Great!

I visited Lehmer's to look at a used car and ended up buying a brand new one! The Sales person (I think his name was Jose) was not pushy at all and was very honest about each of the cars I looked at. I'm not exactly easy to work with, but he was patient and made himself relatable.

I would recommend this dealer.

2016 Terrain inside light problem

I got this car in Feb and was so excited to try GMC since I had been a Honda owner for 30 years. I just didn't like the Honda look so I took a chance . Within 90 days I began to notice the dash lights not always staying on. Them the lights on the consul began to not work, then the lights on the radio & camera stopped working. This wasn't everyday, just different times. I called to complain & was told to look at the dim switch which I probably turned down. That was NOT the problem. It continued to happen & when I had to drive in the dark over 6 miles on the freeway because all the lights when out at the same time it was xxxx scary! I couldn't see how fast I was going so I stayed in the slow lane & followed the car in front of me! Now I felt it was a safety issue so I called service again & made an appointment to drop the car off. 6 hours later when I stopped by to see if it was almost ready they had NOT even looked at my car! I was so upset! Had to take it back again & they couldn't seem to find the answer. Yet no one seems to think it's an issue so I continue to have a brand new car without interior lights that I think makes driving this car a safety issue. It's on a lease which now I know for sure I will not buy or continue to lease this car when the lease is up. I actually had to take my car in for an oil change and one of the service said to me " aren't you the lady with the light problem?' when I said yes he asked " are you still pissed about the lights"?? Really...? Nice way to be greeted! I have even left messages with GMC Corp. without a reply! Anyone have some advise???

Great Service after my purchase

Icon on dashboard kept lighting up.

The icon on my dashboard kept lighting up despite a 90000 mile service to the tune of $1,500.00! Returned the car and they found a defective thermostat at a cost of @ $500.00! I would have thought that this would have been covered under the 90,000 check. The service of both items would have been done under the $1,500.00!!

Poor evaluation of over heating engine

My son brought in his Saturn Vue to correct an over heating problem. The car was checked out my your service mechanic. We were told that it was a thermostat that needed to be replace. The cost that was quoted to us was $600. Although we thought it was high to do the work, we told Joe the service rep to go ahead and have it done. Big mistake because the car still overheated. We than drove the car to a 4 stars rated auto repair shop in walnut creek. They charge us $75 to look into the overheating problem. They told us we had a blown head gasket. (By the way it only cost $375 outside to replace a thermostat) We thought we were in good hands when we went to Lehmer, a GMCdealer. If your mechanic can't detect a simple problem like a over heating engine, I cringe at the fact if they can repair something major. It cost me $600 for nothing. That a reflection to Lehmer. Nice looking showroom but NO GO in the service department. WATCH OUT. Morris

Great Purchase Terrible Service

I had an amazing buying experience but the service failed horribly. I've complained about squealing brakes since day one with no resolution. And now that my warranty has expired they've sent numerous bake job coupons that include "squealing brakes are a sign that you need new brakes". WOW! Time to find a new service company..

This was the best car buying experience! I came to the dealership knowing the exact vehicle and features that I wanted and Ron was able to sense that and did not try to "up-sale" me. He didn't push another more expensive vehicle like other dealers will try to do. He was great about checking that the vehicle had all the things it should have, such as all floor mats, manuals and headsets and remotes. He gave me a thorough introduction to all the buttons and features of my new car. He even got OnStar on the line to initiate my service. The finance person, Russ, was really nice and helpful too. He never tried to push me into buying the extended warranty (although I did purchase it). He just explained what it would cover and let me decide what was best for me. I have to say that everything about this dealership impressed me. The people are helpful, very knowledgeable and just plain nice! Without a doubt I would purchase a future vehicle with them.

I was in the market for a newer used vehicle. Lehmer's Buick happen to have just the vehicle I was looking for at a SUPERBLY lower than Blue Book price. The staff (Internet Sales Manager) Eric Cooper and (Finance Director) Russell Self were incredibly knowledgeable and quite helpful. My financial situation and recent job history were somewhat problematic yet Lehmer's was able to find financing with seemingly relative ease. I was able to walk away the same day with the car I wanted at a price I could afford. I can't say enough GOOD things about Lehmer's Buick! I highly recommend this dealership!
