Best Service i have ever had

By Hope on 2/28/2018 at 7:14 PM. Helped by Billy Bryon, John Vangent, Jason Balsdon and most importantly Mel!.

I think the service is what stands out the most of this dealership and sets them apart from others. I bought my Camaro from another dealership last year, and had poor service even when i was in to go for test drive and buy the car. i decided to try the dealer in the town where i live and have always went back. they always provide a way for you to get to work and back even though i work 45 min. away and have even brought my car back to my house; i wish they were given my sale originally. The staff is phenomenal, from the receptionist Mel who is so sweet, to the service guys Billy and John and their manager Jason; such a great team.

I would recommend this dealer.

Buyers beware!!!!

By AshGmz21 on 2/23/2018 at 12:42 AM. Helped by Brione Banks.

My husband was up there for a good solid 6 hours, and not only did they try to tell him that the car was $1500 more than the online price, but even with $7000 down he was looking at ticket price out the door. They were extremely rude to my mother and as soon as they found out she was a loan officer at Robins, they turned around and told them the car had been sold. So you’re telling me that after 6 hours of xxxxxxxxxxxx, the car was miraculously sold within mins of finding out that my mother knew her numbers. Y’all are crooks!!!! I will be sure to let everyone in town know NOT to come here for a vehicle. #TeamFiveStar

Jeff smith sold me a lemon

By Jahree Martin on 12/28/2017 at 11:40 AM. Helped by Bri.

Jeff smith sold me a lemon, a brand new car that I had to have towed back to them constantly within just 2 months of having. After the 6th time bringing the car back because it wouldn’t start they refused to do something about it. They put a big toll on my life I just had a newborn and I wanted to trade my coupe in for something more suitable for a kid. I would miss days of work because the car wouldn’t start which was the same issue I kept having with the car. It almost costed me my job so I was forced to save up money and buy a cheap cash car because they wouldn’t give me a rental why the car was in service for a whole month saying I had to be 25 or older. That left me with no choice but to let the car go I couldn’t pay a note for a car That wasn’t providing transportation to provide payments for it. Now I’m looking at garnishments for the next 4-5 years THANKS JEFFSMITH.

3500HD Purchase

By Chevydude109876 on 11/13/2017 at 12:22 AM. Helped by AJ Grane.

We traveled from four hours away to trade in 2 vehicles and purchase our new truck. Our salesman AJ very gracious as he worked with us for two weeks to finalize the deal. He even came in on his off day to get the truck in and ensure we had everything we needed. Price wise they beat our two local dealerships on our trades and vehicle price. Our service will be done at another dealer so more to come.

I would recommend this dealer.

Excellent service, prompt and courteous. Clean facility and waiting area is ample enough to accommodate a large number of customers and is well stocked with fresh coffee, snacks and clean restrooms. Austin Harris is most efficient, pleasant and courteous service employee i have ever entrusted my vehicle for service work.

The worst service ever

By mayleebrooks on 6/21/2017 at 12:50 AM. Helped by Austin.

This has to be the worst dealership ever! I had to have saturn recalls done and even though they were done in a timely manner, the call i received was your car is done but it won't start. The car was running fine, started every time with no issues until the ignition locked up. When I asked what the problem was they thought it might be the battery, they didn't know. I asked if the security lock light was on or if they checked the battery they replied no that they had did the recalls by spec and that was all they would do without a 100.00 charge. When I asked who I should contact to resolve this issue Austin (the person I was talking to) said nobody could make them pay for any repairs and there was no to call. To add insult to injury( I am a 55 year old grandmother ) I came out there, picked up the keys and with my grandson tried to jump off the car to no avail while 2 mechanics stood across from me and watched. IS THIS REALLY A PLACE YOU YOU WANT TO PATRONIZE? My suggestion is to find a better dealership than this!

Worst ever

By Queenbiotch1966 on 4/2/2017 at 9:47 PM. Helped by Myron, sales manager, finance manager, title manager.

Jeff Smith Chevrolet is the worst dealership I have ever had dealings with. He, not his employees care about the customer. He refuses to meet with customers & his management staff is left to deal with problems they can't handle! He needs customer service training! I know I will NEVER buy another vehicle there. I'm sorry, but you and your employees should NEVER call a customer a liar! The service department was great!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Not normal

By Chris on 3/25/2017 at 9:54 PM. Helped by Austin.

I took my truck in for issues that I think it is having with either the transmission or the engine. At low or slow speeds the truck feels like if is vibrating and not wanting to shift in the proper gear at the proper time. The mechanic road with me and said it is normal but he did hear and feel it as well. I have owned this truck for nearly two years and I still say something is wrong. Whatever is going wrong has caused my fuel mileage to drop off to a very noticeable difference. It is really getting worse. I do plan to bring my truck back in for this issue because I'm sure this is not normal operation as the mechanic stated. The mechanic said there were no hard codes kicked out by the computer. Well anyone knows that hard codes don't always get kicked out and there may still be a discrepancy in the vehicle's operation. It gets really old hearing ' sorry, but we could not duplicate the malfunction'. I show up and drive with the mechanic and it produces the questionable vibration and they say it is normal. Please just fix this truck and stop pushing the matter off as normal operation.

Dishonest Customer Service Reps

By JD123 on 11/13/2016 at 12:45 PM. Helped by Two female customer reps working on Saturday, November 12th.

On Monday, October 31st, I paid $993 for service.Included in the price, was a new key FOB and programming. When I went to pick up the key fob on Saturday, November 12th, they attempted to charge me $52 for the programming.I advised that this was included per the service advisor.About 2 hours later,I was told they could not program my key FOB due to a computer issue. There was actually a technician under my hood with electrical plugs...I told them there was no way there could be something wrong with my computer. My current key FOB still worked and I had just had all that work done by them.I googled the steps for programming my key FOB this morning and completed it in less than 10 minutes.Surprise!Nothing wrong with my computer. It is a shame that dealerships take advantage of consumers this way. I realize that some "game" is part of the reality of using a dealership but this is ridiculous. They won't see me again.

Bought a LEMON and POOR SERVICE!

By welcome1 on 6/20/2016 at 4:23 PM. Helped by Brie and Antonio.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I purchased my Suburban form Jeff Smith. During the purchase of my vehicle, I paid to have Weather Tech Floor mats for my ENTIRE vehicle (Note: this was not something the dealership through in. I paid for them). When I didn't receive my floor mats after 3 weeks, I called the dealership and as it turns out, the sales person never ordered my mats. 2 weeks later, I received the floor mats in the mail and they were the wrong color. I had to PAY to send them back and when I asked where the cargo mat was, they said it wasn't part of the purchase. I was shocked. I once again showed my receipt where I paid for mats for the ENTIRE vehicle, which includes the cargo area. Jeff Smith refuses to provide the cargo mat. It has been 2 months since I purchased my vehicle and still do not have my floor mats. The day I got my Suburban home, the button on the passenger side seat controls fell off and the back left door began to raddle. 2 weeks after having my vehicle, the battery died. Now 2 months after purchasing my vehicle, my touch screen, which drives the radio, navigation, Bluetooth, backup camera, etc. continues to turn OFF and ON by itself. When I called the dealership about each of these items, I was told they worked when I bought it and there is nothing they can do. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Not a Trustworthy Dealership!

By BitterJeep on 3/9/2016 at 2:29 AM. Helped by Brandon.

I had spoken to a salesman on the phone about a Jeep Wrangler. After I understood the vehicle more I gave him a verbal offer that was a good bit lower than the asking price. After confirming with his manager he said that that "we wouldn't have any problem meeting that price". We then planned a time for me to come buy the vehicle. The day that the sale was supposed to take place I called to make sure that we had a verbal agreement. This was very important because I live a good 2 hours from the dealership. When I called he assured me again that he believed it would be no problem but he would check with his manager again. The guy comes back and says that there was a "misunderstanding" and the internet price was actually their best price. I felt like they lied to me in the hopes that I would come to the dealership and be pressured to buy at their price. Also, the fact that they didn't want to move on their price at all was extremely agitating. I am glad that I didn't drive all the way down there and I am even more glad that I didn't give my money to this untrustworthy dealership!

I would not recommend this dealer.

By lisafaine on 11/7/2013 at 9:14 PM. Helped by "MYRON" from Byron.

I had seen a 2013 Malibu online that I really wanted, so I called and asked to see if they still had the vehicle in stock. And I was told yes. And I explained my situation with one of the salesman over the phone. And then I had another guy call me back. And I explained to him what I had and what I wanted. And I advised him to take the information that I provided to him and call me back with some figures. I didn't want to waste his time or my time. Well, it got closer to 5:00pm and I never got a call back. So I called him back, and he gave me some figures and I explained to him that once we closed our shop up, we would be down there to look at the Malibu. We got to Jeff Smith Chevrolet, and saw a few men standing outside not doing to much, parked my car. And "MYRON" came over to me and asked me if there was anything he could help me with. And I explained to him who I had been speaking with about a car. He goes and gets the guy comes back out, and I met the guy in person that I had been talking to over the phone, and he advised me that Myron would be taking care of me and my husband. They already had the Malibu up and waiting for my husband and I to test drive. I was like WOW!. Myron took his time to explain everything about the car to us, which was very good. Because it showed my husband and I both motivation and determination to help us all he could. Long story short. Myron was able to give me almost twice as much for my trade in car than what Five Star was going to offer me. And was able to get me in the 2013 Malibu that I wanted. And since Myron was such a great person, we ended up trading in my husbands old truck and purchased a new 2014 Silverado Truck for my husband as well. So yes my experience with Jeff Smith has been great so far. And I would highly recommend anyone needing or wanting a vehicle to please go to Jeff Smith Chevrolet in Byron, Ga and ask to speak to "MYRON" from Byron. He will do everything in his power to help you get what you want. Great job Myron, keep up the good work that you do. Five Star Chevrolet missed out on 2 sales at one time.
