Bad experience

I purchased a 2015 ford transit connection 03/03/2019 my appointment was at 11:00 am it was 4:30 and I was still not done I have filled out the credit application ahead to cut the waiting time I live 20 miles away I live in Maryland and I have to register my car in Marylantime took the van on 03/08/2019 to get inspected and didn't past the inspection, I called the dealer to tell them what happened and the sale manager didn't want to take my call so I called victor I have clearly ask victor Villalobos what would happen if the vehicle didn't past the inspection and he said bring it in and we fixed I brought the car to get it fixed and the manager Ankush Sherman said that there's not that they can do about it and didn't know why I was told to bring the van in for repairs I would not recommend anyone to do business with this dealership Salesperson: Sebastian poor service Ankush Sherman poor management Victor Villalobos poor customer service Stay away from this dealer

Lacking professionalism

Disappointed is an understatement. I will not do business with Jerry's again and I would highly advise others against it. I purchased my vehicle on 9 July and did not receive tags until mid November despite providing all the required documentation in a timely manner. Not only was the process incredibly slow, but there was a complete lack of professionalism. I made every effort to work with the tag and title representative, her manager, the general manager, and the president. The general manager told me he would no longer be dealing with me and the owner assured me he would work everything out and get back to me but never did and subsequently ignored all my efforts to contact him. I filed a complaint with the Virginia Motor Vehicle Dealer Board and finally got my tags and registration, but it is sad that I had to resort to this for a service I paid the dealership for.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Very poor at resolving known factory paint defects

Jerry's refused to fix known paint defects on a truck with just over 7500 miles Sohai confirmed the defect but nothing, Jerry's is the worst

Sales manager hung up on me

I filled out a credit application to see if I could get 0% on a new Focus ST since they had it advertised on cargurus for $24,200 fully loaded. They gave me about a week of run-arounds and finally the sales manager called me today. I told him the only way I would buy the car is at the advertised price and 0%, yes or no. He straight up got mad, said no, and hung up.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Very Deceptive

I am not one to normally complain but this experience was a pain! I live about 120 miles from this dealership and found a used truck that met my needs. I spoke with the salesman and told him I wanted to make sure they could come down on price and meet my trade needs. I told him where I needed to be and I was reassured on two different phone calls that they would make the deal happen and it was an easy deal. He even said he spoke with his manager who said it was a doable deal. When we arrived and went over numbers they were 4 thousand dollars away from the price we needed to be at. Not only that, they were charging more than what the listed price was when I inquired about the truck. The manager added a fee ($1,100) for which he said was for what they had to put into the truck when they got it in. Well if that's the case I would think whatever they did would have shown up on the carfax which it did not. I was completely shocked when they were charging more than the listed price, when they agreed to come down in price. I guess it was a con to get me there. The salesman even said sorry, I thought this was a done deal. What a waste of a day and time! This place needs some serious communication training! I see through these reviews that I am not the only person this happened to.

Going beyond a sale.

I am not an easy person to please, but Robert Strater and Tom Ibrahimi went out of their way to ensure that we were satisfied with not only the price of the vehicle but with the cosmetic look of the vehicle. Although it took a little bit of negotiating to get to the best out the door (OTD) price for the vehicle, they both worked hard to ensure that we both arrived at a fair price. Although at the end of the day, they gain a faithful customer, and my daughter gain the car of her dreams (FJ Cruiser). I am pleased to write this review as both Robert and Tom showed exemplary customer service, in a special recognition, I like the way Robert ensure that the vehicle was delivered o time by coming into work on his day off to ensure the vehicle was delivered to our satisfaction.

I would recommend this dealer.

Free oil change

Terrible sales, finance and services team.

Avoid this place.They denied to service my vehicle today, despite having an appointment, because I wrote reviews for them on the web and altered people not to fall for their lies. They ripped me off by selling $2000 a useless warranty plan that was already covered by the manufacturer and every-time I took the car for the past 2.5 years, they made an excuse to escape from their obligation. I have paid out of the pocket for services despite having this plan ever since I bought the car. Their service department, their finance and sales department are the worst in the industry and they lie to you as much as they can. I reported the problem to the store managed (Tom Ibrahimi) and he was as unprofessional and deceiving as the rest team members.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Please read before you use Jerry's Ford

I called Jerry's Ford in Alexandria, Virginia last week about a engine service light that was coming on and off which I thought was a sensor issue, because it happened before on my F-150. I scheduled an appointment for Friday, May 18 upon with time Bill informed me that I needed $1200 worth of service. I left the car, picked it up the next day but the engine service light continues to come on and off, so $1200 later the issue was not addressed and I was ripped off for $1200. I would appreciate it if anyone could recommend a dealer with a service department that will address the issue without ripping me off. Please do not recommend Cowles Ford in Woodbridge, Va there service department is horrible.

Poor communication between the employees. Bad system

I made an appointment earlier this week to look at their 2014 Ford Fusion. The appointment was this morning at 11 am. They sent me multiple emails to confirm my appointment. They even sent me one this morning! I show up and they are looking for the key and they can’t seem to find it. Then and there I knew that the vehicle wasn’t there. You should already have the car pulled up when I get there and ready for me to test drive. The car was sold last night. Nobody bothered to call me or email me except to confirm my appointment that morning. Looks like no one got the memo. I drove all the way to Alexandria for no xxxxing reason. Robert (I think, very nice and tall... also very handsome) was apologizing and saying they had no excuse and I appreciated that. The other guy on the other hand didn’t seem sorry at all and offered me another vehicle. No you can’t have my business. I’m sure you’re a good dealer but holy xxxx get it together guys!! So I bought a car today from somewhere else. If they would have emailed me saying it was sold I still would have showed up to look at the stock. But because of the inconvenience no you cannot have my business.

We live in Richmond, VA but found the truck I wanted at Jerry's Ford. This was mid November, 2017. I called and talked to Sean Mattis (salesman) and decided after talking to him I was going to brave the traffic. Once I arrived and was greeted by Sean I knew I was at a place I would like to do business. As the deal progressed and others became involved I still felt no pressure that I had to do this deal (the sales guilt routine). Once complete, I left with a smile on my face, a deal I appreciated and with the intent to go back for my other future needs. Funny, the other need(s) appeared the following week and I bought my wife a new SUV, same salesman, great support staff, a deal we were all happy with. Thanks Sean, Tom and all the others involved, we will be back!!!!!!!

Bad Management and Customer Relations

I have been trying since May, 2017 when I purchased my new 2017 Ford Escape from Jerry's Ford Alexandria, the second new car that I have purchased from Jerry's Ford, to get the driver's seat fixed. It was not level from side-to-side. Their dealership tried unsuccessfully to fix it 3 or 4 times. After that the service manager, Mr. Edwards, told me that if I took it to an upholstery place, to let him know and he would send the bill to Ford. I did that and had the seat repaired. I have emailed and called Mr. Edwards since then and he has not responded. I have also emailed and called the General Manager, Mr. Ibrahimi, and he has not responded either. Sounds more like their motto should be, Let the Buyer Beware! instead of "Let the Competition Beware!" Arthur S. Leahy

Worst dealership experience ever!!!

They gave me an out the door price twice. When it was time to do the paperwork I guess they thought I wouldn't see or ask why an extra 2,000 bucks was added to the deal. THEY PLAY ALL THE GAME ALL THE DEALERS GAMES. If you want to be "Toyed " with then go there quick. Its a dog and pony show. I was foolish enough to waist my time to visit the dealership a second time after so called management apologized for the shady finance guy added more cost to the deal. The two fake twin brothers I worked with apart of the show as well. After I got up from the table and went to ask the finance guy why is he playing games, why did he have me all the way in VA in a slight ICE storm for nothing. It was all a show. The sales brother then comes over and states lets not sale the vehicle to him etc. After the sales guy looked like he wanted to fight he realized that I was pissed he then stated he was just playing... these are kids here the worst experience EVER buying a car. Not too mention they ran my credit through a bunch of different banks after I told them the deal was off and I left. Next comes letters in the mail stating Jerry's Ford asked for credit from this people on my behalf. STAY AWAY, I CAN'T MAKE THIS UP --YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! PS. I DON'T CARE WHO CALLS YOU AND TALK A GOOD GAME ABOUT WHAT THEY CAN DO WITH THE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE YOU WANT. THEY ARE xxxx THEY ARE ALL LITTLE GUYS. The owner pulls the strings here and he will never call you back.

Multiple Blatant Misrepresentations

I contacted this dealer about a specific truck and set an appointment for a test drive. Before leaving my house, I asked the dealer to confirm whether the truck was on the Leesburg or Alexandria lot. The salesman told me Alexandria. I arrived at the dealer only to find out the truck was in Leesburg (45 minutes the other direction). The dealer offered a test drive of a different truck on his lot instead. When I declined, they retrieved the truck from the Leesburg lot and I again set an appointment for 11 a.m. the next day. When I arrived, we sat down to negotiate price. Although listed for $55,900, the dealer presented an offer that included a $1,295 fee on top of the list price and on top of the processing fees. When I asked about this, the dealer first said it was for transport (although the car was a local trade in). Then the dealer changed its story to advise that it was to recondition the truck, which had only 20k miles. I understand needing to sell a car, but these guys took it to a level that I felt was disrespectful of my time in multiple ways, designed to get you in the door and to bait and switch on vehicles and pricing (negotiating up from the advertised price). Overall, a much less pleasant experience that it could have been. I don't recommend these folks and can show you the text exchanges if you're not convinced.

Sold truck When a deal was in place

I feel compelled to share my terrible experience at Jerrys Ford of Alexandria. They are a very competitive, cut throat business with little to no morals or consideration. Drove 4 hrs in horrible DC traffic to buy a certified truck. When I got there and filled out all paperwork in finance, only then they decided to inform me they lost 1 of the keys ($350 key and under ford CPO there must be 2 keys). Spent night in hotel hoping they would find key but did not. Drove back home disgusted. Got a call later that week, they got 2nd key. I was approved and deal in place to purchase vehicle and after renting a car one way to take the 4 hr trip AGAIN, I got a "sorry truck was sold" TEXT @ 9:30 in the evening. I was stuck with car rental fee, credit score hit, wasted time and money. Although salesman was very informative and seemed like he cared I cannot be sure if he is the one that sold the truck underhandedly. I will never deal with this dealership again, and strongly advise anyone else to do the same. I wish I would have read the reviews prior, because their rating it poor at best with similar experiences. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!
