Sold me a lemon!

By Karlee on 9/26/2019 at 4:11 AM. Helped by Bucky.

This is the worst dealership ever! Don't buy here! We have had our Dodge Durango for 2.5 years from here and we have had to replace the radiator, water pump, engine (twice!), a window panel, and now our ac compressor is out. But our warranty (Jennifer's said it was a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty which we still are under and qualify for) has paid out as much as they will pay and won't pay for the repair. Because of all the other huge repairs we have had to make! Jennifer's has sold us the worst lemon, has put our family in a terrible and financially awful position. This was a dishonest place to do business. Don't buy from here, they're crooks!!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Jennifer's Stands Behind The Cars They Sell

By Used Car Sucker on 7/8/2019 at 10:49 PM. Helped by Bill.

Jennifer's Auto Sales stands behind the vehicles they sell. I purchased a car from Jennifer's Auto Sales in October 2018. In December 2018, an internal engine bolt failed (broke) causing piston to valve contact and resulted in catastrophic engine failure. The extended warranty company refused to cover the engine replacement, citing some ambiguous language buried deep within the fine print of the extended warranty. I was looking at a situation where I had an undrivable car that I just paid $8K for, along with a (worthless) extended warranty that I paid another $3K for and potentially being on the hook for a $5K engine replacement bill. I was obviously outraged, angry and extremely frustrated by the situation and, as a result, was a very 'difficult' customer to deal with. Bill (the Operations/General Manager) reached out and contacted me. He was very professional and courteous, and offered to override the warranty company denial, and basically replace the engine at his expense. Jennifer's did the engine replacement in their shop. Their service manager was extremely friendly, professional and helpful, and communicated with me throughout the process. The replacement was completed very promptly and when I went to pick up my car, was very pleasantly surprised to find out that Bill had even waived the warranty deductible. So far so good, the car is running great. Integrity is in short supply in the world these days. It was very refreshing to do business with a company that stands behind what they sell and does the right thing.

I would recommend this dealer.

Fantastic, from the salesman to the service dept

By Daphne on 6/14/2019 at 8:10 PM. Helped by Tony Van de Bogart.

purchased a vehicle on 4/26/19 "as is" for our grandson. Tony was our salesman. About a week after we had it, we noticed an oil leak, Called Tony & he said to bring it in to the service dept. To my surprise, they fixed it for no charge. About 3 weeks, later, it was leaking again. Called Tony & he said to bring it in. Again they fixed it for no cost. Have had no problems since. Jennifer's Auto could not have been nicer to deal with. The service dept was wonderful & our salesman. Tony, was one of the most helpful salesman I've had the pleasure to work with. I give them a 5 star rating! Daphne

Jennifer's made it happen for us

By JJ4451 on 8/31/2017 at 2:13 PM. Helped by Michael and Bill.

My husband and I purchased a vehicle from Jennifer's which we had for a few days and ended up being very unhappy with it. We called and arranged to bring the vehicle out and look at a different one. Michael (salesman) and Bill (sales manager) were awesome. They went out of their way to make us happy and get into a different vehicle. I commend them both on their customer service and their quest to satisfy us. Michael even came to our house (both times) to get my signatures, as I had recently had surgery and couldn't go out there. We have dealt with Jennifer's for many years, as have our son and many friends. They have always been more than fair to us. I recommend Jennifer's to buy a vehicle. They will treat you with respect and do what they can to make sure your purchase experience is a positive one.

I would recommend this dealer.

Worst place to get a vehicle and or oil changes

By Shawnathin on 3/29/2017 at 11:12 PM. Helped by Danny.

I baught a 2006 silverado from Jennifer's auto and first off they never gave me any carfax or even mentioned it and me being a first time car buyer they should have told me everything. To make things even better the tires were xxxx and i had to replace them a month later. Then just recently i went to get a free oil change with a free oil change coupon and told them iv only put synthetics in it since iv had it (2 years). Well when they got done not only did i owe them $50 some how my brakes were squeeking and have never done this before. So i go back in and tell them and they look at me like im stupid and say sorry we didnt do it and there is bothing we can do. This place is stupid and cheat their customers. I would highly recommend going somewhere else if you need anything automotive.

Making it comfortable and affordable

By Dogg1 on 2/9/2016 at 11:05 PM. Helped by Derek Basso, Jeff Franks.

Alright, if your anything like me writing reviews are not your thing but at some point, the service is so good you have to let people know. I am not a new car buyer, never have been. The problem with this process typically is the roll of the dice of who had it first and what condition is it in. Please know Jennifers prides themselves with having one one the best car buyers in the country who can find what you need for less than I could find from private sellers. They also have a vigorous inspection process which the car went through before the sales staff has access to it. In addition I was able to get a very affordable warranty for that additional piece of mind. The sales experience continues to this day with the way I am treated with every oil change visit ( first one was free! ). I will certainly return for any auto needs I may have and should you find yourself needing a vehicle or advice, I highly recommend starting your search at Jennifers!

I would recommend this dealer.

Unlike most Spokane dealers, there was absolutely no pressure from Jennifer's. Top service from the first time I visited, including helping me sort out a couple issues once I had driven the car for over a month. I highly recommend Jennifer's

They trusted me, I trusted and bought from them!

By nitro on 11/11/2015 at 9:48 PM. Helped by Paul.

I thought I was going to have to buy a $6 car at 24% interest, with over 100K in Mileage. I thought my credit was still crap. They got me into an 08 Dodge Nitro with 56K miles for I think 2.5% with a real finance company (STCU). I was out of there in less then an hour. The Salesmen listened to my 4 needs and recommended the vehicle of my wife's wildest dreams. They even let me drive it off the lot by myself, with fresh gas to test it. This was the best car deal by far. Now if your going to buy used, you have to be smart and buy an extended Warranty, you never know. If you buy a car over 100K mileage, its a crap shoot. I have a as new vehicle, yes the end result was $20K, but I didn't want a new car depreciation, or the hassle of all that technology. Great Deal, thanks a lot! Oh they did replace a few bulbs with no haste.

I would recommend this dealer.

My car is a nightmare-$5 K in repairs

By Mickeyjoe on 10/28/2015 at 11:15 PM. Helped by Mechanic shop manager, owner, salesman.

By my first oil change I had a list of repairs they gave me. Timing belt, front and rear brakes. At that point I was done with their shop. I went to another shop and they gave me a repair list even longer and end result $5000 later I called their manager and he said there was nothing they could do for me and now I have a car that doesn't run with 2 years left of payments.

Disappointment with process after they sold me a car

By Dden on 8/22/2015 at 2:53 AM. Helped by Too many. Really like salesman Danny.

Although I truly liked my salesman Danny, I am very dissatisfied with the number of times I had to go in for repairs to the car that should have been done before it was sold. The night I took it off the lot I got on the freeway and it shook so bad. Took it back for them to say go to tire store. Fine spent 2 hrs a tire store. Two days later went out of town, one headlight out and one bright out., not happy driving on the freeway over 150 miles each way without proper lights. They happened to call my husband and said they needed the car back for diagnostic on the headlight. Why wasn't this done before it was placed on the lot to sell. So, I had to loose my brand new car for 4 days. Picked it up asked if both lights fixed. Yup! WRONG!! Bright light not replaced. Had to bring back the next day. Meanwhile they were supposedly working on getting the window guy to fix the rock chips in windshield. It's been three weeks and guess what, no chip repairs fixed yet after asking numerous times on the phone and in person. Finally got a number from them, ended up being the paint guy. Went back tonight, got another number. Hopefully its right. I left a message. I question whether the car is safe, was safety inspection performed, did they get repaired-apparently not. I WAS a return customer. After this ordeal, I won't go back.

I would not recommend this dealer.

So, I rated this business OVERALL--when I first came in,...

By memphisrain1 on 7/18/2012 at 12:43 AM. Helped by Paul.

So, I rated this business OVERALL--when I first came in, all fives!! By the time I was done, they received the ratings I gave today. They worked hard for my deal and they didn't really make much, if anything. After purchasing new/better tires, replacing a seat that was broken, working on the front end and replacing the seat belt that stopped working when I came to pick it up, everything was great. I drove off the lot after paying $2500 down on a $6000 vehicle and ended up with $183 a month payments with a promise for a new interest rate (Reliable Credit) after a year of excellent payments--I made about 9-10 months of pre-paid and/or on-time payments every month. At about month 6, after sinking around another $1000 into replacing things on the vehicle and my balance being right at wholesale, I went back to the lot and begged them to let me trade this in on something else because of the constant mechanical issues. I know, I know--no warranty, used cars, etc. However, at that point in time, they COULD HAVE traded me out for something else and maybe even made some money--but they refused--quite rudely, I might add during that conversation. So, as I expected, another couple months later and another $1000 in repairs, the transmission went out--. I'm done at that point and the vehicle is given back to the loan company for fixing and auction. At one point I borrowed extra money on the vehicle from the loan company for repairs, which they did at Jennifer's. Paul, to his credit, gave me his discount so I paid little if nothing in labor for the repairs. Had they worked with me on this and let me trade this in when it was at wholesale price, I would have given a stellar report, as I did in the beginning. Not now, not ever. I was stuck with a lemon and now, a voluntary repo. Did I mention the check-engine light and ignition codes and the power-steering unit that needed refilling every 2 days? Horrible experience.

I would not recommend this dealer.
