I purchased a Highlander in Feb of 2014 and was helped by Bruce Klanderud , and was very happy with the deal we completed. When I went in to have my Highlander serviced, in Jan of 2019, I talked to Jay Bernards, as Bruce was out of town for the winter. I test drove a 2015 Highlander Limited, and a 2018 Highlander Limited. The deal they presented me on the 2018 Highlander was extremely fair, along with the trade in price on my 2010 Highlander. It was a deal I couldn't pass up!!!! I loved my 2010 Highlander Limited, and in the short time I've had my 2018 Highlander, I love it just as much or even more. This dealership it great! There is no pressure to buy, and they treat you with the utmost of respect. I plan on doing more business with LAKE COUNTRY TOYOTA. Also I want to complement the Service Department on their help!!!!!

Very Fair, Good Experience and left Very Satisfied

Just purchased a used Toyota Venza from Lake Country. I did a good amount of research and shopping online. The best thing I did was purchase a subscription to CarFax and used it to print out six or so history reports on cars I was considering. They also had pricing information to help know what a fair price would be. Cargurus.com also was helpful for searching for cars and what is considered 'fair pricing'. I narrowed my car options to three cars that were for sale from three different dealers. Lake Country was my first stop and I traveled about 80 miles. The Venza I purchased had a nice CarFax report, with most of the service work done by a Walser Toyota dealer (of which Lake Country is part). Lake Country's original asking price was a little high, but instantly adjusted their price to be in line with suggested Blue Book and other price guides. My contact with Lake Country was Dan Bradford and he was a gentleman, helpful and responsive. Not your stereo type / sitcom car sales guy. He made the price fair, we went on a good test drive, answered every question and gave me a fair allowance on an old junk car trade in. It was just like dealing with an old friend. I also had contact with several other staff and they were all polite and genuine. I am completely satisfied with my used car purchase from Dan Bradford and Lake Country Toyota.

Used car from Cory

Drove up from the cities and purchased a car from Cory. He was very friendly and even answered most of my questions over the phone. The car was exactly as he described and I test drove, and bought the car and heading home in less than 20 minutes (by my design and Cory's help). Couldn't be happier.

Buying new car

I was very happy with the service that I received during the whole experience. I didn't feel any kind of pressure when I was looking to instantly go and buy the car that I was interested in and made my decision on what to buy a lot easier when I did go back to buy my car. Dan was very helpful and was very friendly and the information he gave me on the cars that I initially looked at was excellent. I would definitely go back the next time I am looking for a car!

This dealership bar none, has the best customer service we’ve ever experienced. We’ve owned Fords, Cadillac, Chrysler’s, and Lincoln and absolutely none could compare to the level of service we’ve received at Lake Country Toyota. When you meet general manager Josh Miles and salesman Bruce Klanderud as well Kyle and Tyler in the service department, you’ve met a team of people that care about you and your car. This is the third Toyota we’ve purchased at Lake Country in the past six years. Love our Highlander! Purchasing our newest Highlander was a breeze. We had no intention of buying a car at this particular time but when we went to look at the inventory everything just fell into place. There was no dickering. We had done our homework on what a good trade in value was for our car. They met our expectations on price, trade in value and financing. I worked with Brian Salisbury and he was awesome! I inquired about 2 vehicles late on a Friday night and he emailed back with some info. Dan Bradford also emailed me and he was very nice but was not there on Saturday. The late night mails were totally Unexpected! I drove almost 2 hours the next morning and Brian had the 2 vehicles I was interested in washed and waiting for me to test drive. He was with some other people so he just handed me the keys and let me go for test drives. I picked the one I wanted and felt Brian was very fair and respectful during negotiations. It was a great experience and I would recommend Lake Country Toyota to anyone who is car shopping! Thank you Brian!

VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER

On 8/24/2017 I e-mailed Lake Country Toyota showing interest in a 2000 Chevrolet Corvette (their stock number15AA042P VIN #1G1YY32G6Y5125048) that they were/are advertising for sale. Brian Salisbury (salesman) replied to my inquiry by stating that he represents the Lake Country Toyota/Scion internet team. He then stated that I had made a great choice as this vehicle is one of the best values in their inventory. We then connected on the telephone and briefly discussed the Corvette. One of the first questions that I asked was if the tires were the original tires or if they had been replaced recently. He said that he would check and call me back shortly. Mr Salisbury called me back stating that the tires in fact had been replaced on 4/12/2016. I thanked him for checking and then I decided to drive to Baxter to check out and test drive the Corvette. (102 mile drive one way) I arrived at the dealership and was met by Brian Salisbury. We checked over the car and I then took it for a test drive. I was impressed on how the car handled and looked. I was not impressed with the wind noise and the stiff suspension. I told Brian Salisbury and their Sales Manager just that. We then sat down and talked price etc. They wanted me to drive off in the unit but I told them I had to sleep on it. On Monday morning 08/28/2017 I called Brian and made an outright offer on the unit. He talked with the General Manager Josh Miles and Josh then called me. We agreed upon a price based upon me "checking the Corvette over and making sure that everything worked to my satisfaction. " I then drove to the dealership and upon arrival went to find Brian Salisbury. He was busy with another customer so I told him I was going to go check out the car. The first thing that I checked was the DOT code on the tires. I was SHOCKED. The tires were the original tires that came on the Corvette that was manufactured in 2000. That is 17 plus years old. I couldn't believe my eyes. It is not only a huge safety concern but to replace the tires on the Corvette would cost me in excess of $1200.00. I then discussed the situation with the General Manager, the Service Manager and the parts manager. Not one of them knew how to read a DOT code. I then decided to WALK. I do not and would not recommend Lake Country Toyota to anyone. They rely on Car Fax. I rely on bending over and getting down on your hands and knees and read The DOT Code. The evidence is clear: tires should have an expiration date. Older tires are substantially more likely to fail than newer ones. This is because tires are made mostly of rubber, and rubber degrades with age. Sunlight, heat, ice, and general wear and tear can accelerate the breakdown of a tire. Once a tire begins to break down, it becomes more likely to fail in the form of a tread separation–often at highway speeds, when the failure is most likely to cause catastrophic injuries or death. For most tires, this expiration date should be six years from the date of manufacture. Tires age dangerously because of a chemical process commonly referred to as oxidation, which simply means that as the tire components are exposed to oxygen, the oxygen particles cause the flexible components of a tire to harden and bec?ome brittle. Over time, the tire will simply fall apart under normal stress, just like an old rubber band. Because this process occurs naturally, it does not matter if a tire is being used, stored as a spare, or simply waiting on a store shelf for an unsuspecting consumer.

Unrewarding buying experience

Low end on trade- in valuation (passed on trading in) No room to negotiate on used vehicle price, not a single dollar and this was on a no trade transaction . Almost no need for a used car salesperson, just hang a tag in the window. Sales person was a great guy but appeared handcuffed by dealership policy. On the upside, I did find an exceptional vehicle.

Horrible service stay clear

Bought a vehicle with a payoff quote on my trade.. here I am over a month later and they never mailed the check in on my trade in... I have late fees and dinging my credit because of them!! Stay clear! Called four times now they keep promising to fix but here we are getting screwed over! Update - Blames my bank.. for having multiple PO boxes. not taking responsibility. what a joke.. unprofessional.. such a huge waste of my time. You would think that they could have made some effort to make things right, apologize to me for having to call 5 times now...I won't be back to buy another vehicle from them.. that is for sure.

My husband and I just bought our 2014 Nissan Altima here, and we loved the entire experience. We had been putting off buying a new car because we know how big the hassle can be dealing with car dealers. We actually really enjoyed our experience at Lake Country Toyota. Adam helped us find the perfect car with everything we needed, and since we are old he even taught us how to use "Bluetooth." He was so helpful and friendly.
