Rude employees

Called to make appt.—lady who answered was rude. Took my car in for my appt.—service rep. was very rude, didn’t care about anything I had to say & had the attitude that he just wanted me to not bother him with anything. Also took several weeks before I could get an appt. to have my car serviced. I have had my car serviced at this dealership for years, but will be using someone else from now on.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great car/Great Service

I hate car shopping and haggling over the price. I was able to get the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted. Extremely pleased with the whole process. Greg, Dean and the entire team were a pleasure to work with. Will definitely recommend them to others.

I was lied to by the salesman and financial manager

I leased a 2018 Camry LE for 3 years with an option to buy on May 21, 2018. During that process, I was assured repeatedly that there would be no penalty if I ended the lease early should my financial situation change. Not true. The salesman, Jim Ellis and Jake Bunker, the financial manager at the time of leasing, lied. I would not have leased the car if I had known the truth. I do not recommend this dealership

Least stressful car buying experience I have ever had

This is my third car purchase at Joe Machens. On this visit I told them what I liked in a car and Cody Allison found the perfect one, exactly what I wanted with just one test drive. He was open and honest and very efficient in answering all of my questions via phone and email before the purchase. There was no struggle getting to the price range I needed to be in, and they were able to meet all my "wants" in options that did not come with the car. In all it was just a very relaxed experience. The day we arrived to pick up the car everything was in order, and all we had to do was sign papers. They were great with my 8 year old son who tagged along, making him feel included. They also had a Free arcade and refreshments that could entertain kids while waiting. Great Idea!!! Cody is very easy to communicate with and was very knowledgeable about the car. He did a great job of showing me all of the functions and getting the apps downloaded that I needed. I hope he is still there when I buy my next car. He is exactly who I would request. Finance was great also, I believe his name was Mike ? I hope. He was very descriptive in our options and made it easy to understand what all was included with every option, and why some options were more important than others. Very honest and not pushy. If your at Joe Machens Toyota, request Cody. You will not be sorry.

Almost a total waist of my time and money.

I went in for a couple factory recalls, an oil change, and to look at a couple dash light issues.. After 6 hours they call me and tell me I owe them over $30 I find out that the majority of this price is for diagnostics, and they had forgotten the factory recalls "which could possibly lead to the breaks not functioning, and shrapnel from the airbag". He said he needed to order parts and tried to reschedule me for a different day. But I had made this appointment for the factory recalls, and I knew the parts had been ordered the day before. When I mentioned this to him he tried to tell me that the lady who made the appointment wouldn't have known what parts to order. Which is not true because I was on the phone when the parts were ordered. $300 for an oil change and a couple minor fixes? I'm sure my anger and panic was heard over the phone, and he said he would try to get the recalls done. So within the 45 minutes it took me to walk back to the dealership they had finished both recalls. And it's a good thing because I was already looking for a Toyota contact to voice my frustrations. The price was lower than he had told me on the phone as well. I don't want to complain about that but the prices might change depending what kind of customer you are. If you know what I mean. I won't be back even if I have another recall.

The customer service we received was above and beyond what I expected. It had been a long day looking for cars and not everyone was nice or helpful until we got here. Danielle Kilgore was great she has a couple helpers unfortunately I didn’t get everyone’s name. They all stayed late to make sure I went home with something I was happy with! I couldn’t even tell they were closed by the way the were treating us! They made us feel very welcome. If you get the chance to work with Danielle you will leave HAPPY! Thanks again everyone

Recall Visit

Our son’s vehicle received a recall notice which was sent to our home address. He attends college four hours away, so Joe Machens Toyota was our closest option for repair. Their service department was phenomenal in helping us coordinate the appointment around my son’s class schedule. Their staff was so courteous, and made what could have been a complicated situation so much easier.

I’ve bought Toyota’s from Machens since the 1980s. Their service has been superior and their vvehicles legendary for reliability and class. All they need is regular maintenance for over 100,000 miles. Machens sale and service people are always courteous and knowledgeable. Their facility is squeaky clean, comfortable, and well-supplied with beverages and snacks.

Customer Service is so important to me! Matt Reid in the Service Department at Joe Machens Toyota knows his job well. He is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy (which sometimes isn’t easy to find unfortunately), but better yet he saves me money at each visit. Now the Machens Service Guys have a direct number you can text which makes life so much easier to get scheduled, answer questions, etc. I love leaving the service department with new knowledge about my car and how to save myself money.
