EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

By AndreaPij on 9/5/2014 at 7:23 PM. Helped by Carmen, Mark & Bill all in Service Dept..

I had to have my Canyon serviced and between Carmen the Service Manager, Mark the Service Advisor and the Service Foreman Bill S.had done such an excellent job at handling my issue with my Canyon. After numerous times with the check engine light coming on, (yes, they were all scratching their heads) but they worked very hard and many long hours to find the problem & fix it. Mark & Carmen both kept me notified of everything they were doing to make sure my truck was correct & safe. Bill, the Service Foreman had gone out of his way by staying way later to make sure this issue was resolved. These guys definitely need to be recognized for such EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I really appreciated all the hard work and time they put into my truck and truly look forward to seeing them again for any future services needed but hopefully it will just be an inspection and oil change next time! These guys are really GREAT! Again, I am truly satisfied & would definitely recommend them!

I would recommend this dealer.

I"ve had a great experience wit the service department,

By Bob Lacey on 8/31/2014 at 7:23 AM. Helped by Mark, Luke,.

I came to Joe Ball as I have a 36' RV with a Workhorse chassis that had begun to show several computer error messages. Mark the service manager was friendly and efficient. He gave me an appointment that fit my schedule, and expedited the work, as I was due to leave for a family reunion in Cape Cod. The service was done quickly and thoroughly. Both Luke the mechanic and Mark explained what the problems had been and what the repairs entailed. On return several months later I took it there for an inspection and some work on the ABS, and several other more minor repairs. I was asked to leave it there in case parts needed to be ordered. Again the service was prompt and thoroughly explained. The first time I brought it in was right after several recalls, and you could tell from the parking lot that they were extremely busy. This made their attentive and careful explanations all the more impressive. An added surprise was that the bill was reasonable. When I showed the work order and the bill to the service manager of the RV place I stored it at, you could tell he was surprised and he mentioned that it was a good deal. I know this review seems like Polly Anna speak. I tell you I have no connection to this place,, am 70 years old and have had an RV for 20+ years. This is the best combination of service and attitude that I've ever seen. I asked them how I might write this letter.

I would recommend this dealer.

Outstanding Service

By Don Rusnakowicz on 7/15/2014 at 11:20 PM. Helped by Mark & Carmen.

Iwas traveling Route 8 when my wheel fell off that was repaired a week prior at a National Tire & Battery chain. I had alled Joe Ball because I was about a 1/2 mile away. Never beingin Joe Ball GMC before, I can say the Service team was tremendous. They gave me a tow company to call, after waiting 20 minutes I was loaded up & on my way to Joe Ball. When I arrived they were fantastic, they immediately wrote up my vehicle and askd me if I needed a car to use to continue my errands.....Who does that??? I was there about 45 minutes total, 2 hours later I got the call my vehicle was done. SUPERB !!!! I am now a full blown Joe Ball customer for life. As for aftermarket shops, tire stores ect., JOE BALLS LABOR IS CHEAPER PER HOUR THAN ANY AFTERMARKET CHAIN. (and my tires are still attached)

I would recommend this dealer.

i purchased a 2005 mercury grand marquis, the abs module was bad and i was told that it would be repaired. i went back a week later to sign the papers and pick up the car, after the problem was fixed. after driving it for a few weeks i noticed that problem was not corrected, my abs and traction control still did not work and it appeared the warning lights were just unplugged, i called my salesman and was told it would be looked into and he would get back to me. a couple days went by then i called and he had an excuse as to why he hadn't returned my call but told me that the service department was making an appointment with a ford dealer to take care of it. i took my car back the evening prior to it having to go to the ford dealer and i didn't see my car for a month and when i got it back, it was behind their shop and looked as if it had not even left the property. a few hours after getting my car back i noticed the problem still existed, i spoke to the sales and service manager and was told it would be taken care of. after a couple weeks of not hearing anything, i called numerous times and my calls were not answered or returned by the sales manager chuck and when i did speak with him he told me to call the for dealer myself.

I would not recommend this dealer.

By pntr on 11/2/2013 at 12:34 AM. Helped by j/ bender, j. ball.

We were searching for a small truck, combed the area and found a small GMC used truck at Joe Ball. I noticed that there were 4 new regular radials on the truck and mentioned to my son, who was purchasing the truck, that because it was close to winter he would need 2 rear snow tires as the truck was not 4wd. We negotiated a price and trade in value but I mentioned to the salesman that for some reason they had replaced the two new rear regular treads with snow tires. Which was OK but I asked the guy, as part of the deal, to provide us with 2 new regular tires to match the front ones for after winter. He said no problem and before delivery he would have 2 new treads put in the bed. When it came time to sign the papers and pick up the vehicle there were no tires in the back of the bed. I met with the boss and he told me "he would make it right". I was also assured by the finance guy that Joe was a stand up guy and not to worry. We signed and after a few weeks and no call from them I called the salesman. He was rude and arrogant and hung up on me after I simply asked him about the promised tires. I immediately called the boss. He apologized for his salesman's poor attitude and said again, he "would make it right, give me a couple weeks". After 2 more months I emailed him to no response. Another email, another call, no response. I sent a letter, no response. This is NOT a stand up guy or a stand up dealership. They promised us 2 extra tires and now since they have secured the sale they feel they can ignore a customer. Joe Ball never did 'make it right", nor does he honor his word. This dealership and it's personel are phony, lying, arrogant unprofessionals. STRONG BUYER BEWARE. This is a dealership that once they secure the sale all bets are off. There will never be a time that I would ever consider shopping at Joe Ball. We regret buying this vehicle there and urge all potential car shoppers to avoid Joe Ball GMC.

I would not recommend this dealer.

By crapservice on 8/28/2013 at 4:27 PM. Helped by chuck.

I bought a used car from JOE BALL and i've had two issues with it, first was it seemed the transmission was slipping so i looked at the fluid and it was brown so i made an "appointment" to have it flushed and all new fluid put in (7-8 quarts), I thought all used cars were to have all fluids checked and changed if needed. But anyway i showed up for the appointment and was told i need to come back because they didnt have the transmission fluid, i thought thats what an appoinment was for, anyway after getting the car back i checked the fluid and it was still had a brownish tint to it not a cranberry red like a all new flush should have. I came to the conclusion that all they did was just drain the pan NOT a flush. The second issue i got is that the car i bought had a scratch down the door and they said they would fix it and i got an IOU, the guy came and did the work on the door and i was told it was done. The next day the sunlight was hitting that side of the door and i could see the paint dont match, i called and talked to my saleman and advised the paint dont match and he said he didnt realize the car wasnt quite done, it needed sanded and buffed and i would hafta bring it back. So now after making my third trip down there to pick the car up i noticed there is no difference in the paint color so now i advised CHUCK to come look at it, but NO he told me to call the paint guy and "HASH IT OUT" with the paint guy myself and gave me his phone number. GUESS THIS HOW EMPLOYEES ARE TRAINED AFTER THE SALE AND THE KIND OF BUSINESS THAT IS RUN THERE??
