Excellent service!

By Customer on 3/18/2017 at 3:42 AM. Helped by Jesse and Gary.

Jesse and his manager Gary went above and beyond in their service level to us when we made our used car purchase. We recommend them highly in being both very competitive and great to work with! It's a competitive arena out there and it's so nice to give your business to a company and people who deserve it.

I would recommend this dealer.

Awesome experience!

By Natalynative on 2/2/2017 at 8:45 PM. Helped by Ron Watters in Sales and Jonathan Brown in Finance.

came here looking for an impossible deal. I have e to say that the staff here has been nothing but amazing in helping me find a car that I love and works for me. I found out through this process that I'm just about one of the most indecisive individuals there is. But my sales person Ron Watters was very patient and accommodating. We test drove several cars and not once was he pushy. Each time henasked me patiently what ekse hencan donfor me. I had my 3 year old daughter with me almost every time I came in (5 times total now) and each time everyone here was very accommodating with me having her here. It was like a team effort to help watch her and entertain her. Jonathan Brown is the finance guy, he's also awesome. Again, me being the indecisive self, he had to re-do all my paperwork 3 times. Never complained or pushed me into buying anything extra. He was also amazing with my daughter. Then we have Chris in reception and Myleea in service, awesome ladies. Thank you for making this process fun and easy. I would recommend Nissan of Fife to anyone looking for a car. They are awesome! Make sure to ask for Ron Watters! (I'm not related in any way shape or form to Nissan of Fife or any of the staff)

I would recommend this dealer.

Lies and Deceit, but a good performance if you like theater

By Robin on 9/26/2016 at 9:35 PM. Helped by Mike - sales manager; Lee; Sarah - finance.

I understand car dealers bargain and are out to make the most money they can. I can appreciate that game, but there is a collective culture of deceit and outright lying at this Larson Nissan. Please stay away. After checking about a disposition fee (or a fee upon returning the car) with no less than three different people and being told that it was included in the cost up front, I signed my lease deal and was waiting for the car. I turned over the contract as I was hanging out and saw all the details of the contract (they had not showed me me that side at all). When I pointed out a section that sounded a lot like a fee upon returning the car, there was a big performance of checking into it and finding out more information. Low and behold, now that I had signed, they had made a mistake. One of the sales managers came out and put on a great show about how he would have to discipline his staff for being wrong, but there was nothing he could do. He saw no way to make the deal right, wouldn't honor what we had agreed on by lowering the cost to make up for the fee or providing something worth the value of the fee. They proceeded to try and persuade me why it was such a good deal that I got I should be happy and walk out the door with the car. At one point in this mess they even tried to "make it right" by upselling me with a maintenance package! I don't care how good or bad of a deal it was, they lied out right, repeatedly. I wanted them to honor the deal we made financially and if not I didn't want to give them a dime of my money. So we undid the whole deal. A waste of well more than four hours of my life. It was very apparent they do this all the time and assume that at the end of the lease years later it there would be no way to rectify this AND that if anyone calls them out it is a collective "mistake". sales manager, a salesman who prided himself on doing leases all the time for years AND the business manager all made the same mistake. But the theater was interesting watching the salesmanager pretend to be upset at his staff and his staff pretend he was mad - it was quite transparent, especially when they both turned to double team push me on what a great deal I was getting. Sigh. They are what gives car salesmen a bad name.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Go somewhere else!!

By Malele on 6/7/2016 at 7:16 AM. Helped by Ron-Kevin-and the general sales manager.

To Make a super long story short- Ron who was supposed to help us from the beginning fell short all the way around. I came in pre approved for a Nissan Pathfinder and instantly fell in love when we drove it. The whole time we were there we felt like we were not important at all. All that mattered was that we Signed those papers ASAP!! We were promised a $200 gas card, road side assistance for one year among other things. We called for weeks trying to figure this out with no call backs at all!! I wanted to make sure our loan from our trade in was going to be paid before another direct deposit came out and the manager finally called me back and was extremely rude and condescending. The bottom line is they WILL NOT take care of you after you sign those papers so be aware. It's June, we bought the car in April and I still haven't heard a thing about the gas card, etc. Don't expect that. I've never been more displeased with a car buying experience in my life!!!

Will never recommend this dealership to anybody!

By missmae1974 on 3/15/2016 at 6:00 PM. Helped by alex, dennis, steve.

Very nice till they get your money, Thought because its very professional looking and alot of new vehicles and different locations would be a legit place to go but i guess you can't trust anyone!Bought a car there a little over a month ago and paid cash price for it, and the third day had it, me and my daughter noticed when starting vehicle didn't start right. Let one of the sales men know about it, and he said sure you only had it a couple days bring it in and they'll check it out.So called to make a appt. and they said had to bring it to place it had a warranty they don't work on cars like that i was thinking on the sticker says they do a complete point check out but they don't work on them?. So called dealership and it took a week too get it in. By that time my 72 hrs trade in was no good. The dealership took 15 minutes on my car and told me it was fine they said a spark plug was bad. Then it started acting up worst then before and took it back a 2nd time and said something with the distubutor and had to change it out. Then left and still misfiring and then they told me headgasket may be blown cause it went thru a couple sets of spark plugs..So after having it a couple weeks in the shop they said my headgasket wasnt blown and it was a wire harnessed together touching the manifold and i can come get it .Well i went to get it and still the cars not running right.Talk to one of the sales managers at nissan of fife and he said bring it back and they will go to the moon and back to help me. Ya right! Another sales manager was there and insisted on helping me cause the one i spoke to was out running errands. So straight up he pretty much said i was out of luck and my 72 hrs was way over and i can do trade in value if i wanted another vehicle. So i spent over 10,000 cash for my vehicle and he said i would have to get a car valued at about 7000.00. I said, so im pretty much asked out and he said sorry that's the best we can do and he would talk to the other manager and if they could think of something else they can help me.So no i would not recommend this place to anybody!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Completely Unprofessional Dealership

By HonestGuy1972 on 11/6/2015 at 3:54 AM. Helped by Travis, Dennis, Gina, Penny.

I wish I had read all the negative reviews of this dealership here and elsewhere before driving more than 5 hours to buy a car from them! If you are considering spending tens of thousands of dollars at this dealer, it’s worth a few minutes of your time to find out what you might be in for if you choose to do business with this company. Below, I will outline in detail how this dealer failed us at every turn but this is the one line summary: shockingly poor customer service, completely disorganized, not to mention uninformed regarded required documents to obtain license plates, duplicitous salespeople and sales managers, and a complete lack of accountability and follow through. 1. FOUL DOG ODOR IN CAR THEY WERE TOO LAZY TO REMOVE. When we arrived to buy the car, we noticed a really bad dog odor in the car. I asked Travis, our salesperson, if they could at least clean the car so we don’t have to drive 5 hours back to Oregon with this foul dog smell. He acted like this was a huge concession and had his manager, Dennis, tell us that they couldn’t afford to do a comprehensive odor reduction process, etc, etc. I clarified that I just wanted them to put in a little elbow grease to clean the car up and they (grudgingly) agreed. We came back 2 hours later and, instead of the dog smell, it smelled like air freshener. An hour later, the dog smell was back. I bought some Ozium spray and then washed the mats and fabric in a water/vinegar mix and the smell went away. But when I’m spending $22,000 on a car, I think the dealer should have done that for us. Lazy. 2. SALESPEOPLE WON’T RETURN YOUR CALL/EMAIL AFTER SALE IS MADE. After we bought the car, we noticed that the trunk cover was missing. This item comes standard on the car. We emailed Travis to ask him if perhaps the previous owner still has it. No response. Before we bought the car, he would respond to our emails within minutes. After the sale is made? Nada. 3. MISINFORMATION WITH NO APOLOGIES. The finance manger gave us an envelope with three documents in it and told us that was all we’d need to get a license plate for the car in Oregon. I went to the DMV and found out he was wrong. In Oregon, you need the title. When I called the dealership to inform them of this, the finance manager said, “It’s up to you to know the laws in your own state.” Fine, but if he didn’t know the laws in Oregon, he should have said so and we would have researched it on our own. Instead he pretended to know what he was talking about and then when informed that he didn’t, made no apology for the error. 4. GOOD LUCK TRYING TO GET YOUR PLATES! Trying to get a straight answer from various people at this dealership about where our title was and when we would get it was monumentally frustrating. Six days after the sale was made, I called our bank and they said they were unaware of the sale—Larson Nissan hadn’t even sent them any paperwork yet. The Bend DMV told me to have the dealer send the title to them, rather than to the Salem HQ, to expedite issuance of my plate. After numerous follow up calls, I was finally assured by a title clerk named Gina that they would overnight our title to the Bend DMV, and was even given a tracking number. Five days later, I checked the FedEx tracking no and saw that they hadn’t even shipped out the title yet. Penny, a manager in the title department, told me that my title had been sent to Salem, not Bend. I called the Salem DMV and they said not only had they not received it but, since it was sent to HQ and not Bend, it would take an additional 4-6 weeks for me to get it! I called Penny back, and she changed her tune, this time saying, No, we still have your title here and can still send it to the Bend DMV. Great news, I thought, until 5 minutes later, I got a call from Dennis, the sales manager, who insisted that he had just gotten off the phone with the DMV HQ in Salem, who said they do in fact have my title there. I knew this was BS because I had just spoken to them and they had no record of it. He couldn’t explain why Penny had just told me she had the title or explain why I was getting different stories from different people. Thoroughly confused, I called Penny back for a 3rd time, and, after a long time on hold she said, “Oh, we do still have the title here at the dealership.” A few days later, I got a call from the Bend DMV that they have my title. So I made trip #2 to to the DMV. After waiting in line for 90 minutes, they pulled out the documents Larson had sent them and told me that the dealer had failed to include the (required) release from the previous owner. So I had to call Penny back yet again and get them to send me the release, and then I had to go back to the DMV, wait in line again and do the whole thing over to FINALLY get my plates. This place will cause you nothing but stress. If I had to do it over again, I’d rather pay more to do business with people who know what they’re doing and actually care about their customers. I can’t tell you how many hours of my time this place wasted and how much stress they caused me. Clueless, careless, thoughtless.

Lied to twice, horrible service technicians

By Roni3DArt on 11/1/2015 at 8:49 PM. Helped by Dan.

If I could give a negative I would. If you're a female I suggest you have a male in taking your vehicle if not they will try and sell you something that you don't need. This is my experience. For the past four years I have switched out tires twice a year, Les Schwab would always have a problem resetting my tire sensor, so I would take it to Olympian Nissan with no problem whatsoever. Well I moved up to Seattle and I was looking for a new Nissan dealership, one that would be either on my way to work or on my way to Tacoma. I chose Nissan Larson Fife. My first loop oil filter not a problem, it was time for me to switch out my winter tires for my summer tires, I explain to them my past experience and I just needed them to reset my tire sensor. They kept debating with me that no that wasn't the problem and I kept telling them I've never had this problem I just need to reset it, well they took it in and they took out the battery sensor and swore that I needed a new one and it would cost me $150. I thought well they're the experts I guess he must be right, I asked if it was something I needed to replace at that time they said no that I can wait, so I said I will get it done when I put my winter tires back on. Lo and behold I put my winter tires back on and the alert goes off. I was upset. I drove straight to the dealership and I let them know that my trust was broken because they kept swearing up-and-down that I was wrong and they were right and I asked if they were really just trying to get my money? Dan Dan reassured me that this would never happen again and he would talk to his staff and he would try and make my next visit a better one. I went ahead and took it for the next Lube, Oil and filter change, the paper said that they rotated my tires, Dan went over everything that they did and when I should come back again. As I am driving back home I hear a noise but I am thinking that it has to do with the construction on the freeway and it's probably the road. The next morning it's a little bit louder by the end of the day it's really bad and I called them and they say have to bring it back. The next morning they take it back, after about 30 minutes Dancause back and tells me that one of my luxe busted, and that all my lugs and nuts are rested and they needed to be replaced. He then proceeds to ask me when I put those tires on, and I told him they were on when I brought my car in, he says that his technician claims that those are not the same ones. I then asked you guys were the ones that rotated my tires, how is it that those are not the same tires. Dan then proceeds to tell me that they never rotated my tires, that they had to say that and put it down on paper because of my maintenance plan. That if they didn't it would kick it back, but that my tires didn't need to be rotated. At that point I was done. Dan was nice enough to pay for my lugs and nuts for that one tire, and he said he could order the other 15 and have it there in two days. I said no thank you. I have emailed customer service and I have spoken to someone from customer service, I just expected to hear from the manager of customer service but I guess I shouldn't be surprised right??

Nissan of Fife needs HELP BIG TIME!

By No deal 15 on 10/13/2015 at 2:40 AM. Helped by Different ones.

They have a very fast turn-over in all the key people you need to make a car deal. This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I bought and traded in my car in July and I still do not have my contract that I signed. Financed mangers changed in the middle. Bottom Line...I've purchased a lot of high-end cars and never have I had to deal with such incompetence as I have here. Wow...

No ability to provide services

By DisgruntledJuke on 5/4/2015 at 10:13 PM. Helped by service desk.

Bought a new Juke with service contract. This dealer has a service department that is below sub-par. A simple scheduled oil change can take three weeks. They use to have an express service but they were never able to do an express service. Express service seems to be a sales pitch and as no basis in reality. Time to find a Nissan dealer that wants business.

We came down here on Monday 12/16/13 to look at new vehicles. Built a relationship with salesman Adam. Adam is a genuine nice guy and he is relatively new. What we loved about adam is he wasn't the know it all salesman who had an answer for everything. When he ran into a question he didn't know the answer to, he sought out the answer. It was unique buying experience because I never had a moment where I felt adam wasn't on our side. He's the type that he wants you to buy when your ready. I bought a grey/black 2013 Nissan Altima and of course I fell in love with it on first test drive. Thanks Adam for walking us through our biggest car purchase of our lives so far. I would recommend buying from this dealership and of course look for my new friend Adam.

By smstarr on 8/6/2013 at 7:35 PM. Helped by he's gone so it doesn't matter.

I am writing this letter out of total frustration and customer dis-satisfaction with my purchase of a 2008 Subaru WRX in May. My son graduated from college and my gift to him was this dream car. I live in the state of Idaho and he lives in Oregon. We originally saw the vehicle online and contacted the internet sales manager to obtain all the information and negotiate a price, now let me say this was sight unseen, only pictures. So we asked all the pertinent questions about car fax, mechanical condition, mileage, maintenance, etc. I actually negotiated over the phone and wired the down payment to the dealership to secure the vehicle. We picked up my son in Oregon and took him on an 8 hour road trip to pick up the vehicle. When we arrived he did get to drive the vehicle around the corner for a short distance. As I sat to sign the paperwork, I was told by Dave the finance guy and indicated on the paperwork that the vehicle had a 90 day warranty, no limits of engine or powertrain, just a 90 day. I told him you know we live out of state so if something goes wrong we can't bring it back and the response was oh that's ok just take it to a dealership in your area. I felt good about this and my son drove the vehicle back to his home in Oregon. 15 days, yep 15 and the check engine light illuminates and disables the cruise control. My son calls in a panic, I tell him just to bring it to Boise, 2 hours away and we will take it to the dealership for service, we are told by the Subaru dealer that the vehicle needs new o rings at the price of $300. So we pay this and I contact David Ledger (GM) from Nissan of Fife and he was very nice and did negotiate for the reimbursement of this amount. Great and I appreciate it. Now my sons goes back to Oregon and guess what, same code and check engine light come on, back to the mechanic and this time he has to clean the MAF sensor and as just standard procedure we also put in new spark plugs to ensure the engine is in perfect shape at a cost of another $397. Once again I call David Ledger and he says at this point he doesn't know what else he can do. Very nicely. Ok here we go again, my son heads back to Oregon, and yep for a third time check engine light, same code. NOW we are back at the mechanic and they are going to install a stock cold air intake on the vehicle (as it had an after market when purchased) to see if this doesn't fix the problem, once again at a cost out of my pocket. At this point we have had the vehicle 60 days at a cost of over $17000 purchase and about to be out of pocket expense of probably $800. Really? As a customer there must be some expectation that if something goes wrong 15 days after driving it off the lot that the dealership would stand behind the purchase. I am aware of the as_Is clause but I even offered to drive the vehicle back 8 hours and let you have it to fix whatever is wrong. Only to be told that if it's not the engine, then there's nothing else that can be done and if I did bring it back and it was something else I'd still have to pay for the repair. So when fuel is dumping into the engine because of a P0171 code that is not considered an engine issue? And if it blows up because I failed to try and fix this safety issue then who is going to have the lawsuit of the century, Nissan of Fife and I have all the conversation dates, times, and receipts. I at this point am ready to spray paint the side of this vehicle, saying GOT RIPPED OFF AT FIFE and park it in front of the dealership or as close to it as possible. Since my son can’t drive it for any distance without the light coming on just maybe this would be an ok solution. I am at my wits end and so frustrated with this entire experience and I hope that this letter will prompt some type of action on the part of the ownership. I truly am a reasonable customer and have been nothing but nice in my dealing with David, ask him but I also am a fulltime hardworking person who expects to get what she paid for, a working, functioning drivable vehicle that can go further than 1000 miles with no problems. I have done some additional research as to Washington Laws and have found that the attorney general states that there is an implied warranty as follows: Implied Warranty Under state law RCW 62A.2-314, every used car sold by a dealer in Washington for a customer’s personal use has an "implied warranty of merchantability.” This means that the dealer promises the used car will be fit for ordinary driving purposes, reasonably safe, without major defects, and of the average quality of similar cars available for sale in the same price range. A car can only be sold without the implied warranty if the customer knowingly agreed to waive the warranty and was provided with a statement of the particular characteristics or parts of the car that aren’t covered. Absent the required disclosures and your customer’s explicit consent, an “as is” sticker in the window of a car or a signed waiver is not sufficient to waive the implied warranty. The implied warranty can’t be waived under any circumstance if a written warranty is offered with the car or the customer purchases an extended service warranty from the dealer within 90 days of buying a used car. Whatever the status of warranty, dealers shouldn’t sell cars that, due to defective or missing safety equipment, aren’t legal to drive on public roads. Here are some general guidelines for meeting your obligations under state law: Washington consumers have a right to trust that any purchased vehicle will be reasonably safe, efficient and comfortable. If a customer has major problems with the vehicle, then the dealer may be obligated to meet the customer’s request for repairs or repayment of the purchase price. Courts have ruled that the implied warranty is legally waived only if both of the following conditions are met: 1. The consumer explicitly negotiates and agrees to the fact that the car does not have an implied warranty, and 2. The dealer gives the consumer a statement of the particular characteristics or parts of the car which are not being warranted. A general discussion of vehicle size, style, model, color, power, extra equipment and price is not a specific discussion or explicit negotiation of a waiver of the implied warranty of merchantability. The use of an “As Is” sticker does not circumvent the Implied Warranty of Merchantability rules. A signed, pre-printed form may not be evidence of explicit negotiation. A clause waiving the warranty in a preprinted sales agreement is not evidence of explicit negotiation. The burden is on the dealer to prove evidence of an effective disclaimer or waiver of a warranty. If a customer buys an extended service warranty contract within 90 days of buying the used car, the implied warranty of merchantability cannot be waived under any circumstances – even if previously negotiated. Used cars also have another implied warranty under state law RCW 62A.2-315, called Warranty of Fitness for a Particular Purpose. This provides that when the seller knows the vehicle is going to be used for a particular purpose, such as racing or towing a trailer, and the buyer is relying on the seller’s expertise to provide a suitable vehicle, a warranty is created that the item will actually be fit for that purpose.

Larson Motors of Fife is the best Nissan Dealer for New as well as Preowned cars in my experience. I was researching for almost 2 months for the most optimal option of a Pre-owned SUV. After briefly meeting two more dealers in Bellevue and Seattle Area, I must admit that I was turned down either by the quality of the car or the customer service/ user friendliness. To my utter surprise on a casual day visit to Larson Motors, awesome team of Richard, Micheal and Dion helped me out and not only met but exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Larson for several reasons, great cars, awesome staff, customer friendly approach and above all quality of service. Certainly, I am now a happy Nissan Murano Customer, all thanks to Larson Motors. Rahul Kaul

I would recommend this dealer.
