Bad tire service

By Jim on 1/8/2019 at 12:13 AM. Helped by Woman manager at lube center.

I had a leaking rear tire and took it to the quick lube and they could not remove the tire because it had key locks and could not remove wheel because I did not have the key. I bought it used and did not know the lug key was missing. They couldn't remove the lug nuts so I went home and removed them myself using a method given on you tube. I called Jones Ford back and was given a 2:30 appointment. I showed up at 2:25 and was told by the manager that I would have to wait 2 to 2 1/2 hours as they were back logged. I said I had an appointment and the manager shrugged her shoulders! I walked out. I went to Discount tire and bought 4 new tires. I've been living here 23 years and have three cars and had bought tires at Jones Ford since they opened that service. I will not ever use them again. Discount Tire was very professional and worth the drive.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Liars and total waste of time to even go to the store

By Fred on 5/15/2018 at 3:20 AM. Helped by Woman in Service, mechanic, salesman.

I went to buy a car that was supposed to get really good mpg, took a test drive, was ready to make a cash deal but the salesman said he would not recomend I buy the car? I asked him to explain ? He said don’t do it! Am glad I didn’t buy,! I found out later the government was exposing ford for exaggerating the mpg! Another time I took my truck in about the transmission, the mechanic said I can give you a deal if you want, private side deal. Wanted 600.00 cash and said he would do it on his day off but use the company equipment, sorry I cannot trust them , they advertise their business as a friendly and caring dealer, stay away from them , you will be disappointed and pay more!!!! Be warned!!!’

Poor aftercare.

By Samsonwelder on 2/15/2018 at 7:26 PM. Helped by Casey Clarke.

I drove from surprise to here for a truck I saw online. Didn't haggle the price, pretty much drive up, said this truck, test drive it and was ready to buy. The price was fine, for a used hauling truck, but the "aftercare" from Casey Clarke (internet sales manager) was horrible. I've been waiting since I got the vehicle (1-9-18) for my vehicles handicap plates, and my temp plates are set to expire on 2-20-18. When I bought the vehicle, I was told it was smogged, until I got a letter in the mail, post dated 1-16-18 that I needed to get it smogged. I handled it quickly and even tried to get my plates myself at the MVD, but it wasn't registered to me yet because it needed to be smogged. So I get in touch with Casey and the smog certificate is picked up on 1-22-18. I've called and texted him several times since, each time I get "as soon as they are in there's a note for me to call you, they should have been in by now, someone is home for the day and it would be in their file cabinet, they aren't in yet, etc, etc." Forward to today and I'm mad. My plates expire in 5 days I try to tell him I'm the customer, I haven't gotten a call back about anything and I want my plates. I get hung up on. Then they call back and Casey tells me I need to act like an adult, oh and that I hung up on him, not the other way around. I don't need to do anything, I need to be provided with customer service, not be constantly told excuses on where my plates are. Or maybe when I asked if it was smogged in the office, they should find out instead of saying yes it is and have me sign something saying so. I need a sales person who will admit when they are wrong and not put a customer on a back burner simply because the cash already changed hands. Which I don't get, I paid cash, no loan no nothing. Maybe that's why they don't care about me here and Jones Ford, but I got plenty of reasons to buy my next vehicle somewhere else. And none where from the buying experience, aftercare.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Very honest

By Pam on 2/2/2018 at 10:44 PM. Helped by Mike.

After I had a flat tire AAA put on the spare. Later my car wouldn’t start so I called AAA again and this time they sent a tow truck and it took me to Jones Quick Lube. It was closing time but Service person Mike told me they would phone at 9AM the next day and let me know what was wrong. I also wanted them to repair my flat and put that on and look over the car. At 9 am Mike called, told me it was only a wire from the starter that came off, he also recommended a new air filter. My car was ready to go at 10 AM the next morning and even though I was a woman alone they were very honest and did not add any thing to my bill.

I would recommend this dealer.

Tesla tire repair

By jbs3150 on 1/31/2018 at 8:59 PM. Helped by Mike, Ben & Jorge.

Pulled into their Quick Lube location in Wickenburg Arizona at 7:55am before their opening hour. They helped me out immediately as Service Writer Ben took they information and their Technician Jorge made the repair. Staff acts and preforms in a very professional manner. Vehicle was returned in a clean condition. An effort was made to look up the specific’s of the vehicle as it has specialty tires with a gel lining for reduction of road noise. Kudos to Facility Manager Mike and his staff... P.S. Had to list vehicle as recreational vehicle due to no listings for Tesla’s...

I would recommend this dealer.

Horrible service from Sales Mgr Aaron

By Kellynscott18 on 1/28/2018 at 2:40 AM. Helped by David was great, Aaron was hortible.

We stopped at this location Sat Jan 19 and spoke to David who was so helpful and willing to find a truck we wanted, but he went on vacation and his sales mgr Aaron Wayas told us he would have the truck from the Buckeye location at thier location Sat Jan 27th for us . We arrived at 11am today and Aaron didn’t come into work or bother to call us and let us know he couldn’t get the truck. We wasted an hour driving there to find no truck, no one to help us and no one cared, the worst service I ever dealt with!!! I will never go there again and I will tell everyone about how this horrible experience!!!!!! so, we drove to Buckeye, drove the 2016 F350 and bought the truck. From our first hello to good bye our experience was great. One hour later we walked out the door with a new truck! Thank you Jones Ford in Buckeye for taking care of us and treating us so good.

Lube and Oil service

By James Tench on 1/15/2018 at 8:12 PM. Helped by Service writer.

Why do they call it lube and oil when there is no lube work done. The oil change and tire rotation was done very quickly however I ask the service rep when he presented the bill if they had checked the air in the tires and was assured they had when I got home I checked the air and found not one tire up to specifications. This is a typical failure at Jones since when taking in my other car to the Quick Lane of Jones Ford they rarely check the air pressure. This will not prevent me from using Jones Ford in the future I will just be sure to check my own air pressure.

I would recommend this dealer.

Poor, Poor Experience!

By FeelinScrewed on 1/11/2018 at 10:29 PM. Helped by Mike Harn, Carlos G., Matt D..

It now appears that our purchase of a 2008 Chevy Suburban LTZ from Jones was a huge mistake. It also seems that their “complete inspection” was not complete and not much of an inspection. I feel at the least we were misled/lied to or given a good old snow job. Or, there is a huge lack of honest, qualified personnel at Jones. So far we have invested about $200.00 into this completely inspected vehicle. Now I just got an estimate from my mechanic for “a long existing problem”, the air ride compressor and both rear air shocks and some other safety equipment. $2131.00! This issue was pointed out to Mike Harn, our salesman. He said this was the “traction control” resetting. Wrong! This noise was the air ride compressor trying to reset, due to the air shocks that were shot. Any competent mechanic would have seen this glaring problem and replaced all.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Oil change and brakes.

By drichmond on 11/22/2017 at 6:00 PM. Helped by Service Writer Brent.

Thank you Jones Ford for addressing the issues with my Jeep that I was not aware of. I heard some squealing by my back tires and thought it was sand in my brakes and was not aware that they were metal to metal. I originally had gone to Jones Ford for an oil change. Service Writer Brent helped me with this need and my safety in mind. Thank you again- I would highly recommend.

Prior experience good. This one not good.

By Warren on 11/18/2017 at 7:14 PM. Helped by Shawn - service representative.

I was informed that my towed in 2006 Ford Expedition required a replacement battery cable harness. Originally I was told the price for the part would be $280. After questioning it was ultimately reduced to $200, which I paid. My invoice reflects Ford part number 6L1Z14300AA. FordPartWorld.com offers the same cable assembly (Part number 5L1Z-14300AA) for $54.34. Presumably the dealership does not pay retail prices to Ford for parts, and thus a parts mark up likely exceeding 300% does not incline me to do more business with this dealership. I was essentially a "captive" customer by reason of my vehicle's condition when towed in, and thus not free to simply go elsewhere - or I would have. I will say that my service representative, Shawn, seemed to do his best, within management constraints, to deal with my concerns and complaints.

Confused by pricing and advertising

By Timmy on 11/1/2017 at 9:01 PM. Helped by Matt and David.

Offered a 39.95 oil change but once I arrived it went up to 100.73! I took my concerns to the management along with my offer and they agreed to make their offer right. Great people, great service! I found the same oil change Jones Ford service department charged me 100.73 is priced at 65 dollars at Jones Ford Quick Lube a mile up the road. I do not mean to stir things up but let’s be fair and let’s be honest! I will return to do business with Jones Ford because they listened and made things right. Thank you Matt and David and Brian I don’t know who the guy at the front desk is that sits by Matt but he needed some happy pills, I don’t think he found my complaint worthy of listening too, he told me I will get further ahead with Matt with this issue. Any future business at Jones Ford will not involve this gentleman. I’m not the one who’s wrong here folks, I expect what’s promised when I arrive for the service. Thanks for hearing me out and making things right guys. I gave you 5 stars but I can’t recommend your oil change services due to the reduced cost right up the road at your very own Quick Lube business.

I would recommend this dealer.
