New to MINI, now here for good

I recently purchased my first MINI. Working with Jake and Adnan was like working with friends. I wanted to test drive a JCW with the manual transmission. The only one they had was the floor model. They said no problem and fired it up and drove it off the floor. The whole experience was truly a positive experience. They were very knowledgeable about MINI and have made me a forever fan. They truly exceeded my expectations, especially for a customer who was new to the brand.

First class operation.

Jake, Calvin and Allen all worked together to help me trade in my existing Mini for a newer one. I've been to other Mini dealers and none compared to the service and professionalism I encountered at Mini of Baltimore. They really went above and beyond!

Totally downhill!!!

What used to be an honest reputable dealer has turned into a true scam. Having dealt with them for the past 8 years, the dealer/service loyalty no longer exists. Do not lease from them, they will not honor the extended warranty, they will scam you into having work done with them which actually becomes an inflated price. They neglect to inform you the truth about your lease. I'm done...it was a good run while it lasted. I don't need to spend thousands of dollars and be treated as a pion!!!

John Mays of Mini of Baltimore not only made my experience rewarding, but stress free. He heard me when I said what I wanted, what I was will to pay, and what my requirements were in a car. He gave me no more no less. It was an easy and streamlined process. I guess that's why this is my third Mini! lol The service department is also one of the best I have encountered. I don't remember the service agent's name I feel so bad as I'm typing because he is really the one who made sure I was

Great car buying experience!

Stopped by to look at some cars and Jason Rourk was very friendly, helpful, and patient over the course of several test drives. He answered all our questions and was easy to deal with. No pressure. And after all that it was no problem that we wanted to go home and think about the model we wanted. When we returned to buy, they walked us through some problems transferring insurance and a misplaced title. Everyone made us feel at home, including Adnan, Clavin, Alison, and Cooper. We plan to be back when my wife is ready to trade-in her car!

They've earned my loyalty!

I just purchased my second MINI, a custom factory order on a 2017 Cooper S from MINI of Baltimore. I should probably also footnote this - I'm a MINIac. Jeff did his best to find what I wanted already in stock somewhere, but when you have a list as specific as mine - down to the color - I knew I was asking for the moon. So, a factory order was the way to go. We paid the required deposit (which was made absolutely clear was non-refundable), and they put my custom order in right away. Tracking the car through production and shipping was exciting and Jeff kept in close touch throughout. I asked a ton of questions and each one was answered promptly and thoroughly. Understanding my excitement to get my car, Jeff made other arrangements for me to take delivery while he was out on vacation so that I wouldn't have to wait longer for it. Fortunately, those alternative arrangements weren't needed after all, but, it's the little things like this that speak to the type of dealership you're working with. This is the kind of place that will keep my brand loyalty secure. Now that I have taken delivery of the car, they've kept in touch with me to ensure my total satisfaction - even going above and beyond to try and find the source of a weird bit of digital feedback coming from my speakers. I wasn't offered "dates" with Motoring Geniuses with my first MINI (purchased at a different MINI dealership) - and I've really appreciated the one-on-one intro to some of the new features in this car. The service department is also fantastic, I know I can call anytime for answers and even recommendations on tires and window tinting (because I have!). These folks are friendly, knowledgeable, and just really bend over backwards to ensure your satisfaction. We'll be returning in the coming months to order my fiancé's MINI convertible as well. Motor on, y'all. (And don't forget to wave to other MINIs!)

Just Bought My 4th MINI

I just bought my 4th MINI, all from MINI of Baltimore County. I bought this one off the showroom floor. Salesman Jeff Testerman bent over backwards to answer all of my questions, get me a great price on my trade, and get me in the new car for a test drive -- without being pushy. I left a deposit on the car on a Saturday. Picked the car up on the following Monday. And, the process was quick and professional. It is very likely I will buy my next MINI from MINI of Baltimore County.

Fantastic Experience All-Around

This was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. My husband and I went in on Saturday to purchase a used Mini for my husband, which we did. We worked with Jeff Testerman, who was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely easy-going. My husband had a blast on his test drives, there were 2, and went home with his vehicle, a Countryman S, that afternoon after a smooth visit with Calvin in finance and chatting over college football in the waiting area with other extremely friendly staff members and Mini drivers alike. While shopping for the husband, I fell in love with a 2016 Cooper S Convertible, and immediately left an application for lease as it was the end of the day with the plan to reconnect with Jeff on Monday. Unfortunately, by the time he arrived at work on Monday someone else was already purchasing 'my car', but he called me right away and began an effort to locate the same vehicle which he promptly did and upon returning from work travel just a few days later I picked it up and experienced the same smooth process with Calvin and team my husband had just days prior. Jeff, Calvin, and Team are fantastic and I highly recommend them!

Horrible

The sale person Jim said that he could do a search for a car from any mini dealership to get the car that I wanted that was a lie. He found a car that he said was at the New Jersey port with assessories I wanted and that the would probably be here that Friday this was a Monday needless to say there was no car at the Jersey port I ask Calvin the. Finance guy would I be able to get my deposit back if I did not like the car and his. Reply was why would we hold your money yes you could get your money I left a deposit I did a search that night and found a better car for the same price I call Jim to see if they could get that car from mini of Montgomery and he said no I said you told me you get a car from any dealership .I told him I would prefer that car he said he could get a car from any dealer. That was a lie He said that I could not get my money back I told him that Calvin said I could get the money and Jim reply was Calvin shouldn't of told me that I tell JIm I will call him back Jim is so upset with me he leaves the dealership now Calvin the finance guy becomes my sales person next day I go look at the car and it's not what I ask for. I ask Calvin for my money back first he try to convince me to take the car and gives me another $500 off of their car then Calvin tell me the money is up stairs in the safe that He probably could give me a check I say ok so then he go's to get the sale manger. Now that guy Calvin says in front of the manager that he didn't tell me I could get my money I misunderstand him I can not get my money back I know what he said and he know what he said When I signed the deposit receipt it DID NOT SAY NONREFUNDABLE I know what I signed I went out side to make call and left all the paper work on the desk to make a call.Calvin falsified the deposit receipt well I was outside When I came back in now the paper work say non refundable they are liars DONT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP go mini of Montgomery customer service is outstanding they tell the true

Lovin' my MINI Countryman!

I was treated very well at Mini Baltimore County. Jason Rourk and Jake Mays took very good care of me. They answered all my questions, let me drive numerous vehicles, brought every vehicle out that I wanted to see, answered my financing questions, accommodated my husband on a separate visit and worked with me to get the Mini that was just right for me! After I bought it, they both spent time going over the entire vehicle with me. It was a very pleasant car buying experience. They also made it very clear that this was just the beginning of my Mini voyage! They will be available down the road not just at the time of purchase.

My recent purchase of a new Mini was a very pleasant experience. I was looking for a car with specific features and Jason took the time to search their inventory and beyond for one that met my needs. Jason is definitely focused on the customer having a positive buying experience. All the paperwork was ready when I arrived to pick up the car which streamlined the process. Brian took me on a test drive on a variety of roads to see how the car handled, and when I picked my Mini up, he spent time going over all the features of the car. Really nice guys to do business with; very professional and genuinely interested in making the car buying experience as smooth as possible.

Outstanding dealership

This dealership is the best one I have ever dealt with.It does not matter who you deal with, they always have your interest as their first priority. Last year I lost my husband very suddenly and when I had to go to the dealership for some repair work, Yoni went out of his way to make sure that Mini paid as much as possible for the repair. This will always be my go to dealership.

maintenance and repair service

Allen my Service Manager was attentive, thorough, and unhurried at my vehicle check in. He answered all of my questions to my satisfaction eventhough not all of them pertained to my reasons for service that particular day and genuinely cared about my vehicle and any concerns I had. My maintenance and repair were completed in the estimated amount of time. When I asked about a particular maintenance issue he honestly advised me that while it could be done at this time, it wasn't necessary and would be costly.

Mini of Baltimore once again has gone above and beyond! This is the second vehicle we have purchased with the help of Jason Rourk in the past 8 months. Jason went above and beyond to assist us. He knowingly scheduled an appointment with us after his work day was done. He sacrificed time with his family helping us purchase a vehicle to replace one totaled in an accident. Top Notch Dealership

Mini is always very polite and friendly, but not stodgy like BMW. I took my car in because the batery died during the cold, but they didn't try to sell my a new one since they said I am not ready. They did discover a serious problem during my routine maintenance. Since my warranty had expired the month before, they pleaded my case with Mini, and I ended up getting the $3,000 job covered. They gave me a brand new loaner while they worked on my car for a few days. When it was ready, I told them I was worried about driving back in the snow, so they let me keep the loaner for another day. I can't say enough about what a great dealership this is. I am on my second Mini, and I am sure I will buy another when it's time.
