Colton is the best SA at BMW of Brooklyn

Right after the Easter long weekend from my long road trip. My BMW iDrive told me that it's due for oil change. I scheduled online on Tues for the appointment on Thu. I knew it's kind of short notice but I got a call back from the service dept to confirm my appointment. It was a good start. The day I brought in my car was a smooth process. I was immediate greeted by a familiar Service Advisor, Colton. He always cares about the customer and provides his best knowledge for your BMW service need. After my car key reading, he discovered that my car indeed needed more than just oil change. Just one visit he took care of the oil change, replaced the spark plugs, micro filter, wiper refills and top-off all fluids. He kept me posted and let me know I could pick up my car at the end of the day. I arrived back to the dealership when he's about to leave. He wouldn't complain about that I delayed his time to go home but instead making sure that all the maintenance items were completed and I could get my car back. At that time, there were so many customers waiting to get back their cars and the valet staffs were all busy. Then I saw my car driving to the waiting area and to my surprise that was Colton to personally deliver my car back and handed the keys back to me to ensure I could get out speedy. Colton really deserves 5 stars and he's the best SA you can ask for. By all means, I'm happy with all the staff and Service Dept at BMW of Brooklyn. They are friendly and helpful all the time. - William T.

First Service Experience

Picked up my 2018 X3 in mid Jan '18 and had a recall notice in mid March. Made an appointment for a Saturday morning. They had to check the installation of the spoiler and make sure all the screws were properly installed. As it turned out there was no problem at all and everything is fine with the X3. When I arrived they took my car right away and Isaac told me what was going to be checked and he would keep me informed as to progress, which he did. I was in and out within 90 minutes. The car was washed and I left a happy customer because there was nothing wrong with the car and I got great service. Hopefully this will continue in the future.

Not being honest

Charge you for service that you did not request for. xxxxxxxx for service that he did but actually not as on the work performance paper it did not state. Let you sign without explaining. Watch out!

Recent Service on my BMW.

I recently brought my BMW in for service. I met with my service representative (Neil) and we went over the work that was to be performed. The work was performed promptly and Neil went over the invoice for the work that was done with me. I have been dealing with Neil and Nick the service manager and have always enjoyed great service here. They are very accommodating when you want to schedule service. They explain what service was performed. In the event that they find additional work that they believe should be done they always explain the nature of the work and the reason that they recommend that it be done. I am very pleased with the service that I receive whenever I have to bring my car in. Mark L

Clueless

The review prior to this one can't be any more right! 2018 vehicle with a problem but if you did not get the car from Brooklyn, your not important. The car literally was dropped off and probably driven directly out the exit without being serviced at all. Including the fact that they insisted they serviced the vehicle (with the wrong vin/color/model ). Problem still exists, can't accommodate an appointment or courtesy vehicle for another week. Unacceptable.

BMW is TRASH. BEWARE!

NO STARS! I am seething with anger. I recently purchased a vehicle and purchased the extended maintenance plan because (naturally) I expected to keep my car. Unfortunately, I got into an accident with my X1 with "X-Drive" . And by the way...Chevy's have better AWD systems than what my X-1 did. But anyways. I requested a refund of the extended warranty through the Service Advisor at BMW of Brooklyn and he told me that it wasn't possible due to some bulls***t rule or whatever. I called customer service and got the same lame response. My gripe is that I through an unfortunate event of loosing a car that I worked hard for unexpectedly. They didn't even give the courtesy to get reimbursed for an option I really didn't have to purchase. And not only that, there is no car to service anymore because the car was totaled. I really thought BMW was a company with more integrity than this. SO NOW I know where I stand with BMW. For my first car purchase I should have never went to you guys. And I wont be going back ever. Im sure you could give 2 S**ts anyways.

The Sales person and the General Manager worked with me to find the perfect car for my wife with exactly the options she wanted. This was easily the best car buying experience I have ever had. I will be a customer for life. Thank you again for your knowledgeable and professional staff.

Just purchased a 2018 X3 and everything went very smooth as expected from a BMW dealer. I worked with Anthony and was very pleased with the whole experience. I first went to the dealer in NJ where I bought my first BMW and their price quote was nowhere near the price I got from Anthony. The car arrived on time, when promised and was equipped as I ordered. For my next BMW I will go to BMW of Brooklyn first. I have not gone to service yet but I expect the same level of satisfaction. So far so good. PS- love the X3.

The best dealership experience I’ve had

From start to finish, the team of professionals at BMW of Brooklyn exceeded all expectations. I leased my prior Bimmer on Long Island but when I was looking for a replacement, I checked out other dealers and the Brooklyn One was the most attentive and courteous. Happy in my new 330!

made buying a new car relatively easy

i get new cars every 2-3 years and usually the experience is dreadful. i have to haggle, complain about BS fees that spontaneously appear out of nowhere at the time of signing, or the sales people lie. sometimes all of the above. this was probably my first ever car buying experience that didn't involve any of the above. i came in. asked about the car i wanted. i was offered a car off the lot close to what i wanted or a custom order. the first price they gave me was very good and honestly i would have agree to it anyway, it was THOUSANDS less than other BMW dealerships around NYC. but i got them to take it down a little more. i ordered the car, the car showed up, no surprises here. this is how it should be but unfortunately usually isn't. i have to commend them on how they handled me. i came in expecting to be tricked or lied to as usual, so i was a little brash and all around xxxxxx. but they were nice to me through the whole process. so thank you for that and i apologize for giving you guys a hard time. there is no question that i will be coming back here.

Purchase of Certified pre owned BMW

Alex was an excellent salesman. He was courteous, easy to speak with and understanding. He explained everything to me in a easy to understand way. I will definitely come back to BMW of Brooklyn for my next purchase and have already recommended him to my sister who will be returning a lease next year and change over to BMW of Brooklyn. Also, Manny from Finance was very well mannered and explained in detail all the terms and Justine was great in explaining how the car worked. BMW of Brooklyn has an excellemt staff and I highly recommend them.

The best Service Advisor, Colton! Great Service Center!

I'd like to take some time to write this review from my truth experience with BMW of Brooklyn Service Center. Just want to be upfront that I didn't buy my car from BMW of Brooklyn. I always been skeptical about any dealerships in NYC as they've known to rip people off in NYC. I used to take my car to NJ for service but I took a chance this time and brought my car in BMW of Brooklyn for simple oil change just to get a feel of Service Center. However my whole experience with BMW of Brooklyn and my Service Advisor, Colton S. had changed my view completely. Colton is true professional and knowledgeable about BMW. He spent time to explain to me about my BMW warranty & maintenance coverage even this wasn't my 1st BMW. For maintenance items, he went over with me one by one and made sure my car didn't miss anything. For issue that required diagnostic, he would be upfront about the dealership diagnostic fee and even would work with his manager to make sure the repair items covered by warranty. Colton even emailed me on his day off and gave me an update of my car. He's the type of professional guy that makes this Service Center earned the 5 stars. Management should consider give him a raise/promotion and big bonus! Aside from Colton, everyone in the Service Center are very courteous and helpful. My overall experience is very positive and will return if my BMW needs any service again.

Yes, I am here again and wow…… What a service center. I always feel like the red carpet is on the service floor at this service center and my BMW's and myself are the super stars. BMW of BROOKLYN is the only place I will ever bring my weekend ultimate driving rocket machine. An honest assessment of the repair needed, technical know-how, fair pricing, genuine BMW original equipment parts and a knowledgeable staff. Danny Dermody and Nick Giordano are my service advisers. Love them like family!

The name's changed, the people are the same

BMW in Brooklyn changed its name recently. For everyone who loves BMW, who considers himself as a member of Great and Glorious BMW family this event means something. For me it is an acknowledgment of the fact that this dealership belongs to us – brooklynites, serves us, helps us , exists as a part of our connection to BMW. It was my first visit to the same facility after its renaming. The same people met me inside, same smiles, same no-formal interest of my well-being, my business, and my day. From the very first moments I immersed into the atmosphere of friendship, care and confidence that everything would be all right. All team was working as one whole mechanism, synchronized and attuned to help me. I dare to suggest that everyone of us who comes here feels the same because I am just an average customer not long ago acquired a beautiful but not fancy and expansive BMW X1. I am a retired person with no connections, meaning there is nothing special about me and still I feel there as VIP. Everyone from this wonderful team is treating us as the special guests just by doing their everyday duties. Isn’t that amazing? Michael Granito meats you at the entrance, takes your car and fluently checks its appearance. He does it in such way that it would never hurt your dignity no matter what condition your car in at the moment. Two young ladies at the front desk: Maria DuPont and Lauren Frisica help with documents, filling up the papers for a loaner and besides all are the first buffer that absorbs all kind of questions, requests, complains and any possible curious things that could happen. Robert Gilberto - the service advisor shortly but very much coherently explains what tests would be done for your car, what you can expect after and when everything would be done. It is useful to say that he always keep his word. It would not be possible for any team to work like that without a right supervision carried out by Manager Nick Giordano. I believe his guidance, his ability to maintain this atmosphere of friendship in the team that comes to us does make a difference in the whole servicing process. I sincere apologize if I did not mention anybody from this great team by name. I did not do it purposely. I hope next time I will be introduced to other people who is helping me there. I like the new name of our dealership but I have to say that it is not the name that adorns the business, it is the people who make the name shines. Thank you.

To all u happy Bmw owners !dont wanna burst ur bubble , but wait till u try to end ur lease , save your reviews or do ur homework now !#1 Bmw and Bmw financial have no affiliation at call and ask them yourself they are a leasing company that leases all kinds of cars under all different names ! Try asking them where u bought ur car they have no idea ! #2 Bmw of bklyn is the worst dealership I've ever dealt with ! 20years of leasing cars , infinity,Lexus ,Acura, and more ! 15 calls to 6 different people and still no answers ! Clueless operation ! More to follow

Danny D did it right!

I came in for a battery replacement and was ready for the high price to maintain a BMW but Danny tried his best to get me the best price and I couldn't be happier. Now it was cheap still an expensive battery! Also don't expect it to happen all the time ever occasion is different but the service was quick and I have 0 complaints.

I have leased my third BMW from Life Quality BMW (now Brooklyn BMW) and have leased or purchased many vehicles over the years. My prior advisor retired and I work with Alex Gilkis. You can look as far and wide as you want in the tri-state area and you will not find a better dealership or advisor by a wide margin and on all of the factors that are important -- honesty, accuracy, attention to detail, fairness and follow-through. I strongly encourage you to meet with Alex Gilkis. He and the dealership are exemplary.
