Awesome

By Melissa on 9/30/2017 at 11:51 AM.

I searched the internet and narrowed it down to 3 cars at 3 dealers. My first stop was Kline Nissan. I was approached by Chris Little. After sitting down with him and talking about the car he pulled it up for me. We drove it, he showed me the service dept and my shopping was done. He was awesome. I am very happy with my new/used car and Chris was great. Thank you Missy

I would recommend this dealer.

Never buy a vehicle from Kline. You will regret it

By sreinitz on 7/31/2017 at 8:15 PM.

Bought a 2015 altima from Chris Little (he is great) and Kline Nissan. A week later I was hand washing it and found that the entire car was in an accident and fixed and repainted. The car was sold to me as NO ACCIDENT CLEAN CARFAX. That was not the case at all. Took it back to them and they were going to fix it and sent it to a shop that buffed the car with rocks and scratched the crap out of it. They do not have a body shop that they would use so they told me to take it to mine. I did and found out the bumper was epoxied on because all the brace work wasnt put back after the accident. They basically told me too bad. I will never buy another car from them and I wouldnt even recommend my worst enemy to buy one from them. Chris is great, but it is too bad he works at such a shady dealership.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Transfer case leak

By Totally Satisfied on 6/7/2017 at 2:29 PM.

My daughter has had nothing but problems with her car since she bought it. The oil check light came on so she took it to the nearest Nissan dealer to fix, ( Kline Nissan on 61 in Maplewood.) The had looked at it and said the engine was tilted missing bolts, transfer case was leaking. Had it fixed or so say fixed it and the warranty co. paid 6,800.00. My daughter drove the car for 1 month and the check oil light came on again, The same problem, and the warranty co. said they would not pay for the same problem, it should have been fixed the first time. Kline Nissan wanted 2,100 more to fix and my daughter did not have that kind of money. She kept trying to go back an forth from warranty co and Kline Nissan to figure this out. This car sat there for 3 months and nothing was done to it, now finally my daughter agreed to pay 1,800 to fix and get her car back. Well yesterday she received her car back and this morning went out to start it and would not start. My husband went to jump it and said the cables around the battery were severely caroaded. When a service co. returns a car to a customer shouldn't all of this been checked. This service dept is the worst. I would not recommend this co. to buy or service a car. They are not helpful or in the interest of the customer. Now tonight her car did not start again, this time she brought it to a car repair shop and they said the battery was dead. Now it is costing her another 150.00 to get fixed.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Thank you Randy Wimer

By flyfished on 6/6/2017 at 1:19 AM.

I helped my daughter lease a new Nissan Sentra and Randy and the folks at Kline made it easy. My daughter stopped at a different Nissan dealer in town and was not treated like the young lady that she is. We drove to Kline Nissan and left with a new car! I highly recommend Randy and Kline Nissan. I'll be back again!

Oil leak 2017 Nissan Murano And 2016 Nissan Rogue

By ecke555 on 3/18/2017 at 8:12 PM.

Brought my new 2017 Nissan Murano, only 350 miles on vehicle, for a really bad oil leak, bottom of engine and body crossmember and frame coated and dripping oil, dropped it off at Kline service advisor Dan said they would look into the problem, I asked to made sure they wipe down and clean the bottom of the engine, frame and crossmember, will take care of it he told me. A few hours later I get a call from Dan, he tells me they need to order a new oil pan and oil pan gasket, it will be coming from Chicago, parts will be here the next day, I said fine, and again asked him to be sure to wipe down and clean the bottom of the engine, frame and crossmember, he said will do. Picked the vehicle up the next day all done they tell me, get home and look under the vehicle, oil was cleaned from the bottom of the engine, but they never cleaned or wiped down the frame or the crossmember, still dripping oil from both, had to jack vehicle up and clean it my self. Called Kline service to complain, Dan is gone for the day they tell me, asked to have him call me the next day, he never called me back. Total disregard for my new vehicle, it`s on a hoist and you can`t clean it up!! WOW!! My daughter had her 2016 Nissan Rogue in for service at Kline last week, recall and tire rotation, said they did the recall and rotated the tires, she got home and noticed they only rotated the tires on the drivers side of the vehicle, what the xxxx, she called Kline service, lady said they were busy and someone would call her back later that day, they never called, she called them on Monday and asked for a refund on the tire rotation, the service manager check the cameras and saw that the service tech only rotated the drivers side tires, she was told that the tech was distracted and did not rotate the passenger side tires, refund coming in the mail, will see. I`m sure glad she didn`t have her oil changed their, whoops forgot to put the oil in.

Working with Adam Bazille is always a pleasure

By Rory on 2/6/2017 at 3:57 PM.

I've purchased several vehicles from Kline Nissan. Recently I purchased a 2017 rogue SL premium. Let me start by saying this car is AMAZING. I know am the proud owner of TWO amazing nissans. My 2010 Nissan Altima is pushing 180,000 miles and still drives the way it did the day I bought it. I was so happy with the Altima I decided to give the rogue a try. It has exceeded my expectation. Working with Adam Bazille at Kline Nissan made the process so easy. Paper work was done ahead of time and I was in and out of the dealership quickly. He ran through all of the new bells and whistles and had me feeling confident about all of the new technology. I live in Wisconsin but continue to drive several hundred miles to Kline Nissan to purchase my vehicles from Adam. Anyone who is in the market for an honest, trustworthy sales person should definitely stop in and see him

I would recommend this dealer.

With a thankful heart

By L Carlson on 12/23/2016 at 2:27 AM. Helped by Jennifer A Maguire.

While driving to an appointment I heard this knocking sound.. I arrived safely but there was something hanging down about mid-car, looked like a strap to me. I called the service center, they made an appointment for my car. There was fear in my heart about what was wrong. Jennifer Maguire, the service advisor checked me in...told me NOT to worry....she directed me to coffee and when she came in a few minutes...she said..."it's what I thought it was the wind guards." I had fear that it would be very expensive she said, NO don't worry about that. HOW VERY WONDERFUL TO HAVE MY CAR FIXED. I am very thankful for the WONDERFUL service I received and for the coffee too. Thank you Kline Service team. I know that you all work together and I am so thankful for each and every one of you, I'll recommend you always. Thank you, Linda Carlson....Merry Christmas

Worst customer service experience....EVER!

By Jay on 9/28/2016 at 3:22 PM. Helped by Bryan (service manager), Ryan Kreisler (service writer).

week-Edit I took my truck in to have a HVAC issue looked at on Wednesday. They said it would be 1.5 to 2 hours. At 1.5 hours I asked for an update. Was told they were looking at it. I went for a walk around the building and there was my truck sitting out back. It hadn't even been brought into they bay. I went inside and was told they had to look at someone else's car. I insisted on a rental and went home. They called me at the end of the day and was told they couldn't find the problem. On Thursday they called me at the end of the day and was told that they still couldn't find the problem and they'd be going home in 10 minuets so I couldn't get my truck that day. Friday came and no calls. I called and left a message as to the progress and never heard from them. Saturday morning a finally got a call that I could come pick up my truck. When I arrived they told me I would be $119. I said I had an extended warranty so there shouldn't be a charge and asked what they did to correct the issue. They told me that they couldn't figure out the problem so it was a diagnostic fee. I told them that they hadn't diagnosed anything and I had gone without my truck for 3 days with almost no communication. They then said that If I wanted my truck back I was going to have to pay or they wouldn't allow me to take it. I called the service manager, Brian, and left a message. He did not call me back. I had to call again to get a hold of him. I told him of my experience and that I'd like to have some consideration on my bill. I explained the situation and that I'd been bringing my '04 Titan there since it was new until I replaced it with my '14 Titan that I had purchased there. He said just because their communication was lacking and they found nothing, they wouldn't refund me any money for my inconvenience. I told him I had been a costumer for 12 years and asked if he was willing to loose my business. He just said that if that's what I had to do then he's ok with it. They have lost my business.

Rude and intolerable employees.

By Kev on 6/14/2016 at 6:56 PM. Helped by Brian.

Took truck in to have service. Rude faces before I even approached the counter. They were mad at me because I was dropping off my wife's truck (also mine as far as paper work goes) ...instead of her.. This is an oil change and a few other regular maintenance appointment. Should be easy to drop off, have service done and a pick later in the day. Instead I almost called the police because everything turned so heated. Rude and intolerable. Talked to the manager Brian that was incapable of defusing a situation. There was nothing of quality whatsoever during this visit. I left and highly recommend finding another dealer that is more capable in doing their job and working with the public.

Bait and switch scam

By Unhappy Shopper on 12/12/2015 at 4:19 PM.

Total scam sales team. We test drove a car advertised on their site, and as soon as we sat down to talk price the sales man said he was sorry but the price just went up. As we we're leaving he offered us an older higher mileage higher price car. This bait and switch story should be a reason to never buy a car at Kline Nissan

Rusting floor

By rusty maxima on 11/23/2015 at 7:43 PM. Helped by Do not remember the service manager's name. Not one of the above..

Buyers be aware of a problem that may be a systemic design flaw with some Nissan vehicles. I bought a Maxima from Kline in 2007 and today it has 68000 miles and looks like new. However, the floor on both the passenger and driver sides have rusted through. Both sides have an area about the size of a large football in the exact same areas. This service manager said that the warrantee is expired so there is nothing they would do. I have since gotten the car repaired ($1200.00) after a lot of effort that I will not get into here. I will say that it was recommended by one of the repair facilities I visited, that I contact the NTSB as the rotting floor is a safety issue if not detected soon enough. My point to Kline was that this is an expensive automobile and it is the 21st century. This sort of deterioration should not happen. I have owned numerous, not Nissan, cars and trucks in my lifetime, keeping each 8-12 years and have never seen this sort of issue. Dealers are always very accommodating when you are looking to buy. The purchase experience is always great. What separates a great dealership from the "sales only" dealers is the willingness to be of service to owners regardless of the issue. Kline is not a great dealership!

PETE knows nothing of keeping customers

By moneybags on 9/1/2015 at 5:45 PM. Helped by I spoke with Pete about my issue, front desk said he was the used car manager.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!....wrote a check for $15,800 for a 2012 used Altima in Nov 2014 for my teenage daughter. When the time came to turn on the heat it was noticeably loud and blew out luke warm air, however was good enough to get through the winter. NOW it is WAY worse, it is really loud and still takes forever to warm the car in the winter and the air conditioning is not cold enough to cool it. Finally got some time on my hands so I called and spoke with the manager PETE and said I would like to give him the opportunity to fix it before I spend my own cash on it. He started LAUGHING and then thought about it more and started LAUGHING again!...AND he was working and talking to other people during our entire phone call! Yes, this is what Kline Nissan thinks about its customers and customer satisfaction! NONE of my family or friends will be shopping here including of course myself. I told him I'm thinking about spending something in the low 20s for a Rogue....I will not be going here or any Kline to get it. I don't know how a manager could be so careless about customer satisfaction on such a "big ticket" item where people spend thousands. I could literally walk in there today and write a personal check up to 50k and so could most of my friends and family, but NOT anymore and NOT AT KLINE if this is how their managers are trained to handle customer satisfaction. He kept saying what took me so long to contact him, I'm a single full time parent working 50 hours a week and I have to wait for opportunities to get things like this done. It was good ENOUGH for the time being but he didn't want to acknowledge what I told him, and that was it was faulty from the first time it was turned on after the sale. His final answer (after he stopped laughing and concluded his conversations with other people) was no warranty.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Really great experience

By Lamoo on 5/12/2015 at 8:44 PM. Helped by Huxley Belizaire.

Kline was our first stop on our car-leasing quest. It should have been the only one (I'm lookin' at you, Subaru). The entire staff, and Huxley in particular, somehow managed to be attentive, responsive, and interested without being pushy or high-pressure. They managed to find and dealer-trade for the mythical "White Whale" of Rogues - all the options we wanted and none we didn't - within a day of our visit. They gave us fair trade-in value on our tired old Audi and a lease rate that was borderline comical in comparison to the other brands we were shopping. Was expecting another excursion into car-haggle land. Got nothing but a great experience instead.

Very respectful and pleasant to work with. Cars are more involved than they used to be. Very informative on all the options. Navigation, blind spot monitoring, bluetooth etc. Lots to learn !!
