Fantastic experience ordering a Hellcat from 2,500 mls away

By GrnLantern on 10/21/2017 at 12:24 AM. Helped by Eddie Rosa.

I ordered my 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat from Eddie Rosa at Landmark Dodge across the country (I'm in CA, they're in GA). He worked with me throughout every step of the process, and was extremely helpful, easy to deal with, very communicative, and made sure my end-to-end experience was pleasant *and* most importantly did *not* feel like he was "selling me a car." A few months after ordering (we ordered right when MY2017 ended, so there was a slight delay from Dodge), my car arrived at Landmark Dodge in GA. He prepped it, worked through the Lease details and paperwork (FedEx'd overnight back and forth to knock it out quickly), and shipped the car to me. Yes, I bought it sight unseen. Zero issues, Eddie and the team at Landmark were worthy of my trust, and I'm pleased to say they lived up to my expectations. I'll definitely be ordering my next SRT from them, even though there are many Dodge dealerships closer to me (~2,500 miles away).

I would recommend this dealer.

Bad customer service

By Claudia on 10/4/2017 at 3:41 PM. Helped by Preston Hood . TIm Henderson.

I bought a brand new Dodge Journey , 5 years ago , now the car has 52000 milles and started making weird noises . I had the car towed to landmark and they told me that they will check the car asap . They told me on the phone that if it was a transmission problem , it would be covered because of manufacturer defects , 2 days later they called me and said a i need a new transmission and that they are not going to cover it . The manager Tim Anderson is a joke , needs to be fired , very bad customer service experience and no solution. Very unproffesional , didnt even take me into his office , started talking to me in the middle of the service center .Never buy any dodge again

I would not recommend this dealer.

Felt Shady

By RTRBama11 on 8/2/2017 at 4:41 PM.

I arrive looking at a vehicle that I was very interested in. Upon arrival the car had not been cleaned, there was a charge cord in the front cup holder, straw wrapper on the front seat, and over 600 miles had been put on the vehicle. It was impossible to tell what shape the vehicle was in because it was so dirty. I left and said i would be back in a few days hoping that the vehicle would be detailed. When i arrived it looks like they had just wiped things down (not detailed), there was trim still hanging off inside, 2 chips in the windshield, and brake dust still on the rims. This really showed they didn't really want my business. Also, they were not willing to work on price with me, even though we were very close to a deal...in spite of everything. Then 2 weeks later the price of the vehicle drops to what i would have paid for it, with no response from the dealer. Overall, a horrible experience and have no interest in the vehicle now just out of principle.

I would not recommend this dealer.

FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!

By DB on 7/17/2017 at 12:41 PM. Helped by Peter.

LANDMARKS RADIO COMMERCIALS SAY, "WE WILL TAKE YOUR TRADE AND MAKE A DEAL NO MATTER WHAT!!" This is not true!!! I called Sunday morning about an advertised special on the Ram Rebel pickup. I explained my situation and the salesperson (Peter) said I needed to come in they could make it work!! I explained I didn't want to waste my time but he convinced me. Once I arrived, the first thing I was told was the truck with the amazing deal had already sold.....Why wasn't I called???? Then after a few hours I was told I we couldn't make a deal because I needed to keep my car longer. AGAIN, I EXPLAINED THE SITUATION WHEN I CALLED!!! Complete waste of time and FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

FRAUD..HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

By tonib on 7/13/2017 at 12:03 AM. Helped by Yousuf, Alton, Tim Lambert.

This dealership is a fraud. So, my husband was in the market to buy a vehicle. He was going to buy a 2017 Dodge Challenger at the Morrow, Ga location. He went to buy the vehicle on a Saturday. They did not finish the paperwork and let him leave with the vehicle. My husband returned to the dealership and decided against buying the vehicle for several reasons. One of reason being that they would not give him his tax exempt for being military personal in TN. When I called and explained to the dealership, Yousuf, in finance was very unprofessional and rude and hung up in my face once he realized that I was correct. Yousuf, also said a lot of degrading/xxxxxx remarks to my husband, telling him that, "He didn't know who ran the relationship but that he needed to control his wife." So they continued to try to sell my husband the vehicle, but I would not cosign because the numbers were not right and they were horrible with customer service. So once they realized that my husband was not going to buy the vehicle, they returned him his vehicle and said that the vehicle was shaking and that they were not going to give him his $500 deposit until they had someone look at the car. Fast forward to a couple of weeks later, they said that they were only returning $380 because they had to detail the car and service the vehicle (later found out through a complaint that the vehicle needed an alignment with less than 100 miles that my husband put on it). So I emailed, Tim Lambert a couple of times in order to get receipts of the service completed and none of my emails were returned. He returned one email initially and said that they would not return my deposit because my husband "took a joy ride in his vehicle". I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone !!!!! You've been warned.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Already in it for the long haul...

By beingbasic on 6/12/2017 at 8:32 PM. Helped by Al Jones.

In searching for a vehicle online, I came across exactly what I wanted at Landmark. I reached out for additional pictures of the vehicle and continued to be satisfied with the results. I informed the internet salesman what worked price-wise for me informing him that I would not be making the 3 hour trip to get the vehicle if he couldn't ensure me of a certain monthly payment for a certain amount of months at a certain interest rate. He guaranteed the same so on my way I went on a 3 hour road trip to pick up the vehicle and sign on the dotted line. I drove the vehicle further falling in love with it excited to get it all finalized so I could begin the 3 hour drive back to my home. Over an hour there and the sketchy-ness of a carsalesman began to surface. Over 2 hours at the dealership and I got called back to the finance guy. Into the paperwork and I find that what my salesman promised was not the case. I was so disappointed. I thought this car shopping experience wasnt going to be like the story so many hear. The interest rate was higher, the payment length was longer, and my faith was dwindling. I wasn't sure who was behind the dishonesty, but I leaned towards thinking it was the salesman. When the finance guy saw my surprise and disappointment, he appeared to try to help in any way he could. I felt already in the deal for the long haul but I can't help but feel "had" by this dealership or the salesman (whichever one we want to point the finger at). With a credit score of over 810, I don't feel like they did what they could to make the deal the best they could to satisfy me.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Brake problem

By Angela0916 on 1/18/2017 at 12:25 AM. Helped by Victor, Tim Henderson.

I went in today, which mind you is my 5th visit since I bought the car 6 months ago, I have continuously spoken to them about my brakes. For the past 4 visits I told them there is something wrong with my brakes they continuously checked the green section saying there was no issues however I pulled my tire off to look myself and my rotors were CRACKED. It is absolutely absurd that they let me leave with them like that. That is illegal along with dangerous to my safety and my families safety along with the safety for others on the road when I am. I trusted them with my life and my families lives and I shouldn't have. They OPENLY ADMITTED that the mechanics have NOT been taking the tires off to do my brake inspection WHICH IS ILLEGAL. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I am to the point of contacting my attorney however I also wanted to let other people out there know to go to a different place to get a vehicle. My car is a certified preowned vehichle from them!!! This place is a joke and should not be certified to work on vehicles! I know for a fact it is illegal for them to do this type of stuff and I will not allow them to get by with it to anyone else who researches the places they use! Terrible terrible place! When I spoke to them on the phone at 9 am they said they could get me in right then and be gone by 12:30pm the latest. I did not get to leave until 1:30. Me and my wife who drive school buses were too late to go to work so we lost money for the afternoon. I hope I never have to return to this place again.

Failure again

By leroykeith on 11/7/2016 at 10:54 PM. Helped by She knows who she is.

Had my Ram 1500 in Landmark DCJ in Morrow for routine service in April. Mentioned that the radio was acting up. They could not duplicate the problem. Took it back a few months later for the same problem. Again they could not duplicate and my word wasn't good enough. Had to finally video the problem then took it back again. This time they said they fixed it and it wasn't ready when promised. Picked up truck and by the time I got home it was doing the same thing. Left two messages for my service tech and two emails to Landmark and all I have heard is crickets. This is not the first time I have had problems with the service department. But I can promise you this, it will be the last time I purchase a vehicle from Landmark. Service after the purchase brings back customers. I can buy a Ram 1500 anywhere. UPDATE My service tech called me. She was very apologetic and said she had not received my voice messages. They are working on the problem

Poor sales personnel

By Cheated on 9/26/2016 at 1:40 AM. Helped by Joshua Ried and Patrick Bernard.

My salesman Joshua Ried is a rude and cocky person but dispite him and a short sighted sales manager Chuck McCall I made the purchase anyway. Mister Ried was more interested in the football game on his computer than working with my wife and I and we had to do parts of his duties just to get the deal done. Mister McCall was over heard by us telling other buyers in the near by cubicle the exact same Excuses he gave to us it was shocking We feel we were out right cheated out of 1,000 dollars on our deal. If it weren't for Mr Pattick Bernard jumping in on these two and being the professional. We would have walked out.

The absolute worst car buying experience ever

By Donald W. Jamieson Jr. on 9/2/2016 at 3:55 AM. Helped by Terry.

The person I spoke to on the phone was not even there after my wife and I drove an hour and a half. Then the salesman that came to help us pawned us off on someone else within two minutes of us talking to him. No one there knew anything about the car lot. Every salesman was out side setting off alarms trying to find the car or truck they were looking for including ours. When we found the truck we were looking for the price went up seven thousand dollars from the Internet price. Then they ran my credit six times without showing me any numbers. Which was denied for the reason the manager said was the truck wasn't worth what they were asking because they was trying to give six thousand dollars less than five other car lots before them. Which by the way all off them showed me numbers and didn't run my credit because the numbers were higher than I wanted to go

Not Upfront or Honest

By Jiba6669 on 8/23/2016 at 2:42 PM. Helped by Sean.

I bought a jeep renegade in February 2016 from Sean, who was an excellent salesman and did everything he could for us. Now the finance department not so great. Your wait for hours. The make you feel as if your going through a criminal background check. Finally when it is time to sign paperwork your exhausted and believe what your told. I was told I would get 2 free oil changes and tire rotation, 5 months later someone told me to double check my contract and sure enough they charged me $251.00 for my free oil change and tire rotation. BEWARE EVERYONE READ YOU CONTRACTS AND BE FRESH AND AWARE. Bonnie J

Very Disappointed

By hcbrown65 on 7/25/2016 at 12:32 AM.

I purchased my Jeep Cherokee on May 28 and a month later my vehicle was being towed to the nearest Jeep dealership. Since June 28, I have made payments on a vehicle I can't drive and no one seems to know how to fix it. I have been told it's the wiring then I was told it was the computer. I let my salesman know about the situation and all I got was I will call you back only to never hear from him, which was surprising considering the great customer service I had when purchasing the vehicle. It's amazing how little help you get once the purchase is made from the dealership or Chrysler Jeep.

Landmark Jeep Maintenance Issues

By ckeller1 on 6/24/2016 at 3:25 AM. Helped by Brandy.

In Dec, my Grand Cherokee Jeep engine light came on. I called Landmark to make an appointment and was told that I could not get an appointment for 30 days. So, I contacted another Jeep dealer and was able to get it in for repair within 2 days. The engine light came on again a few months ago, so I called for an appointment at Landmark again. The earliest I could get an appointment was two and a half weeks. I dropped the vehicle off at the appointed time. After a day, I started calling to check on it. Could not connect with the service agent all day. He finally returned my call at 6 pm to inform me that my car might be ready the next day. It was finally ready for pickup, just before closing. The engine light came on a third time about three weeks ago, so I called Landmark to make an appointment. Again, I was told that the earliest would be 2 and a half weeks. So, I accepted the date and time and agreed to drop my Jeep off the day prior to my appointment. On the day that I dropped off my Jeep, I was told by the service agent that they would get to it within the next three days. This was the first time that anyone had mentioned this period. So, I left the car there for first two days and started calling to check on it on day two and to notify the agent that I need the car back the next day for trip. I could not reach the service agent all day after leave a number of messages, so I called the front office who tracked down my service agent and informed her of my need for the Jeep on the next day. The front office came back on the phone and informed me that my service agent said that my Jeep could be picked up today at anytime. No effort was made to complete the repair, even though I told them that I would be picking it up between 5 and 6 pm. When I picked up my Jeep at 5 pm, the agent told me that my Jeep was next in line for repair. Based on these experiences, with Landmarks Maintenance, I will no longer have my vehicle serviced there. This is the most inefficient vehicle maintenance program that I have ever had to work with, especially since I purchased my vehicle from there. Even though I love my Jeep and will be trading it for another utility vehicle at the end of this year, I would definitely never consider purchasing from Landmark. Until Landmark’s maintenance resources catches up with the number of vehicles sold/repair, Landmark will never be able to provide appropriate maintenance to its customers with new or used vehicles. Hoodwinked! But God is good!

By Hurting on 5/28/2016 at 3:21 PM. Helped by Vernell, Bastia and the store mananger!.

I went to landmark in may to purchase a vehicle. told them what I could afford. I was assured they would help me and Id be within my budget when I was done. I would never ever recommend Landmark to anyone I know. I have a great deal of friends and family that just relocated and I'm telling them go to any other dealer!!!!! I was sold a Chrysler 200 for 32,000 dollars when it only values 16, 000 the most by the black car book! they added all kinds of bogus charges that took my payment from 455 which Vernell the sales person first promised up too 600 dollars for a period of six years. I tried to return the vehicle because the ally bank said the dealer could take back the car and do a "flat cancel" on it because it was not yet established. Knowing they put me in negative equity from the beginning I even asked them to allow me a different vehicle that would be worth that kind of money they refused to help me. Its funny how when I walked in the first day they were all nice and helpful but when I returned with my concern Mr. Vernells demeaner change and when I walked into the dealer instead of taking me to the back when we entered to address my concern he came out like what what whats going on! like we were in the hood and having a beef. A persons true character is shown when you feel like your back is against the wall and he totally changed my perception of him and who he truly is. His real colors came out that day! I'm now stuck with a vehicle I don't want to be in for more money than I can afford and I have to at least pay for it four years just to get out of the negative equity alone!!!!!!!! If it gets repossessed it will be negative on my credit! If I voluntarily return it to the bank it will be on my credit! But God is good and trust me he sees all! You might be laughing at me but Landmark will suffer for what they do honest hardworking Godfearing people!!!!!!! Pissed off Dianne !

Fantastic team.

By Hellcat man on 5/17/2016 at 11:55 PM. Helped by Nick Bobo,Camas (champ) Plumer,Yosef.

Landmark Dodge made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Nick Bobo , Chamas (champ) Plummer and Yosef . Champ was the first salesman I talked with. He got the deal started even sent me pictures of the car I wanted just to make sure it was the right one. He answered all my questions of which there were many. He then handed me off to Nick who finished getting all the paper work to my credit union. Nick met me at the front counter the next day and treated me like he had known me all his life. He and Champ are truly a credit to their profession. I was then turned over to Yosef who walked me through all of the forms and explained everything as we went. He was very laid back but professional. After I bought the car Nick sat in it with me and went over all the options and even helped me get signed up to the uconnect system. I highly recommend Landmark dodge for your car buying needs. Nick Champ and Yosef will make worth your while. I would indeed buy another vehicle from this dealership. Bryan Griffin A very satisfied customer.
