Great Buying Experience

Went in to investigate a 2018 Kia Sedona SX. Buying deal for year end clearance was not enticing, but the counter offer for leasing was exceptional! Happy experience! Drove it home this afternoon!

Disappointed Buyer

I was looking to buy a car from this dealership. Had been speaking to Jake and when my friend and I showed up we were helped by another sales person. Tried to make a deal with them the online price was about $16,000 the vehicle had some body work done to the back passenger door. We tried to see if they would lower the price and instead they came back with a $19,000 price. We asked for an explanation so the sales person had his manager come over. When we asked him what the $3,000 in accessories on a used car were; he said that it was for a sealant (car wax) that they put on the vehicle. My friend laugh and said lets go you are not going to pay for that. The manager said ok that's fine and did not do anything to get our business. Went and bought my car at another dealership.

Wait until after construction!

Wonderful salesman! However, first car had no gas, so we gassed up before driving, second car's battery was dead. Salesroom was closed due to construction, so I waited in the parking lot sun for retrieval of jumper system. Then I discovered the auto wasn't awd, didn't want to drive it after all, so requested the salesman's card. Again, I waited and waited out in the parking lot in the sun, never invited in to an air conditioned trailer. I returned to my car in the customer parking area, and it was powdered with drywall. I'd finally gone to a car wash for all of the ash from the Whittier fire, and now it was covered in a fine powder. The salesman rinsed it off for me, kudos for him, but it was not shiny, car washed clean with clear windows. I suggested Kia steer customers away from construction site parking, but he argued that there was no other option. I would like to test drive another Kia model, but cannot return to that dealership!

Leasing first time.

We are seniors and don't drive a lot, but do take trips by car. So the lease sounded good. After researching all the dealers on multiple web site's. Kirby more than matched the price of other dealerships. Nico and Matt worked with us to get the best Trade in on our Focus. Kirby also has the best customer satisfaction on service and body. We have a fixed budget and we came in way under. In three years we get another new car.

BEST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER

Bought a Kia Optima two years ago. Love it. Robert was great. The purchase was easy. But the greatness of Kirby Kia doesn't stop after you leave with your purchase. Got a low tire pressure warning. Decided to go to the dealership because honestly I have no idea what the proper pressure should be, or how much air to add. I got there after 5:30, they close at 5:30. David and Diane were closing the door. I told them my problem and they took my car to a bay, checked the pressure in all four tires, not just the one with the pressure warning. Added air to two of my tires AND checked to make sure there were no leaks. They could have easily said they were closed and sent me on my unmerry way, as I am sure most dealerships would do. Instead they went above and beyond. Kirby Kia has the best customer service. They put their customers first and that is really special.

I took my 06 Jeep Commander into Kirby Kia and Dave...

I took my 06 Jeep Commander into Kirby Kia and Dave Winters and Jeff Sukey went to bat for me with the extended warranty people. the extended warranty wanted to replace certain parts and Kirby Service said no replace the trans, converter and cooler. My transmission exploded and there was pieces of metal everywhere. I have had a lot of problems with mechanics either not knowing how to fix it, or that were just to lazy but the people at Kia in Ventura did an AWESOME job. I have to say they are probably some of the best Jeep mechanics in Ventura County. I would recommend there service department to anyone. The bays are clean, mechanics are knowledgeable and will do what it takes to get the customers vehicle taken care of.

I went to Kirby Kia just to look around. I wasn't thinking about buying a new car but I was looking around for a four cylinder SUV because the car I had was very nice for the amount of time that I needed it so it was time to change into something more practical. The experience was very professional. The sales manager and the gentlemen in finance made things a lot easier and less stressful. I am taking my car back in tomorrow morning to have a go through done and I will definitely post the final review following the check up of my purchased vehicle. At this time I would highly recommend Kirby Kia of Ventura ,but please check back and read the final review

Quite simply, these guys are DISHONEST. I came in on Saturday, Sept 14, and test drove one car. After they did the usual but silly choreography of going to talk to the manager a few times, I received a quote from the sales person, Mr. Jeff Albrizzio. He wrote the price of the car on the back of his business card. When I came back on Sunday, September 15, ready to buy, Mr. Albrizzio said “there was a misunderstanding” and that the car would be at least $3,000 more. Really?! Misunderstanding?! In writing?! After I test drove one single car which was the only car of that type they had available at the dealership?! Maybe they are that dumb, but it is a lot more likely they are D-I-S-H-O-N-E-S-T liars. Obviously, I am taking my business elsewhere and recommend you do the same. I would rather pay more for a car if that means dealing with people of honor and character. PS: I am a college professor and almost never write any kind of reviews, but hope I can keep other people from being fooled and wasting their time at Kia Ventura.

Today I bought my first Kia. Robert Papandrea was quite knowledgeable he walked me through all the many different options and features that Kia has to offer. I was impressed. I test drove the car I wanted and chose which model that was best suited for what I was looking for. He did not talk over me or push me into anything. I felt relaxed and calm it was perfect. Robert really listened and using his years of experience knew right away how to guide me in the right direction. Nothing beats experience. We have been working with Dave Howard in service at Kirby for many years and will continue to do so. He rates high because he deserves it! In all areas, he offers excellent customer service, explains what needs to be done to the car, is punctual, courteous and friendly, and goes the extra mile, as it were, to make sure we are satisfied. I am an educational consultant in a nearby school district, and Dave always makes sure I have a way to get to an office or school. He is completely reliable and honest, which is saying a lot in today's world. We originally bought our jeeps from Kirby and continue to return for service because we know you continue to provide excellent service, even though Kirby is no longer a jeep dealership.
