoke with a manager that said they would look at my car, and wanted to work with me to get me into something else considering all these various issues. I was happy with this.... Their working with me consists of telling me my only option was to finance a 23,000$ car for 32,000 + 2000$ down. My Audi purchased 11 months prior for 28000$ + 3700$ warranty (i had equity with trade in +1500 down originally) they were only going to give me 17,000$ on my trade in! So with down payment + faulty warranty that's 7500$ they took from me hidden behind lies. I asked about the fake warranty that was sold to me in my loan for 3700$, or be applied back to me. I was told the employee had been fired and that was all that could be done. Also on my previous loan, I had a co-signer. The new loan I specifically said I would be the only person on this application. Well they could not get me approved for a 32000$ loan on a 23000$ car; so they took it upon themselves to run the person's credit from the previous year without permission. In addition, staff are unprofessional and more concerned about asking your relationship status instead of doing their jobs. DO NOT BUY FROM IMPEX AUTO SALES IN GREENSBORO NC!!!

The "Go to Guy"

Recently we purchased a Ford Expedition at Impex. Nasser was not high pressure and did what was necessary to make sure we were happy. The entire buying process was easy and very pleasant. Terrible Experience****

Caution...They had several vehicles listed on line on several online websites with the salvage title/flood vehicle descriptions. I called the internet sales manager and inquired if they knew how much damage was repaired or what they did to the vehicle. He assured me during 2 different conversations that his purchasers were told to buy vehicles that were only flooded to the bottom of the truck and no water entered the engine or trans (but they as a courtesy replaced all the fluids)...This is Not my first flood vehicle purchase so I was very specific with the questions I was asking. He always assured me it was good and the glamor shots on the internet looked good. I ended up flying in and once we arrived it took all of 5 minutes to tell it was all not true. There was water marking all the way up to the fuse panel and it was obvious they had taken the interior all out cause it was missing several panels and the electric seats were inop along with what looked to be black colored mold coming out of the middle row seats. I don't have a problem with them taking the vehicle apart and cleaning / drying and replacing computers, etc and making it right. But the internet salesman was not truthful and wasted my money, time and his sales mans time !!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME UNLESS YOU ARE LOCAL. Worst experience EVER. Called to make an appointment to see a vehicle after it had been listing on the website for over a month. Confirmed this appointment twice the day before. I informed the sales person we would be driving a long way to see the vehicle. Emailed early on the morning of our scheduled appointment, before dealership opened, to let them know we were still coming and expecting to arrive a bit earlier then scheduled. Received confirmation of our appointment to see the vehicle while we were driving. Received another email 30 minutes before our arrival after driving 4.5 hours stating "I just wanted to let you know we just sold the (vehicle we were going to see)! Please let me know if there is anything else in our inventory you are interested in viewing." I couldn't believe it and when I called I was told they were not able to hold vehicles. Why wasn't I told this before we started the long drive and what is the point in making and confirming an appointment? We would have been more than happy to put money down in order to hold the vehicle as we were NOT planning on driving 5 hours to come home with nothing. Do not bother buying a car from them unless you are a local. I am writing this review because they continue to send me generic sales emails emails after I have requested to be taken off their list and told them I will NEVER buy from them.

LEMON ALERT

Wanted to give them a fair chance...well they failed horribly. Purchased a 2011 Toyota Sienna Ltd in April of 2017. They were fine during the purchase etc, however the van was a total LEMON. This van was in the shop for 3 months out of the 7 months I owned it. Yes that is past tense because I just GOT RID OF IT TO GET OUT FROM UNDER IT! Within the first month of owning it I had the power steering go out (no pump all electric) the alternator, the radiator, the sliding door power motor failed ($2000 dollar fix) Which was the last straw. Not to mention the THREE open recalls on it the date I purchased it. Just be aware when purchasing from these people. (they also beg for google reviews as you purchase!!)

The customer service by everyone involved was absolutely phenomenal! Nass was very knowledgeable and comfortable to work with. He had the vehicle sold the moment I sat in it. Keisha (spelling?) who called to check in on us was so pleasant! It was refreshing to have an outside source care about our experience. Kate in financing was so nice, it was diffficilt for my husband to get a leg up with negotiating because he felt he couldn't make the usual back and forth threats. She was so accommodating to us!
