Thanks Brian!

By pete44 on 7/3/2019 at 1:35 AM. Helped by Brian Sheldon.

I worked with a salesman named Brian Sheldon. Although I didn't end up buying a car, I could not have been happier with Brian's service. He was attentive and professional the entire time. We looked at several models and test drove a couple of them as well. For anyone looking for a Mercedes, talk to Brian. He's a good guy and he's honest.

I would recommend this dealer.

Management goes the extra mile

By R & E Hanna on 6/20/2019 at 9:36 PM. Helped by Andrew Campa.

I’ve been a Mercedes Benz loyal and satisfied customer for many years. I recently had a blow out and had to replace one of my tires in a nearby local shop. To my surprise, the key for the lock nut on the wheel was not in the kit where it was supposed to be. My local mechanic suggested I contact the dealer to get one. I went to my Mercedes Benz dealer “Keyes European Mercedes-Benz” right before closing. I explained my situation to the service director, Andrew Campa, and he immediately called the mobile service van and asked him to meet me the next morning at the local shop with the lock nut master key set. Mr. Campa also asked the Parts Dept to order a key for me and to call me when it was ready since they did not have any in stock. As promised, the mobile van showed up on time at the tire shop, with the local tire shop team impressed with the kind of service we were getting. Andrew and his team have always gone that extra mile to give outstanding customer service and it is very much appreciated. Thanks For a great customer service R & E Hanna

Keys European Mercedes-Benz Communications

By alexford on 5/16/2019 at 12:52 AM. Helped by Operator; Vincetta Mendola (e-mail left).

On May 15, 2019, I contacted Keys European by telephone and spoke to an operator and two other people, one being a Manager. I also e-mailed the company. I requested to verify if my car was on their lot and they transferred me around until I received a recording each time telling me to leave a message. I was not able to have the manager get me to a person with a personal interest in me or my car. The operator on duty did not understand where to refer me when I told her that a repair shop in the area told me that they had transported the car to Keys European for a certain aspect of the repairs. At least someone picked up the phone. That really is not enough. Because it was near the end of the day, the employees I dealt with seemed more interested in going home than in connecting me to a person who could answer my question. This had to do with a computer generated notice to me by e-mail that my 2019 Mercedes-Benz battery was in critical condition and a state of discharge. This is the third time the automation of the car had told me that the battery was discharging to a dangerous level. Nice to know. However, if no one can do anything about it, what good is this advance warning?

I would not recommend this dealer.

Bad Service

By Emily on 4/6/2019 at 6:45 AM. Helped by Casey Kazienko.

I took my car in because there were a few issues with it, and they gave me a hard time due to the fact that they didn't have a loaner car at the moment. Once I got a call saying the car was fixed, I headed in to get my car but they didn't even finish fixing it and when I went back they said I have to go in for the third time because they hadn't received the other part. When I had first taken my car in, it had a full tank of gas, but once I got it back it was only halfway full. I'm very irritated because my car still isn't completely fixed and they gave me horrible service.

Excellent price; no games; and everything done on time!

By MarkBob on 12/14/2018 at 3:39 PM. Helped by Johnny Cashiola.

Johnny Cashiola was the sales rep. who helped me from my first cold call to the dealer to the conclusion of the transaction. Having bought numerous Mercedes-Benz vehicles, I had a lot of prior experience with MB dealers and salespeople. Johnny was the most professional, which I define as telling the truth and being totally honest, and doing exactly what he said. When we agreed on a price, there was no additional attempt to horse-trade, or play any games. He also didn't waste my time! I would highly recommend!

Dishonest dealership

By hashim on 12/7/2018 at 12:32 PM. Helped by Fadi.

I was overcharged by $6000 on the MSRP for the car since they hid the original sticker price of the vehicle and during price negotiation they said they could overcharge me for the “special order” car since they were allowed to do that despite the fact that it was a basic C class. Instead of a Mercedes dealership this felt like dealing with a team of con artists. After having taken delivery of the car I noticed a few dents as well that they said they would fix for me but I never received a call back from the dealership. Do NOT buy from this place.

GRIFTERS

By DavidO on 4/24/2018 at 2:34 AM. Helped by Danny and Vee.

A third world bazaar wrapped within a gorgeous showroom staffed by an army of grifters. Gave them an order for a new factory e400 82K cabriolet after 2 hours of them trying to switch me into a floor model. A month before expected delivery I called to inquire on status only to find out 'the order was rejected by the factor, buy the one on the floor."

Over charged and poor post sale service

By Fr.Ted on 4/20/2018 at 7:14 AM. Helped by not sure.

The worst kind of old school dishonest and manipulative sales person. Made promises that were not delivered on. Tried to switch the car from the one I tested. Price changed when I went to close the paperwork. I ended up being overcharged for a lease, with no way out. I'm getting a Lexus next time, but if I were to get a Mercedes I would go to Beverly Hills

Warning to the Mercedes Customers: DO NOT Buy a car from Key

By Mic92660 on 2/12/2018 at 4:47 PM. Helped by Sales Manager.

DO NOT Buy a car from Keyes Mercedes this is a dishonest dealership. BAIT AND SWITCH!!! What old world car dealer thinks they can still conduct business like this? The Keyes European, (Mercedes-Benz)? The staff at Keyes sure do. They are duplicitous and blatantly dishonest and they lie with such ease I’m stunned. I ordered a new vehicle, a vehicle I had built, it was my dream car. I waited excitedly and with great anticipation for three months (I had waited a long time to buy this car). Finally last week when my car arrived, I showed up in Van Nuys to pick it up and the Sales Manager informed that Keyes would charge me would not give me the $1000 discount I was promised in email but that an extra $10,000 charge was being added to my vehicle. I was exasperated, furious and at a total loss. I was told my agreement with them invalid and I misunderstood their terms. This is absolutely unethical and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce. I am truly horrified by my experience at Keyes and I will never purchase a Mercedes-Benz product again.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Easy purchase

By Laguna on 1/26/2018 at 11:45 PM. Helped by Ilan.

Ilan is a smart and considerate gentleman. He made buying a car not just easy but enjoyable. We were unable to visit the dealership. We negotiated all matters in good faith on the phone and he delivered the MB a few hours later. More importantly, Ilan spent an hour with wife acquainting her with all the options and how to’s. If you are considering a MB and like easy, call Ilan

Buyer Beware!

By Dhess7911 on 8/3/2017 at 11:38 PM. Helped by Simon.

I purchased my used 2013 Mercedes E350 from Keyes European and all seemed well until 4 months later I called the DMV to see where my license plates were and if there might be any issues in the delay. They then informed me that Keyes had not submitted proper paperwork to switch the registration to my name. Turns out the DMV had sent numerous letters telling Keyes to submit my smog paperwork, but they clearly ignored these. I was instructed to call Keyes about it and guess what? They sold me a car without smog testing it! They first said I needed to bring my car in to get it registered, which is absurd. Then after I said no, they said, well it actually needs to be smog tested. The seriously tried to con me to bringing my car in without telling me they forgot to smog it! Very dishonest! I was outraged that a "reputable" certified Mercedes dealership could let something like this slip. How can you sell a car without smog testing it? It is actually against the law and if my car failed the test, they would be ******! When I called, there was no apology or any type of recovery. I was told it was not a big issue and they are very busy and this one "slipped" through the cracks. Being said, they let me drive this car around for 4 months before I informed them of their own mistake. What if something was wrong with the car? I was outraged they can have an oversight like this. What is even better is they asked ME to come from where I live in Santa Monica to get it smog tested. They did not even own up to it and say sorry and I will send someone right away with a loaner and get it back to you. I was the one that had to insist on this. I finally arranged for the car pickup and the service manager said he would fill my tank for the trouble. Since that was the case I didn't bother filling my tank that week, but still had a little less than a quarter left when I gave to them. They returned my car the next day with the tank BELOW E! Leaving me with NO gas and now I have to drive and risk getting stranded while looking for gas. I texted the sales rep that dropped it off and the response was "Oh I didn't see it was that low". This is quite the story considering whenever there is a low tank an alert will come up. I talked to the GM about everything and he was very straight to the point and gave off the same "it happens all the time" and "it's not a big issue". For all this trouble and negligence, one would think that they would want to regain my trust and make the situation right, but that was not the case. It was brushed off just like the most likely many instances they had before. Look, this place is one of the largest sellers of Mercedes in California. They want to get you in and out as fast as they can without caring about the quality and safety of what you are buying. Clearly this is all about the money and whose to blame them? I just know I will be choosing a new dealership when we are due to buy my wife's car. Just be over cautious with these sneaky people.

The worst service dept I have been in the last 25 years

By Niku10 on 7/8/2017 at 1:48 AM. Helped by Karen.

As a dealer been in the used car business for the last 25 years, and been in so many different service dept and specially MBZ service , clearly this is absolute worst. I have been going to Santa Monica and Beverly Hills MBZ for many years for different issues for many different cars, with good to excellent results. This time out of necessity, I had to go to Keyes European Which I wish I had never gone. Experience was terrible Treatment was terrible Result was absolute worse If you don't want to be treated like an idiot , don't go there.

Worst service dept I have ever encountered!

By FF on 6/9/2017 at 8:46 PM. Helped by it was a nick name- can't remember..

God be with you if you have to deal with them. I took my C300/2015 for a diagnostic service and repair; it took them ONE week to tell me they don’t know what it is exactly. It took them another 3 days to tell me they have to open the engine and it may not be under warranty (even though I only had 30K and up to 50K is under warranty). They asked for $7K to open the engine and find out what the problem is. I took my car out of Keyes and took to Calabasas. They fixed the car in 5 days (including the weekend) NO CHARGE! Blessings,

Horrible Experience

By Courtney007 on 5/12/2017 at 11:48 AM. Helped by I wish I had the guys name I could possibly figure it out I someone had returned my call.

I came in for service before a road trip across country to Texas. I was denied service because my service light wasn't on and dash read that I had 1300 miles before service. I then insisted I get it serviced as I didn't want to drive through the desert without an oil change etc plus I could hear the stress on the engine already. I didn't catch the guys name but he was fairly young and said I would be fine to drive to Texas and get it serviced when I got there. Mind you this was 1300miles before I hit 20k miles which service is covered under. I get to Texas and I'm now 500 miles over my 20k covered service. Now I'm to pay out of pocket for something I was covered for in my lease agreement. I called and left a message to service manager in regards to my issue and being declined service in which no one returned my call. Bad customer service. I would suggest Encino Mercedes for sales or service.

Ridiculous experience

By Dundel AG on 3/31/2017 at 10:22 PM. Helped by General Sales Manager.

I went there to get a new car. After negotiation and finance office, I was outside waiting for my new car delivery when their general sales manager approached me and told that they wouldn't give me the car, and the sale was cancelled. He was very rude and said that he didn't care much about their customer service, and if they lost one client, another one would always be there. It was after I signed all paperwork, gave them my check and they ran my credit history! It's a closest to me MB dealer, and I don't even service my car there which I bought the next day from another dealer. It's an extremely unprofessional company.

Should get in Writing and very dishonest!

By Jack Jr on 3/29/2017 at 5:57 PM. Helped by Darren Arnaud and Eduard Amirkhanyan.

I was recommended to this dealership from a fellow co-worker! He told me to call Simon Sarriedine the GM of the store. He had Eduard Amirkhanyan a salesman call call me. I told him I'm looking for a MB Metrix for my brother. My brother went down there and tried to get approved for one. He couldn't so they asked me to co sign, so i did. Then they call me back and say the van needs to just go into your name only way to get it done and Eduard told me that we can refinance the van in a few months to get a better rate and add my brother. I said ok. They sent me paperwork overnight to sign, as i am in Florida, with the 20th of feb on the documents. I held them for 3 weeks as i was trying to see if i can get another bank to put my brother on the loan to as the van is really for him. I called Eduard, on or about March 6th to let him know that i want the van and could he send me new paperwork with the correct dates as i don't want to make a payment in 10 days after my brother takes del. Eduard said, i talked to the finance manager and just send those contracts back and he will fix it. So i sent it back. My brother picked up the Van on the 16th of March. I started getting msgs on the 22nd from Allied Bank saying that I am past due. So I called Eduard to let him know whats going on and he said he will handle it. i waited 2 day no answer. So i called left a msg for Simon and 1 hour later I got a call from Darren Arnaud the sales manager and i explained to him what happened. He said sorry but I'm not paying $250.00 to redo the contracts. As i explained to him thats not what i was told by the salesman, He said i will go Motherf... the salesman and get to the bottom of this and call you back. That was 5 days ago! No phone call back. Not even an apology. I would never recommend these guys to anyone. They are dishonest and dont even call back. Anyone thinking about buying a vehicle from these people, DONT! They are not good people and they dont do what they say! If you want and more feedback email me @ jackjr6969@icloud.com!
