Great experience purchasing my sixth car from them

This is the best dealership in Arizonia ,if you are looking for a Rover. This is the sixth car I purchased from them, And sent all of my friends. Kyle the manager always has the right attitude and wants to make his customers happy. Ray the salesman even came to my house after the sale to program the garage door. Always a happy and fair experience dealing with them.

Terrible Dealership

I went and ordered a brand new Range Rover several months ago. I recently called to check up on my order, and found out they never even placed the order. They didn't apologize, offer me any discount for treating me so badly. Eventually after I got so angry and went to the dealership to complain to the manager, I was "offered" to buy one of their vehicles on the lot, but no discount, in fact it would cost me over the MSRP because they had added a lot of useless stuff that I didn't want, like some additional security system, and refused to take it off and insist I pay for it. This is by far the worse experience I have ever had buying a new car.

I would not recommend this dealer.

An absolutely ATROCIOUS service experience.

Look Out! I have nothing but praise in working with Michael Dilello. He is honest and goes the extra mile to help out in dealing with issues. Unfortunately he was on vacation for three weeks, and I experienced an electrical failure that needed immediate diagnosis. I requested via the website Mel Charles. He initially dealt with me on the vehicle and was very courteous and competent. They explained they were quite backed up in the shop and may not have time to work on it till monday. I was afforded a loaner vehicle in the meantime. I was clear that if the repairs were exorbitant, I would be declining the repairs and having them done elsewhere. I requested for diagnosis and for them to call with a quote on necessary repairs for the vehicle. Two hours later I get a call from Michael Wagner, who I DID NOT request to handle my repairs. He rattles off a laundry list of repairs, about 6 items in total, averaging 1600 dollars PER line item. He then tells me that the instrument cluster reported a failure code, and that item alone is 3800 dollars. He then proceeded to play good cop and tell me that there is likely nothing to worry about with the instrument cluster but that I will need a new alternator at a cost of 2800 dollars, combined parts and labor, Air oil separator and necessary hoses, 1600, Steering sensor control, 300, etc... I then told him I needed a bit of time to think about how this was going to be handled, particularly the cost of all of this. It then made me think about trading the vehicle. And then I realized how this scam worked. So anyway, I call Michael Wagner back, and get voicemail. I left him a message to do only the steering sensor calibration (300) and since I needed the air oil separator, Id have the owner of JSE Automotive, change the oil at that time. He then ordered an oil change for the vehicle and a sensor recalibration, which was successful. When I got the vehicle in to Jason Schwab at JSE Automotive, he went off the shop ticket diagnosis, not the email I recieved. I was under the impression that all these things were wrong with the vehicle. I was suspicious about the air oil separator, particularly the price. 800 dollars for parts and 800 dollars for labor for that seemed REALLY RIDICULOUS. So I checked online for the necessary parts. It totaled a little over 175.00 for all of it. Hmm... Later that day, I was told by the owner of JSE Automotive that the vehicle was all done. It troubled me that he found a bad bearing on the water pump, which was missed by Land Rover North Scottsdale. He also found that the clutch on the engine driven cooling fan was inop as well. He also tested the battery, which is something Land Rover service should have found in their inspection process. It had a failed cell. When I asked him if he had replaced the air oil separator, he said... it didnt need it. I asked him if he found any oil in the intake and throttle body, which is what Michael Wagner told me on the phone. It was completely clean, and the hose from the separator running up to the intake was free and clear. Hmm... I call B.S. For the cost of one line item I resolved all of the valid discrepancies found in the shop that were detailed on the garage ticket. If I had gone along with what I was told by Michael Wagner in his email, and the song and dance he did on the phone, I would have wasted at least 6500.00. It makes me wonder how many others he has potentially defrauded in this manner. I have requested Jaguar Land Rover USA to investigate this issue, and may decide to have the county attorney investigate as well. This man has a real ethical issue.

My husband I went to this dealership "thinking" about purchasing a used Land Rover. We were introduced to our salesman John Puma. BEST LAND ROVER SALESMAN EVER!!!! John is a former lead mechanic for Land Rover and knows all there is to know about the vehicle, the bad years, the good years and mechanical details that we were happy to learn about. I learned so much about my new vehicle and felt very confident in purchasing with John at the helm. At no time did we feel pressured - in fact John made the whole experience very pleasant. The finance process was painless and we were treated wonderfully the whole time. I absolutely love my vehicle and will be back as a repeat customer of this delearship. If you are in the market for a Land Rover I highly recommend asking to work with John Puma. I know I will be asking for him the next time I purchase a Land Rover.

Its the 3rd Land Rover I have purchased form Land Rover Scottsdale and i have yet to ever leave dissatisfied. John Parske in Sales has sold me two of my Rovers and sold me one of my BMW's when he was at that Dealership. John made the new car buying experience pleasant, efficient and not salesy. Everything form the test drive to the pick up of the car was great. We drove the car and then returned only to sign paperwork and leave, no wasted time and no playing that "i have to check with my manager" or "what will it take to get you into that car today" spiel. Highly recommend the service department as well. Michael Wagner my Service contact is fantastic and has always delivered on his promise. Overall I highly recommend this Dealership, actually all of the dealerships in the complex as I have had the same experience at Jaguar, Porsche, VW and Bentley.

Best car buying experience of our lives! We were turned down by several banks for financing but Jon Parske worked diligently until he found a bank willing to work with us. There was never any pressure to purchase any extras or warranties. The process was unbelievably quick. Jon bent over backwards for us and we will be Land Rover customers for life!

As a LR4 owner, I am proud to say that I use my “Henry”...

As a LR4 owner, I am proud to say that I use my “Henry” for what he was built to do…explore unique, beautiful, and sometimes remote wilderness areas in Arizona! (Sure, he takes me to work in style too!) Henry is the first vehicle that I have ever purposely taken off road, so it has been a learning experience (thank you AZLRO club –www.azlro.org). I am pleased to say that Michael Dilello has been through it all with me. Patiently explaining the ins & outs of what to expect w/regards to Henry & off-roading. For example, who knew mud on the inside of your 20” tire rims would be enough to throw them off balance? Michael did, now I do too! My latest off-roading adventure (doing the back road to Crown King) included a popped tire! Well, not popped, but a pretty deep rock cut which resulted in having to replace it with my spare. In addition, to the tire damage, poor Henry’s paint was looking a little beat up (mind you he is only 3 months old.) Unfortunately Henry has had way too many close encounters, & not with the 3rd kind; but with the “sharp & scratchy” kind – branches, bushes, you name it. Yes, he had acquired what is more commonly known as Arizona Pin-striping. Once again, I reached out to Michael for help. I just picked him up from LRNS and am amazed at how gorgeous he looks! He looks like he just stepped off the showroom floor. Naturally, not every scratch is done as I wanted to be mindful of removing any clear coat. I have forewarned all the boys in the AZLRO club that they will now need to break out the clippers again, as I am going to be in a panic about getting too close to anything that may mar Henry’s new wax job! And, yeah I assume the new full size spare is fine too…sorry, totally enthralled with how beautiful Henry is again. LOL. Long story short – Michael at LRNS always takes fantastic care of Henry & me. He makes me feel like he is my personal Service Advisor & that I can call him for anything (and I do..well ok, I send him emails w/a bulleted list). He’s stuck with us for life! Thank you Michael & LRNS for always taking such good care of us!

In a word Exceptional!! Thats how I would rate our experience with Cheryl Wolfe. Let me start at the begining if I may. We bought a pre-owned Freelander in Feburary and we were very proud to be Land Rover owners. till all the strange anomalies started to happen. The Dealer that sold us the vehicle sent it to every "Cousin Vinny" mechanic he knew but I can only assume they were all scratching their heads because when we got it back the engine compartment looked like a team of kindergardeners had a field day with it. Our frustrations began to mount at an exponental level when the next set of mechanics it was sent to seemed to be, well Pre Schoolers..(again) Whew. Then it was sent to "Fayed Tech Import Motor Repair" they did identify what was thought to be some of the problems but we still had issues (heck a whole subscription) with this Vehicle. So Finally after all the debacles and worries and nights of lost sleep the Vehicle of my dreams (Short of a masarati..hey I can dream right?..) was brought to "Land Rover of North Scottsdale" its true natural habitat. Cheryl Wolfe quickly went to work to put us at ease and try to give us peace of mind. The mechanic she assigned to our baby must have true etheral gifts because it appears the problems have been solved.(this guy is sooo getting a full on MAN HUG!!) So Today we go to reclaim our baby and I cant wait to get all "Vin Diesel" with it. (um kidding..kinda) Cheryl you and your team have gone to the top of my Christmas Card list and well I just might have to send an Elf as well, Thank you, Thank You..THANN HANN HANK YOOOO!! The staff at Land Rover was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They were very efficient throughout the sales process and did not waste our time. Jon, our Salesman, was by far and away the easier sales person we have ever dealt with at a dealership. He was very honest with us in regards to our trade in value and what the dealership would need to receive for us to make a deal. We stated our offer and within 2 minutes Land Rover had accepted. From there we only spent an hour to sign all of the paperwork and finalize the deal. This was the quickest experience we have ever had while buying a car. Land Rover made the car buying process fun and painless. Whether you are buying a car for $20k or $100k you will be treated with the same respect. I highly recommend this dealership and plan on calling Jon the next time we buy a car.

This was my first car buying experience in 12 years and...

This was my first car buying experience in 12 years and based on several bad car buying experiences more than 12 years ago I dreaded the experience. Desiree at Land Rover Scottsdale absolutely changed my mind and proved that buying and financing a car can be a wonderful experience. I initially found the Range Rover I wanted listed on-line with their dealership. Unfortunately I live about 4.5 hours away so I was not able to see the car in person. As such, I was nervous about the purchase since I had only seen pictures of the truck but Desiree was incredible. I had several questions, some completely ridiculous and probably unnecessary, and Desiree was consistently professional, friendly, factual and knowledgable. If she didn't know, she said she would find out and get back with me. At no point did she over-promise, over-sell or pressure me. Even though Desiree was not able to negotiate price, she worked with her manager, Kyle, and they offered other real alternatives (not the typical foolish financing or trade-in tricks other dealerships attempt) that showed they valued my business. When I arrived at the dealership to see the truck for the first time and finalize everything, it was in the exact condition that Desiree explained over the phone. She took time to show me how to work all of the amenities the truck offered. Financing was also a pleasure. Patti worked hard to find great financing for me. Even after telling me the initial approved rate, she was able to find a lower rate before I arrived and financed at that lower rate. There was none of the normal pressured sales tactics during the financing process or at any other time during the purchase process. I was literally in and out of the dealership within an hour. Unbelievable! i just can't say enough about the experience I had with Land Rover of North Scottsdale. As I mentioned before, I was very nervous having found the truck I wanted on-line and not knowing anyone that was from the Scottsdale area or at the dealership. Desiree, Kyle and Patti completely eliminated all of my concerns and created one of the best buying experiences I've ever had. Desiree, Kyle and Patti - thank you so much and I am loving my Range Rover. You guys are the best!!

Bought a new land Rover LR4 and got auxiliary lights installed. The switch initially was not wired correctly. Cheryl Wolfe was very helpful and after conferring with the technicians, promptly arranged a followup appointment as soon as I called and got the switch light wiring corrected.

I have worked with Cheryl the past 4 years that I have owned my RRS and she always takes good care of me. Today, she amazed me. A serious problem had developed with my truck, so I stopped in at 2:30 to get her opinion. She stopped what she was doing, got the service guys to look at it, and then offered to have it fixed by 4pm... while I waited. This sure beat having to schedule a visit and then come back!

We just purchased a new Land Rover LR4 from Jon Parske at Land Rover North Scottsdale. This is the fourth car we've bought from Jon over the last 6 years. He has always been extremely easy to work with on our car purchases. Land Rover North Scottsdale has always beat all other dealers in terms of price and customer service. We always price match with at least 3 or 4 other dealers when purchasing, and it's never even close. On top of that the entire staff is friendly and fair. We would highly recommend calling them if you're in the market for a Land Rover.
