Purchased new Cruze

By Roger on 12/7/2018 at 5:59 PM. Helped by steve, trell.

My credit is a little soft after my divorce but I was about to stop in with a small downpayment. Steve was helpful in leading me to the right vehicle. I test drove that night and was able to drive home. After owning the vehicle for a few weeks I was even able to stop back in and they washed my car for free.

I would recommend this dealer.

Selling trucks that have been in floods.

By Takenadvantageof1978 on 9/29/2018 at 2:55 AM. Helped by Billy parsons sales and brooklynn (rockwell) parsons now husband n wife..

Bought a 2013 GMC extend a cab 4x4 with 65800 miles it had been in a flood sold at auction drove 2 miles from the dealership.they told me it had one owner not true it had been leased to multiple companies oil field. Over a month it rained water was coming out of the head liner the top of the cab had two holes in it. I was showed the truck after dark in the dark they had a bed liner in the bed took it out an the bed was rusted up had dried mud and rocks under the liner I took it to a body shop they estimated that it would cost a little over 7000 dollars to fix the bed. There was problems with the tires and rims every single one had to be replaced. Rust and rocks in and on the frame dirt that had been painted over around the rear wheels over dirt packed in the frame. The hood of the truck was not shutting down all the way had to get it adjusted plus a few dents in the body of the truck after all the interest the price of the truck was 29500 dollar's which two months later they were selling brand new truck's for 29999 dollars. If anyone wants to deal with this dealership warning they lie cheat steal your money I should bring a law suit against this dealership. Please people if you are going to buy a car or truck from this dealership take it to a mechanic of your choice to get it looked over. Don't trust anything they tell you. bad business practices very bad!

Completely Tried To Rip Off A Veteran

By MDWeems on 9/28/2018 at 12:34 AM. Helped by Roger, Mike.

We went in to look at some of the trucks since Chevy has a lot of deals right now. The only reason we are even considering buying a new car is for the warranty as my husband is a disabled veteran and about to have another neck surgery, so we don't want to be worried about a vehicle needing worked on at all. All of our current vehicles are paid off completely. After being shown several new trucks (which is what we went in to look at), we were then told to wait a bit until they could try to get us financed. We were called later that afternoon and told they had gotten us financed with about $3k down and to come on up. We drove the 30 minutes to the dealership only to be told that the salesman told us wrong and that they hadn't gotten us financed yet. The next day, we got an answer back that they could get us financed, but "not at a payment that they would sell it to us at". The salesman claimed that the payment was so high that he just couldn't sell it to us, but never told us the payment amount or what we had been financed for. Instead, we were directed to the used cars. We looked through their used cars online and found a couple that we liked that were still under warranties. When we asked about them, we were told they'd check on financing - again, we were never told what they had us approved for. The following day (this is day 3), we were told that they couldn't get us financed for either of the cars that we liked but they did get us financed on a new trade in they had, a GMC Terrain - which is a car model we'd considered. This particular car had pretty much everything we wanted except a warranty and had a bit higher miles than what we were really wanting. The 'manager' we had been dealing with had told us the price was $17,700 and that it had not been detailed yet and that there was just some 'minor' damage to the car that they would fix. However, we went to look at it and see if we could finally find out what we'd been financed for. When we got there, we were shown a 2016 GMC Terrain that had a cracked windshield, had damage to the front quarter panel and the front bumper, and had the hydraulics out on the back hatch. So, immediately it would have to be in the shop if we bought it. Plus, it had never even been checked by their mechanics for safety issues or problems. They ushered us into the office and then a 'manager' that we'd never met came in and told us that the payments we'd been approved at were $544-555 at 21% interest for 69 months - do the math on this, that's $37,536-$38,295 for an almost 3 year old car AND less than the price of the new trucks we had been looking at. This is also with us putting down $2000 and trading in a paid off car that Kelly Blue Book values for trade in at $4500-5500. We told them that was way too high and there was no way and got up to walk out. The 'manager' went back with his sheet and then came back. He started to show us where the price of this 2016 GMC Terrain was now $23,600-ish and tried to tell us that "this is what the bank makes us charge", saying this was all bank fees on up to the $37-38K. When we pointed out we were told the vehicle was $17,700, he told us he had no idea where the other guy had gotten that number. (They have an identical vehicle on the lot with less miles and no damage for $19,900 that's listed on their website.) At this point, we got up and walked out. I have NEVER been treated like I was this stupid in my life. Our credit has been run over 13 times each (for both my husband and I), sometimes multiple times for the same place. So, now our scores have dropped over this 3+ day period and we now worry about trying to go anywhere else because of what they have done with running our credit. It is absolutely ridiculous that they would try to do this to anyone, much less a veteran.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Scamming people.

By ReginaH on 6/13/2018 at 11:06 PM. Helped by Scott Boatman(sales) Andy(location manager).

PLEASE SHARE! SCAM ALERT!! This dealership is running scams on customers to generate revenue. They tell you that you have been approved for a loan on their cars then when its OUTSIDE of the thirty days to tag your vehicle the "bank" sends out a letter denying your application so when it's time to get the vehicle back to them they charge you as if it was a rental care charging more than 30 cents a mile!! Scam scam scam! Their Facebook page is set up so people can not leave reviews (go figure). So I'm doing my best to keep this from happening to others. I did find a web site with reviews similar to mine but if you aren't researching the dealership they do their best to keep things like this from going public. Our trade in blew a valve stem when we got the dealership, originally, and their service department charged us 125 dollars because our steam has a pressure censor in it. Well, Andy, the supposed dealership manager told us he would take a post dated check for two days so we could go ahead and get our vehicle back and the lying jerk cashed it anyway!! Thanks for that by the way. Andy told me point blank that he would be happy to "work with us" over this deal cause he didn't want a bad review. Well, he didn't keep his wordslike everyone else there. So I'm going to be leaving this review EVERWHERE I can! The initial experience was less than ideal. We went there due to the "credit immunity " program they advertise in our area. It's a lie. Straight up. Don't expect any kind of immunity. They ran our credit SEVEN TIMES, thanks for the credit hits guys. When we got there they wouldn't let US look at vehicles and only brought us ONE to test drive. And you guessed it! It wasnt what we were wanting. But we cooperated and it actually was a nice ride and good on MPG so we went forward cause the salesman Scott promised it was in our price range but would never actually quote the price.the payments were 180 dollars over what we wanted so OBVIOUSLY it was higher than our range but that didn't matter. And remember. The vehicles we WANTED to look at were well within our range. Well, the payments were not unmanageable and I liked it, so we moved forward. Fast forward 30 days, the day it would have been tagged and we get the letter from the bank! Andy is a liar and absolutely should NOT be trusted when you deal him.

Not Recommended

By Ruthwill on 8/16/2017 at 10:30 PM. Helped by Female Service Rep.

Took my Silverado here prior to.a long road trip for an oil change & overall checkup. They wanted to do a 4x4 service, though my truck is NOT 4x4. Since I bought my tires there, they rotated my tires. On the way home I noticed a shimmy at speeds around 70 mph. The next day I got a notice on the dash that my tire pressure needed attention. Took the truck back & was told I have two sensors going bad & would cost approximately $150 each to replace. I had no problems with the truck prior to this visit. I assumed the shimmy would go away once the rotated tires "evened out" & decided to buy a tire pressure gauge for $10 rather than replace the sensors. After my 3000 mile trip, the shimmy is worse & have to reset the dash tire warning each time I start the truck. Won't be going back to Keystone Chevrolet & warn others not to, either!

3 hours of pure frustration!

By Hadleykerrie2972 on 7/28/2017 at 12:35 PM. Helped by Andy.

Started out no problem can get you done. After 3 hours of back and forth, need co signer, need more money down ($4,000) offered 1 vehicle - a completely hail damaged with busted windows and taillight. 2017 Trax. When I said I didn't want the hail damaged vehicle and would need the broken things fixed - they told me there was nothing I could do. Discouraged we drove to Jim Norton - 98th & memorial and was approved within 15 minutes. Found the car I WANTED and was approved with minimal money down and financed through Toyota Financial. Keystone is a HORRIBLE place that will take complete advantage of you.

They advertise even if you owe more than your car is worth they can help. This is not true. I tills them about my vehicle and the balance, they still told me to come in, wasted 2 hours of my time and then acted like I was below them. Will never go back. Not a professional dealership.

Horrible Service

By ******** on 6/22/2017 at 1:14 AM. Helped by Micheal Lopez.

Spent a total of 6 hours trying to get into a vehicle. After interest the car total cost was almost double the worth of the car. I told my husband I didn't want to get stuck with a vehicle with so much hail damage for that price. The salesman has called both of our phones continuously. After my husband told him we didn't want it he hung up, he continued to text my phone and call. My husband told the salesmen he didn't want the car.

bunch of crooks

By Remolian on 2/7/2017 at 10:34 AM. Helped by don't remember.

The service department is a joke. Do not waste your money on their warranty. I bought a car that still under warranty and then purchased the optional extended warranty that adds another couple grand to final sales price. Few months later I had to go to Walmart to pick up some prescriptions and had my oil changed while I was there. A couple of days later my check engine light came on so I ran it to keystone. After about ten minutes the guy came back and said the oil dipstick wasn't pushed in all the way so the car thought it had a leak but his guys deserved to get paid and charged me $125 for an hours labor. He was very unpleasant, rude and I ended up leaving feeling like I was robbed. Why did I spend all that money to make sure my car was covered if I can't even take my car in when the check engine light comes on without worrying if I'll be nickle and dime to death. Unless I'm positive it's a warranty issue I will never take my car back to those crooks. I'll take it to a mechanic I trust and if it turns outs to a covered problem take it keystone and hope they don't screw me over again.

Terrible service department

By barbeegirl06 on 1/23/2017 at 4:47 AM. Helped by David.

Kayla B.’s Reviews Keystone Chevrolet Keystone Chevrolet Car Dealers 1/20/2017 1.0 star rating First issue I had was with an oil change. They didn't put the dipstick back after the oil change. I discovered this about 2 weeks after the service. Common sense? Second, I took my car in for repairs after it was stolen. The vehicle was not wrecked, just a few things on the interior, small reapir on the roof, and switching out the locks/keys. They had my vehicle for 4 weeks....basically a MONTH, and half the time it just sat in the shop. I was never called with updates as to what the status was with my car, I had to constantly call them to find out what was going on. I was even lied to when I asked if my car was at the body shop, they told me it was, when in fact it had never left the dealership. Also, I was told they would give me a "loaner car", which they ended up charging me $30/day for. When I asked why they didn't inform me of the price, they had no answer at first, but then got an attitude with me and said "well, you didn't ask". The last time I checked, it's standard protocol to inform a customer of what they'll be charged for a rental. They proceeded to charge my insurance company a total of almost $5k. There's no way it should have cost that much. Absolutely ridiculous. I WILL NOT do business with this establishment in the future.

Stereotypical Used Car Experience

By JSGC on 10/31/2016 at 6:35 PM. Helped by Justin, Joshua.

We found the car we wanted online and I came to check it out on 9/30. The salesperson quoted me $1,000 more than the online asking price. I returned the following day where we requested a different salesperson. When negotiating a price, he repeatedly subtracted our down payment, saying, "well, because of your down payment, you're really only paying $X." No, that is not how math works. We purchased the car regardless and left the lot with an empty gas tank and to find they'd applied a tacky dealership logo to the car while we were in financing. On 10/27, we were stranded, leaving the hospital with an hours-old newborn, when the battery malfunctioned. We called Keystone the next day and made the first available service appointment. After evaluating the car, they called to inform us the battery would need to be replaced and it was not covered by our extended service package. No offer was made to mitigate the fact we haven't even owned this car for a month. All in all, this is what people expect from sleazy used car sales. Could it have been worse? Of course. For what we paid for the car, did we deserve better? I think so.

Story changes

By Trshepard on 7/9/2016 at 3:26 PM. Helped by Ricardo and jody.

So my wife and I were lied to twice by 2 keystone Chevrolet employees. don't listen to there radio advertisement it's a lie to. First guy got our paper work done let us test drive the equinox that we wanted. Then to only tell us we only have 17 so the 20% off deal will only work on 16 and we don't have anymore. Its like you could have told us that be fore you insisted on us drive 2hours away to only tell us we don't have anymore.. I talked to second guy told him about the first guy he wanted to say something about him but he didn't. So I started telling him our deal he said we can get that for you. I told we were told you didn't have anymore 2016 equinox he said I think there's still some yeah there's 4 or 5 I said on the lot he said yeah. We were almost back home from the first experience there. He said just come on back down we can get the deal done. But my work has to be at work he said well can she go in late I said you will have to talk to her. He told her just tomorrow morning before 9 I can still get you the deal so we get there this morning and the guy was like what type of vehicle you want. I wanted to say I thoght we had a deal for getting one of the equinox but I never said anything. Well he went to go get car appraised. Came back if you had some that will but your car or come up with 2 or 3 thousand Then we can get it done. I said that's not even what you told us on phone. Then walked out

Highly suggest you stay away from these shiesters. All smiles and lollipops when you buy your car but try getting good customer service when you go in for repairs. Ripped off on repairs. Ripped off on an inferior battery that they wouldn't make good on. This is what happens when you have hillbillies running a car dealership
