BE AWARE

Unorganized place, traded my vehicle here. Some salesmen don’t know how to do their jobs, after signing paperwork I was told I was good to go. Clearly, I wasn’t. Apparently I still have to pay for the other vehicle getting late charge fees. I mean why can’t I get a heads up from this dealership to let me know I need more paper to sign. Unfortunately I was informed by my bank for the late fee, 23 days later once I purchased a vehicle. This dealership only cares about good reviews and selling cars. I would think twice about this place, never in my life I dealt with this. The finance manager Rachid said that corporate couldn’t do anything in their end. I now have to pay this late fee from the initial vehicle. This could’ve had been avoided if they would’ve just called us a day or two after my purchase. But no, they want to wait and affect my credit. Good job Volkswagen of Tacoma!

Very unprofessional

I recently went here to purchase a new vehicle and I met with Kevin Pedersen who was a very impolite employee and wasted almost 2 hours of my time just to tell me I couldn’t buy a car.

I took my car here after a check engine light came on. I have previously took it to the guys in Puyallup, but they scheduled me for next week during my working hours just to take a look at it. These folks at Larson took the car immediately and looked at it. It ended up being something simple. Additionally, they did an inspection on my car AND WASHED IT! There was also a problem with my car warranty not being in the system, but they honored even though the mistake was made by the dealer where I bought it from. Thank you so much!

Not your typical experience (in a good way!)

I expected Larson VW to be just like any other dealership. I wanted to just gather some info about cars so that I could figure out what to do when my lease is up in six months. I girded myself, ready to run the sales gauntlet, ready to put up with a lot of high-pressure xxxxxxxx just to get some information. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Or more pleasantly surprised! We worked with David Barnave and Ken Ketchum. They were friendly, patient, and accommodating. They answered all of our questions and they arranged every test drive of every car we were curious about. “But wait,” you say, “isn’t that their job?” “Yes,” I say, “you’re right.” That is *part* of their job. The other part of their job is to move cars off the lot and into people’s driveway. Here’s the thing, though: They’re more interested in making customers happy with the right deal at the right price on the right vehicle rather than just making a sale. Let that sink in. They’re more interested in making customers happy with the right deal at the right price on the right vehicle rather than just making a sale. These guys showed an enormous amount of integrity in looking out for us, the customers. I don’t know about you, but this is the exact opposite of every other car-buying experience I’ve ever had. It was refreshing not to face high-pressure sales tactics. It was like having a concierge working for me to find just what I was looking for. I’m a very, very satisfied car shopper!

Do not purchase your vehicle from Larson VW. I’ve been waiting since Dec 2016 for a refund for a feature on my new vehicle that was never installed. 10+ calls to the dealership with no follow up and no clarity on where my money is. Take your business elsewhere -- you’ll be happy you did.

Terrible Customer Service

The car was brought in for standard service. Upon receiving the car back, the windshield was cracked. The dealership refuses to lay for the repair. Unacceptable business practice. Stay away from this business!

A great place to have my cars sericed

Over Charging, Disorganized, Unprofessional

I went in to get my car serviced. We wanted 2 specific things done to the car and that was an oil change and to swap the spark plugs. They quoted me a price of $140 on the paper, had me sign in two different places and left to do their business. 3 hours go by, about twice as long as they told me it would take. After the servicing is done, the same employee told me that I was being charged over $300. I looked at the paper I signed and saw that the $140 written in pen was scribbled over to look like "$240" AFTER I had signed the paper. He didn't even try to point out the $240 on the paper. You don't change a document or a contract after it has been signed, and even if the price exceeded the quoted price, they were suppose to notify me before hand, which they failed to do. I ended up having to pay $215 for the entire thing after they quoted me $140. The manager is the one who helped bring the price down. As the employee led me to my vehicle, he said something slightly rude. "Well our service technician doesn't get to get paid anymore because the full price wasn't paid". Which I responded to with "Have a good day, sir". This place is shady, unprofessional, and dishonest.

NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Came all the way from Bellevue, WA, made an appointment to see a car, received confirmation from the Internet sales manager that this car is available. I informed them that I will be there in 30-45 minutes. Got there only to be told that their manager decided to drive the car home. Told the salesman to let the manager know that "he just lost my business"! Who would want to do business with this kind of dealership?

lack of profesionalism

I just purchased my second Volkswagen through VW Tacoma. Go somewhere else. These people I have been dealing with for months over the phone on a lease on a Jetta that was ending soon (mistake to begin with I was young) received no help, was forced to come into office with a one year old and received no help nothing, major attitude lack of professionalism and major carelessness. The Finance manager Janice O. Was absolutely sweet and made me feel so much better about my situation if It wasn't for her bubbly and uplifting spirit I may have just walked away with my hands in the air and cut my losses. Myself or my family will never purchase a vehicle from this store again.
