I went in thinking something was wrong with my car, I had some symptoms that I was concerned with. After they did the diagnosis, there was nothing wrong with the car. I am new to VW so I’m not too familiar with how the cars run, so I didn’t know the things that were happening were normal. They cut the diagnostic price in half because of it. My service advisor was very friendly too. And they had an experienced technician talk to me about what I thought was wrong

Volkswagen Golf from Karen Radley Volkswagen

The sale people were upfront with pricing and low pressure. This was perhaps the easiest car-buying experience I have ever had. I am from out of sate and it was very easy twith complete this deal. I will definitely steer people their way if I know someone in the market for a new vehicle. Excellent buying experience.

The service staff kept me advised of the time it was going to take for my service. The waiting area is clean and provides comfortable seating as well as coffee and water. I have always been pleased with the service I have received.

Slow Service Department

After a great used car buying experience from Karen Radley VW, the Service Department was definitely a let down. I was not pleased that it took over TWO hours to get an oil change for my vehicle, after arriving to my appointment on time. My Service Advisor did a poor job keeping me advised of the progress...at one point, I asked if a typical oil change took such a long time to perform, and his gruff answer was a simple "yes, unfortunately"...no justification as to why...what a terrible attitude. I then waited almost half hour to get the vehicle washed, after it sat unattended for at least 15 minutes It would be one thing if they were obviously busy, but I certainly didn't see a flurry of activity in their service shop. Overall, I was very disappointed with the time taken to service my vehicle, for what at most places would be a simple and quick procedure. Despite the incentive of free oil changes when you buy a car, I will consider taking mine and paying for it elsewhere...time is money.

I would not recommend this dealer.

First time car buyer

After my car had been deemed a total loss by my insurance company, I was faced with having to finance my first vehicle. Many would say this is scary experience in itself, but after just moving to the area 2 months prior, and not having the savings for this unexpected purchase, I was overwhelmed with the thought of buying my first vehicle. A friend of a friend recommended I go see Dayz at Karen Radley, and she changed this scary experience into one of the best decisions I have made thus far as an adult. They worked hard to get me financing, and into a vehicle which I could afford and was reliable. After browsing dealers and leaving discouraged time after time, I stepped foot into Karen Radley with low expectations, but quickly began to realize that they were the perfect fit for me! I love my vehicle and am so happy to be a part of the Karen Radley family. My saleswoman Dayz, listened to my wants and needs, and gained my trust in a matter of minutes. I have called her multiple times since my vehicle purchase 5 days ago, and she always answers my calls and questions right away. Knowing she is there for me, even after I signed on that final dotted line, is such a comforting feeling!

Leasing a Vehicle

Please be aware the dealership will sneak in tax payments. I leased a vehicle from Karen Radley Volkswagen the beginning of March 2016; it is four months into my lease and the dealership has failed to provide the title and registration which falls in their purview for leased vehicles. They have added on additional expenses for taxes, which was never revealed to me before the paperwork was signed. In addition, the dealership has negligently failed to provide temporary tags during the process. I am paying monthly payments on a vehicle I cannot drive legally. I would not recommend doing business with them.

Their alignment machine needed to be calibrated.

They repaired my 2012 Passat because of a recall. They said I needed an alignment and my tires needed rotation and even provided a spec sheet showing how bad it was. I purchased new tires and had the car aligned just 6 months ago and only have only driven 3,000 miles since. Long story short they either lied or have a guy that doesn't know how to test for an alignment. I know this because I have a trusted alignment specialist that does custom cars and he verified my alignment was perfect. The service department manager and the old guy service rep didn't apologize, say they were sorry ... NOTHING. They are supposed to refund the $40 I paid for my guy to verify I didn't need an alignment ... so far nothing. Sad thing is I have another recall for a Takata air bag that VW doesn't have a fix for yet so I have to take the car back to these liars. $189 is what it would have cost me for service that was not needed at all. Update: They reimbursed my cost and I received a follow up phone call from Rod Emmons. He stated he had the alignment machine calibrated and gave me an apology. I can't really say if they do good work but at least they are trying to do the right thing.

Easy car buying experience

I purchased a used car from Karen Radley VW after seeing it posted on the various search engines (Autotrader, Cars.com, etc.). It was pretty much exactly what I was looking for, and the published price was attractive, so I scheduled a visit through Chris Henson to check it out and test drive. Although Chris told me he was new to the business, he handled the entire process like a seasoned veteran, and was very cordial and respectful throughout. Also, financing the car was easier than expected. Their finance person, Tony Wietz, was also a stand-up person, and like Chris, was honest and never pushy...the complete opposite of what I've come across at other dealerships who try to sell you a bill of goods you don't need. The entire process from test drive to walking out the door with the car literally took a few hours. I noticed that their motto is "delivering memorable experiences" ...I would add the word "pleasurable" to that.

Outstanding Customer Focused Experience!

Karen Radley was our first stop and chosen dealership to purchase my daughter’s first owned car. The overall experience was outstanding through the entire process! Professionalism, honesty, efficiency, and customer focused are characteristics that Karen Radley staff excelled at during this purchase experience. My daughter and I visited this dealership to gain information on the VW GTI car. We informed our Sales Consultant, Andrew Dixon, at the time that we are only seeking information and that we are not ready to purchase yet. Drew allowed us the opportunity to independently test drive the car, and gave us the needed information for the visit with NO pressure to purchase. His Manager, Tony Wiest, followed up with a phone call offering his assistance with any questions that we may have. This approach left us with a good first impression, while we were still analyzing the various cars and dealerships in the area. After few weeks, we decided on the GTI and came back to our first most pleasant experience place. This time, we were greeted by Chris Henson, who worked diligently with us throughout the process. Chris is friendly, honest, knowledgeable and has “customer first” mentality. We worked closely with the Sales Manager, Jose Cabrera, securing the desired model vehicle. Jose also put us at ease with the purchase process experience. He transparently walked us through the process of inquiring the desired model vehicle, since they had to secure it from another dealership. We picked up the car the following day. It was in excellent “show room” condition! My daughter loves it! Karen Radley has won our loyalty, and we will definitely give them the first opportunity in purchasing our next vehicles! Pleasant Experience

I just bought my third VW from Karen Radleys!!! I got the best car and had the best sales experience! They offered me more on my trade in than another VW dealer and they gave me an excellent price on my 2012 VW CC! I got my dream car, in the color I wanted, no hassle, the process was easy and painless and they worked with my credit union! The staff was friendly to me and my family! I was able to complete my transaction with my 5 year old son!!! I would definitely go back and recommend Karen Radleys VW over Bill Britt VW!!!!

My first car purchased could not have been better

I haven`t had much experience purchasing a car, but I am positive that Karen Radley VW car dealership made it an amazing experience. I ended up traveling to Woodbridge in order to purchase a certified pre owned VW Beetle. Mr Clarence was extremely helpful through the process and never tried to push one option over another. he gave me the facts, options, explanations and allowed me to test drive all the cars I liked and make an option myself. I liked the fact that they respected my budget and the General Sales Manager Mr Slock accommodated me in that. I had the best experience, and managed to leave the same day with a new car and everything done. They even helped me with the car insurance and financing. Highly recommended and probably I will pay a visit again if I ever decide in the future to purchase a new VW. Thank you once again!

My fiance came into this dealership last Saturday (on my behalf) because I was not able to take off work, plus they aren't open Sundays. He was treated as if he was not a serious buyer and the finance department wasn't even trying to get a deal done. (supposedly because my trade was too upside down) As far as I know the deal was never submitted to any banks. I called in myself and spoke to another sales person who assured me he would try to see what was going on and get something moving in the right direction. He called me back later to explain that my trade was too upside down and no bank is going to accept the deal. I told him I really want to buy the car and I need them get back to me with what its going to take. I never received a phone call back until today (4 days later). A guy asking if anyone ever followed up with me, I explained I already purchased another Volkswagen yesterday at another dealer and that Volkswagen dealer was able to work out a deal with my upside down trade. This dealership has serious lack of customer follow up and not much effort to get a deal done to a sell a car.

I would not recommend this dealer.

I have bought a lot of cars in my day. I must say these guys are great. I was looking for a certified preowned Tiguan and they had one of the best deals that I found. I was buying the car from out of sate. They went over the car giving me any minor flaw it may of had ( which was almost none). They were able to do a deal for me that I was very happy with over the phone and let me put a deposit to hold the car. Two days later I took a train from New Jersey and the salesman picked me up at the station and drive me to delership. I was on my way out in less then 1hr. They whole deal was fantastic , i found what we were looking for and at a fantastic price. Car was better then expected.

The easiest experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. I went through the Costco program, which made the experience even easier. Clarence Christian is a first rate salesman, who at no pushed me to purchase a car or a car I did not want. He went out of his way to get me the car I wanted, even when Karen Radley did not have the color I wanted. I highly recommend this dealership, and ask for Clarence Christian.

I purchased a new VW Golf TDi and I was very impressed how fast and without the hassle that you normally get from other Dealers, I was able to buy a car, negotiate the price, get the paperwork done and drive it off the lot. The Sales Consultant Mrs. Tokuno “Tee” Yorker, did a fantastic job, as well the efficiency of Mr. Ryan Poole, how did the paperwork was wonderful. The General Manager Mr. Brett Siock has trained his staff well and came out to meet me personally. I will buy a car here again.
