Great and personalize service

My vehicle engine light came on for couple days so scheduled service appointment with Kuni BMW. On the day of appointment, the engine light went off before I got there; however, the gave me a loaner car for couple days so that they will have enough time to diagnose the problem. Throughout the time the service advisor updated me of the vehicle status which I really appreciate.

This was a complimentary check up. Since i will be taking two or more driving trips this summer the timing couldn't have been better The team who performed the work took less time than the estimate I was given. Very good service.

Experience was professional and low key

Sales person Patrick Murphy was informative, professional and not pushy. He offered to have us test drive a number of vehicles, so we could make our decision. Price negotiation was straight forward and no back and forth nonsense which I like. Patrick assisted us in efficiently completing the paper work for the credit check and purchase before handing us off to finance. Beni in finance was very personable, but I have to say in all the years and cars we purchased and dealt with finance personnel, Beni I have never been subjected to a more rigorous approach to sell the aftermarket maintenance, warranty and other dealer products. His spiel was very refined, but my wife and I were somewhat annoyed by the length, as we do not normally purchase the products offered in Finance.

Unexpected service required

2015 X5 purchased pre owned with extended warranty needed unplanned maintenance. We replaced tires and also had car detailed- all of which was well done and relatively reasonable in cost (not on warranty). Car had been running irregularly at 30-40mph. Dealer said it was tires. We put on new tires (which owned- we swapped out old snow tires) aftwards dealer said they found new faults....which let to new spark plugs, thermostat, and a new battery on a car less than 30 months old. Strange how none of these were noticed before replacing tires. We got a nice loaner and car is back our hands.

Misfiring of engine

Diagnostic was a bit difficult at first. But, problem identified and repairs timely done. Pleasant surroundings. Shuttle conveniently provided. Very professional in every way. While there we addressed brakes, fluid changes. Efficient.

The difference between two dealerships

I have taken my 2008 335i to bmw of Portland and now to Kuni. I was quoted by BMW of Portland for a diagnostic error code scan of @$ 300.00. Brought it to Kuni and they only charged $160.00 and it was diagnosed as a sensor gone bad and repaired right away. Very nice.

Uncertain about the real information on the diagnostics

I just personally changed my spark plugs on my car. Brand new ones and check all the car fuses compartment all fuses where replaced and check but the technician stayed that My car needed new spark plugs and fuses where checked and that he found no response. Plus other diagnosis that was questionable to me ????

Very professional and knowledgeable staff. They had to special order my tire and set me up with a loaner for the entire weekend because my car was deemed unsafe to drive. Didn’t try to up sell me and just focused on what I need. Great job Kuni🙂

Helpful thorough. Simple sales process

We ordered our car. Salesman kept us fully apprised of timing process. When we picked up our car they were quick to prep it and make it available on our best schedule. The paperwork process was very simple and fast without hidden line of gimmicks to drag out the process. That alone is wortho the extra cost of a BMW. This dealer made the buying process so pleasant. Drove 20 miles to deal with it hem and so far glad I did.

Kuni BMW Service Department Experience

My experience at Kuni BMW’s service department was adequate. The individual that helped with my vehicle was courteous enough but fairly condescending at times. Phone calls were returned promptly.....until they found out that I was going to have my car fixed somewhere else that had the after market parts I needed. I would still recommend Kuni BMW.
