Oil and Fuel Filter service

I went in for a oil change and fuel filters and a recall on my truck both the recall on the oil change were taken care of in a timely manner and Nicole from service advised me that it was too soon to fuel filters that even though they were at 35% they still have plenty of life left which I appreciate that instead of making a easy sale she saved me from spending money that I did not have to spend do to that honesty I will definitely be back for service

Joe greeted me as soon as I arrived and told me he would be right with me as soon as he got off the phone and then he was very cheerful and pleasant to me, he also explained all that was recommended on my vehicle. I was also acknowledged by Pete Vargas while I was in the service department which was a nice gesture.

It's now worse

I brought in my very high mileage Dodge Magnum for a fuel tank replacement under a life time warranty. I drove the car into the dealership, the car ran fine, but an overflow valve inside the tank had failed. It did not affect the way the car ran unless the tank was full. With that being said, the service advisor recommended the vapor canister be replaced at $234.00 for the part, plus installation. Of course I declined and ordered the part from another dodge dealer for $130.00 and I would install it myself. When I went to get my car, it ran terribly. So bad that I immediately returned to the dealer within 50 yards. Please understand that I am a mechanic, I fully understand that all parts have an expiration date that is unknown, but when someone tries to overcharge you $100 for the same part, you refuse because no one likes to be taken advantage of, and now your car is no longer usable.... Luckily, I don't need this car, I just love it. On a positive note, the service advisor Sal, was friendly and communicated well, the shop is clean and well maintained.

I would not recommend this dealer.

This dealership is the classic cat and dog show, They will make come and go a few times until you get tired of running around and they get a deal that only benefits them,

Customer service I received from Joel, service department was excellent. He was very prompt at answering all my questions and concerns I had regarding my vehicle. I have dealt with him on a different occasion when he was not assigned to my vehicle and knew the knowledge of the kind of service I needed. Sonja had only been a sales associate for a few weeks but she did a great job. There was a little confusion with getting the navigation system working in my car and it took a couple of days to get it straightened out. My only dissatisfaction arose from not getting phone calls returned, they need to work on intraoffice communication. And maybe know your Fiat Spiders a little better? I understand that mine was the first one that was sold but they should have known about the navigation SD card. PS - there was not a Fiat selection on the brand list below.

A nice purchasing experience

I found the vehicle we wanted on-line. using USAA and CARFAX. Arranged an appointment with the friendly salesman, Alex, took the test drive,, bought the car. Our ONLY gripe is that, even with prior approval/proof of insurance, it seemed to take a long time to draw up the paperwork. Once that was done, signing and the vehicle once-over were easy and we were out of there. The car looks like new. This was our best vehicle purchasing experience. Thanks, Lithia Dodge!

Aweful

I took in my perfectly functioning FIAT on a Saturday for a safety recall announced by the factory regarding the clutch. The job was supposed to take 2 hours. It took them 4 to completely screw up my car. The clutch pedal felt really weird from the beginning. On my way back home (a 2 hr drive), the ESC light came on. I called them to let them know and they said that the workshop was closed and the service manager told me to schedule an appointment another day that week, he also said that it was safe to drive home. Well, during that ride back, the clutch became harder and harder until it completely failed. I couldn't put it in gear. When I pressed the clutch pedal it would stay stuck down, I would have to flip it up with my foot. It resulted that the car broke down after a catastrophic failure of the clutch and the vehicle left me stranded on the highway. I had to push it off the road and get it towed to my home at my expense because FIAT only towes for less than 50 miles. I called Lithia office and spoke to a guy named Ray who told me that from Monday through Friday there was their "real" mechanic while on Saturdays there was the "junior" mechanic. When the car got towed back to them 2 days later it sat in their parking lot with no ticket and it took another two weeks for them to repair it. In the meantime we asked for a loaner but they said they didn't have one. I called a number of times, not once did I get a professional answer or even a truthful reply. They said that the only thing wrong with the car was a faulty light on the dash.They never took responsibility for their mistake or in any way try to make it right. And now that I got my car back from them I don't trust it anymore. I will never use Lithia Dodge Dealership mechanics or service center. They are unprofessional. They don't stick to the times they state, seem unsure on how to fix FIATS, have an attitude when dealing with customers and generally don't seem to care.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Horrible, insulting Sales manager

This people lie, lie, horrible dealership. Get every thing in writing before you agree to anything. They promised one thing, but when it was time to put it in writing, they did not come thru.
