New 2017 CX-3 Best Experience Buying New in 20 years

I filled out an online trade in evaluation over a weekend, they called on that Monday, and within a couple hours after driving down on a Tuesday afternoon, Eric Paccione and Tim Bagwell had me in a new CX-3 and worked their magic with my trade in. The experience was hassle free and haggle free. Both Eric and Tim are experts in what they do, and that includes helping someone get in a new car. The short process couldn't have been any better. The Best Service Ever

My mom was in a very bad situation her car was broke down and she really needed a car. I took her to John Finger Mazda they did not treat us like a customer I felt at home there was no terrible sales pitch just honesty. I really wasn't expecting my mom to drive away with a car but to my surprise she was approved and now she does not have to worry about being broke down on the highway. Thank everyone at John Finger Mazda may God bless each and everyone of you much love my mom means everything to me.

Excellent buying experiene. Sales staff, Joe, Darrius Tim, & Richard all positive & helpful. Great Job ! Mazda's website allowed me to track my MX 5 RF Launch Edition from Order Input to delivery. Very nice feature. Lacy & the service staff couldn't be better. Service was able to install aftermarket OEM parts during the PDI so I didn't have to return the car.

My wife and I had a list of eight dealerships we were prepared to visit to shop for a crossover. John Finger Mazda was the second place we visited, and as it turned out, our last stop. That's because they had the car we were looking for. First of all, we loved the feel and features of the CX-5. Second, our sales rep, Tim Bagwell, brought us an outstanding deal that was simply too good to pass up. And since it was 100° outside, we were happy bring our car shopping to a close. I give Tim Bagwell all the credit for turning us from shoppers into buyers. He told us he would get us a great deal, and that's exactly what he did!

My mom and I , had an excellent experience when buying the Nissan Altima. Rodney and Gina were out of this world. They made us at ease, they kept their promise, which is hard to find these days, and we felt like family throughout , even the service department is just amazing. Jeff, whom I have seen a couple times, is so personable. Everyone has gone above and beyond to make sure we were happy. You can trust this dealership, and the great people that keep it going, with your mother or grandmother. Even our shuttle driver was just as nice as he could be. I couldn't have asked for better, especially when it comes to my mom. A+++ 5?????, highly recommend John Finger Mazda for anyone around the Greenville area. It's so worth it!!

A new Mazda 3

I recently purchased my second Mazda from John Finger Mazda, a 2014 Mazda 3 Hatchback, s Grand Touring with the Technology Package. Just like last year, when my wife purchased a new CX-5 from John Finger, the process was painless and hassle free. I had been in the market for several months, and the choice was between a BMW 3 Series and the Mazda 3. The Mazda 3 won on price, value, features, gas mileage, and styling. The Mazda 3 I was looking for was apparently somewhat hard to find, as few dealers within a 200 mile radius had what I was looking for. I contacted Brandon Price at Finger and told him just what I was looking for; he responded back that he had exactly what I wanted and that it had just reached port. Brandon stated that he would call me as soon as the car came in. In about a week, he did call and I immediately went to see the car. It had 7 miles on it and was fresh off the transporter. I did a short test drive and was satisfied that this was the car I wanted. Brandon honored the price he quoted me and all that was left was the trade-in. He gave me a fair price for the trade, and Mazda financing was competitive with what I had already secured. In less than 90 minutes from the time I drove in, I was leaving in my new Mazda 3. All in all a great experience.

This is the experience we had: We went to Finger to try to get them to match our price from another dealership for a 2013 mazda 3 hatchback. Eric was very nice and professional and we liked him. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the other two staff we had to talk to. We had in writing an offer from another dealership Rick Case in GA and they basically laughed us out of the dealership. The financial guy,who looked at Rick Case's 100,000K/10 year warranty basically threw it in our face. We asked him to call the dealership if he didn't believe us, to which he responded "So wait, you actually want me to waste my time and call"?? He was incredibly rude and rolled his eyes at us and acted like we were not worth his time. He was extremely unpleasant and I hope I don't have to see him ever again. The general manager Jerry came out and basically told us we were stupid for considering to drive to GA to give us the price they offered and they would rip us off. He told us to make sure and call the Rick Case and tell him we were 6'9 300lbs to make sure he gave us the price offered and laughed at us. He did not leave a good taste in our mouth. Next time I want to purchase a Mazda I will not be going to Finger, I will go to Spartanburg if I have to, considering they were much more pleasant to deal with when it came to comparing numbers. I understand that not all dealerships could match a price like we got from GA, we got an incredible deal (and no we did NOT get ripped off, and they did give us the price promised in GA), but the staff we had to deal with (minus Eric) was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We've been to a lot of dealerships in the past month, but no one quite treated us like this. They gave us the finger at John Finger.

We were using the USAA Car Buying Service, and the initial look at savings indicated that John Finger Mazda had the best potential. I used the email contact service and received a response from Brandon with minutes (it was late Saturday night). We spoke on Monday and discussed price and then set an appointment for Tuesday AM. Our intent was just to look but perhaps buy if a deal could be made. We were there at the appointment time and were greeted by a salesman who stated that Brandon was busy and that Dave would be our contact. Dave appeared and introduced himself, soon followed by Brandon. Dave went with my wife to look at a new CX-5 and Brandon appeared with the Used Car Manager. Since the car was for my wife, she and Dave went on the test drive, but only after Dave pointed out many of the features of the car. When they returned, an offer was received for our trade-in. It was reasonable, but we wanted a few hundred dollars more. Dave reappeared and said that my request was acceptable. I already had a preapproved loan from USAA, but they offered to match the USAA rate and they did. At that point we completed the paperwork and left in my wife’s new CX-5. All personnel, Brandon, Dave and Matt (Business Manager) were friendly and professional. No pressure, no attempt at upselling. All in all one of the better car buying experiences. And from drive in to drive out, the process took 90 minutes. Recommended.

Terrible experience. The staff was inexperienced,very unprofessional and rude. I do not recommend to anyone. I worked with a new sales guy that was nice. When it came down to trying to make a deal it was terrible. The numbers guy never introduced himself and glared at us through his office window like I was bothering him.

I hope whoever bought the 2003 Volvo S60 is ready to spend about $1000 for repairs that this dealership didn't want to disclose. The car looked like it hadn’t been cared for with a broken console and missing radio knobs, etc. I asked 3 separate times if the timing belt had been changed and got I don’t know, I forgot to find out and finally “the timing belt is in great condition.” I spent $35 of my own money to get a “real” Carfax because the one this dealership gave me didn’t have the maintenance records on it. I called the dealership that did the maintenance on the vehicle and was told that the timing belt had NOT been replaced and that the car was way “overdue” for about $1000 of absolutely necessary work which includes replacing the timing belt. I made an offer $600 off the asking price which I do not believe is unrealistic for a first offer and was told that the dealer had more into the car than that and wouldn’t budge off the asking price…like somehow I offended them. The half-truths and outright lie about the timing belt offend me and I wonder what else was wrong with that car that you didn't disclose. I will never buy a car from this dealer.

I have had my Mazda for over 10 years and bring it to a local mechanic for minor things like an oil change, etc... but I always bring it to the dealer for the important repairs. If a problem persists after my service visit, Mazda is sure to take a second look and works hard to fix the problem. On my most recent visit, Mazda went above and beyond to fix my "check engine" issue. When the first service repairs did not fix the problem, I brought it back, had more work done, and was actually credited for the previous repairs! Many mechanics would just charge me for the second round of repairs. Jeff, as always, was helpful and had my car ready when promised. Thank you!!

Richard is a great person- honest, friendly and very knowledgeable about the cars. We were debating between a CX-9 and a CX-5. The pricing we received from the sales manager on a CX-5 was MSRP plus after fees. Even though the CX-5 is new technology, the fact that we were offering to pay in cash, trade in a Mazda and received such a bad offer was disappointing. This is the 3rd Mazda we have tried to buy through John Finger Mazda- their prices have always made us leave Greenville to get a Mazda. The people are always VERY friendly and nice- their prices, not so nice.

We went to John Finger after searching their website for a certain type of vehicle, a Ford Explorer, and they had several models to choose from. When we got there we were greeted readily and asked as to what we were looking for, when we explained our search, were shown two units that matched our requirements. Upon test driving one of them we decided that it would be the one for us. We then told Jerry what are price range was and although the unit we were looking at was slightly higher, he was able to get creative with some numbers and we were able to come to a mutually agreeable price. Jerry made the whole process as painless as possible and for me that in itself was priceless. Buying a car is in the top ten of "things I hate to do", but working with these folks was a pleasure.
