Turned my frown upside down!

I had a lease from another Kia dealership and had been unsatisfied with their service upon obtaining that vehicle. I desperately wanted to disassociate myself from them. Audley Bullock at Karp Kia made it possible! He turned my frown upside down and assisted me with obtaining a new vehicle and made sure that it was a smooth and easy process!

Making it Right

I had a very strange experience at Karp, which was expertly handled to conclusion by Ellen Karp. the GM (can't remember his name, but very professional) and Audley Bullock. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Kia and ask to have Audley handle the Manager's final clearance. Matt T was also professional, but needed his manager's help to close this deal.

Amazing experience

I came to the Karp dealership to look at a Kia Optima and I was beyond impressed by Frankie Brus. He made me feel that my satisfaction was what he aimed for, and that I wasn't getting ripped off. I felt very comfortable with my experience with Mr. Brus. He took the time to get to know both my family and I and understand what it was I was looking for and what price range I was interested in. If I was uncertain or confused about something he explained every little detail to me and made sure we were both on the same page. He let me get a feel for the car and was 100 percent courteous and generous throughout the entire experience. He treated my family and I with the utmost respect, honesty and delivered what he said he would. I did not feel that he was ruthless at all, as stated in another comment on the site. I felt the complete opposite. I am so happy with my new Kia Optima and beyond appreciative and grateful of the experience I had at the Karp Kia dealership with Frankie Brus.

Don't Be Fooled By Initial Kindness

1.) While courteous and kind when we can to test-drive the vehicle, laying out the price and the fees when asked for, Frankie pressured us to buy the vehicle, claiming that someone else was coming to buy it. He pressured me into making a deposit over the phone and to pick up the car the next day. 2.) When my wife, infant daughter and I came to pick up the car, Frankie made us wait for 15 minutes, claiming that the vehicle was not back from cleaning. He then came to do the paperwork. 3.) Upon giving Frankie the check for the car, he noticed it was not the full amount. His demeanor immediately changed and he implored, "Why didn't you get me the full amount?!" When I said I was going to charge the $6000 he said "Company policy that we can only take $2000, $2500 max on charge." He said "When am I going to get my $$$$!" He had ZERO regard for me and my family nor for the fact that I'd have to take out another loan at 10% interest to pay for the rest of the car before the insurance company gave me a check. All he cared about was his $$$$. 4.) Of course when I came in the next day with the $$$$ Frankie was as nice as pie. He just cared about another car sale to his name. DON'T LET HIS INITIAL WARMTH FOOL YOU! He's just as greedy, slick and ruthless as the rest of the car salesmen. After posting this review I had a wonderful conversation with Ellen Karp. While I am maintaining the review to let people know of my experience i want you to know I heard excellent things about Karp Kia beforehand and have no doubt that this is not typical of how the company conducts business.

I have leased from Karp Kia in the past and I was excited to get back to the dealership and lease my new Kia from Michael Rosenberg! He made my experience enjoyable as he was very professional and attentive to my needs. He was also very informative, prepared, and organized and took the time to explain and answer my questions to make sure I felt comfortable. Dealing with Karp Kia is a positive experience and I am walking away very satisfied!

Great experience while looking, researching, test-driving

Here's the thing I'll state up front: we ended up not buying a Kia. We were looking at different cars of different makes, and the Kia Niro was in the top three, but we went with something else. However, I just have to write somewhere about what an amazing and positive experience it was to visit this dealership and work with Michael Diakanwa – we stopped in not once, not twice, but three times. He was patient, friendly, courteous, answered all questions, and made our research process very comfortable. Not all car dealers are the same! Kia is not a brand I was very familiar with before this experience, but one I will definitely consider in the future.

Karp a Diem! I seized the day and leased a Kia Sportage!

Today I had the most pleasurable experience working with Michael Rosenberg at Karp Kia Rockville Centre, NY. From the moment I met him I felt completely at ease discussing my wish list and finances in deciding on the car I would lease. After doing a considerable amount of research on crossover SUV's, the Kia Sportage was the one that checked all the boxes on the must have features on my wish list. I have leased many vehicles and different brands and Karp Kia was the easiest, stress-free experience going through the leasing process from start to finish. I attribute a lot of that to the professionalism and trusting demeanor of Michael Rosenberg and the relaxing ambiance of Karp Kia dealership. I highly recommend Karp Kia to lease or buy your next vehicle! You won't be disappointed, you will be amazed!

Enjoyable car buying experience

So I decided it was time to buy a pre-owned certified car, I spent four weekend in a row at different dealerships from the east end of Long Island to Queens and Brooklyn. I stumbled upon Karp Kia by making a phone call when I saw their ad. Audley answered the phone and from the moment we began speaking I realized this was a gentleman I would like to deal with. He was honest, straight forward and just all around professional. i had been so beaten down by the fifteen dealerships I had visited I was very skeptical that he wasn't going to be the same person I spoke to on the phone, but nonetheless, I went to see the car. I cannot express my gratitude enough about how pleasant an experience this was for me. He didn't play games, he didn't try to hide anything, he was honest and I finally felt like I was getting scammed or ripped off. I cannot understand how some dealerships stay in business given my experience over the last month but this dealership and especially Audley should be the gold standard and all dealerships should operate this way. He saw me through the whole process from showing the car to putting the plates on and to me, that was top notch professionalism. It finally made me happy that there are still decent people in the car sales profession! I am going to buy another car later this year and I will not go to another dealer or salesperson. If you are looking for a pleasant experience, to feel like you're being treated fairly and to leave happy, with a fair deal then Karp is the place to go and if you're lucky you'll get to deal with a true gentleman, a consummate professional like Audley!

Leased a new Kia!

After weeks of research, I leased my first vehicle from Frankie Brus. I wouldn't trust any other dealer to lease a car from after meeting with many other dealerships. Most others did not understand how a leasing formula worked and could not explain the details to me. Frankie was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I got a fair deal and love my new car!!!! Professional and Courteous

From the floor manager Audley to the sales rep. Michael. The entire staff were a pleasure to do business with. Transitioning from a Lexus lease to a Kia Sorrento was a no brainer. I just leased a 2017 kia optima from Karp Kia ,Mike Rosenberg was my salesman. This is the second car I got from there and Mike helped me both times. He got me the car I wanted for the price I needed. It was a pleasant experience. I recommend Karp Kia and Mike Rosenberg if you want great cars at great prices with excellent care.

Finally -- a pleasant leasing experience!

I had always felt that having a root canal procedure was preferable to buying or leasing a vehicle because of hard-sell, intimidating salespeople. That was until recently when my husband and I walked into Karp Kia and met Jonathan Hernandez. This was our 4th visit to an automobile dealership in two days and we were running out of steam and patience. Upon entering Karp Kia, thinking we were interested in test driving a Sportage, we were greeted by Jonathan. After only a few minutes it became apparent that the Sportage was not the vehicle for us for a few reasons. Jonathan urged us to look at the Soul. At first I was hesitate to consider this vehicle because of the boxy styling, but Jonathan urged me to sit in it, and after taking it for a test drive, we were sold. This was the vehicle we wanted for a number of reasons, not the least being the excellent visibility it provided. Jonathan is professional and knowledgeable, he listened to me and directed me to the best vehicle with the right optional features for my particular needs. No hard sell. He just presented the features and benefits and worked with us to make sure we got everything we wanted and needed and made the whole process painless. And Mark, the Finance Manager, was unlike any other auto dealership finance man we have encountered as well. A pleasure to work with. We only have very positive feelings about Karp Kia. The showroom is impeccably clean, comfortable and hospitable, but it’s the staff that will make me want to refer everyone I know to Karp Kia and to Jonathan Hernandez.

The Way It Should Be!

The Karp salesperson was Mark Taub. He was proffesional, honest, friendly and helpfull. He made sure I received all discounts due me on my 2017 Kia Optima. He made sure we had a basic knowlege of the vehicle before we left the dealership and told us to call him if we had any questions regarding our purchase. This is the way car buying should be for everyone!
