Disappointing

My salesman promised some things and of course those promises were broken when the car was purchased it’s a shame how they treat their military men so whatever you do please don’t go see BIG T whose name is actually Thomas he’s a liar. This place is unprofessional once they sale you a vehicle that’s pretty much it they won’t nothing else to do with you and won’t answer your phones either. All I was trying to do was buy me a gift to celebrate my 10 year anniversary for serving our country but these guys don’t appreciate that . I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to this shop

BEWARE

I found this dealer from cars.com and trusted the mostly positive recommendations on here. However, I wish I had gone on Google and read those as well as there seems to be an ever growing number of experiences similar to mine. Their responses are all copy and paste word for word to each person, extremely generic, and devoid of any real compassion to correct their behaviors. If there was an option for negative stars, I'd absolutely give them their fair share or negative for the xxxx I've been through since purchasing a vehicle from them. I purchased a vehicle back in October 2016. Firstly, they sold me a vehicle with tires so dangerously bald, that within under 3 weeks, the car began to shake violently. I was told one of them could have blown out on the way home from buying it, it was that bad. I replaced them and moved on, though I was already beginning to feel taken advantage of at this point. When December approached and I still hadnt received my tags and plates, I decided to call them. I explained to them the temporary registration by this time was nearly expired and I was concerned that I still hadn't received a call or email. I was told "the state was extremely behind and that they had many customers with the same issue. " I was also told that he had no solution for the fact that I may receive a ticket for driving my car once it expired. I advised him that I had moved and asked if he was positive that I couldn't have missed them. He declined to take my new address, told me to "have fun" and ended the call. This story was the same when I called again about my tags later. No one wanted to take responsibility, no one wanted to get my new address, and no one cared that I couldn't legally drive my car. When I was forced to contact DMV, I was informed that the car had had tags assigned since November. I just received them in June after I had to ask for a manager, and call them out for lying to me. They told me they'd sent them to my old address and had them returned so they were just sitting on a desk. Again... no would take my new address when I said I had moved, no one checked on this when I called, and no one called/emailed me when they returned. Now we come to present day, when I find out that I can't even get out from under this disaster. No ethical, reputable dealer will take my car as they sold me a vehicle with not one but two safety recalls. Luckily, one can be taken in and repaired immediately.... the other one that involves the possibility of the air bag killing me if I were involved in a collion..cannot be corrected anytime soon. Both recalls were announced prior to the purchase... I'd like to say when I call the dealer tomorrow that they'll have been unaware and offer to help, but I highly doubt it. At this point, I have no faith in them. They saw a young, newly on her own female who had no family in a new state and took advantage... and I feel sick at this point. I refuse to put this car up for sale knowing it's dangerous, just as any other dealer with a conscience would have. SO PLEASE...PLEASE.. don't be like me. Stay away, far away. Go somewhere with more than mostly good reviews in one place. Go somewhere well known to be honest. And if you are someone like me, let's help each other... post as many reviews as you can, file complaints with DMV, and help keep this from happening to others. Don't believe me, look through reviews on Google and read those with the same generic word for word response. Look at BBB, they have awful ratings and don't respond to complaints. I never post reviews and I'm posting this every single place I can.

My husband found this truck on line. He call Andrew and went there that day. We got financed in know time. The people are very nice and friendly. They don't pressure you to buy a car or truck. Great place and they got some really nice cars! We got a great deal!

I saw the vehicle online and called JC Hernandez to set up a visit to see it. The car was ready for me when I arrived and was exactly as described in the ad. Great vehicle at a great price. Overall excellent experience. Love my new Jag! Will buy our next car here too.

No Pressure, quick and easy

JC was my salesman, I knew the car I was interested in and didn't need to look around. All of the info I needed was on the website with lots of photos. The Carfax link was right there too. I sent off a note from the website and JC called me to set up an appointment for a test drive within a couple hours. My week was very busy and I had little time to spare. JC was patient and helpful. No pressure at all from him. I knew getting financed was going to be a challenge. I was expecting an outrageous finance rate. When JC sat me down with Cisco the finance guy, I was relieved. Cisco was a little nervous to show me the rate I think. Knowing that my credit had been torn to shreds, I was pleasantly surprised with the deal he presented to me. Did I get a great deal? On the price of the vehicle, Yes. The financing? No, and that is my fault. I think they gave me the best rate they could get me and it was much better than I expected., Overall, I am very pleased by my experience with Lone Star. Quick, easy and best of all....No vultures to deal with. JC and Cisco, thanks for getting me into the vehicle I was looking for! Mark
