First experience with Service Department

Took 2018 Ram in for 1st oil change. Was scheduled for 1 hour. Was only 35 minutes. REV reward is great. Everyone is always so nice. Even seen the salesman that sold us the truck, he inquired about our satisfaction of the vehicle. Wonderful follow up, great customer care. So glad we purchased from Martin Dodge !

Very positive buying experience

I had been looking for a used Dodge Challenger for a couple years and finally I started getting serious about buying one. I saw that the Martin Dealership had one and I thought I would stop in and check it out. As I was walking to thedoor I was thinking "Okay guys fresh meat is here so come and get you some" hahaha I was met by a salesman named Curtis Hockersmith. This guy was extremely friendly and wasted no time showing me the car I came to see. Within 10 minutes we were on a test drive. This young man was very knowledgeable about the car and features. If he didn't know the answer, he didn't wing it but replied with I am not sure but I will find out and he did just that. The negotiating process was smooth and fair from start to finish and I can honestly say I never got mad ( as I usually do ) or walked out angry. The whole negotiating process took less than 10 minutes. The car I was looking at had an outstanding recall that was just issued less than a week ago and Curtis and the service team made sure that was fixed within 3 hours of me buying the car. Out of all the cars I have bought in my life this is the only one I felt led to leave a review about. I would encourage you to call Curtis and team at Martin if you are looking for a car that they have. No game playing or anything like that at all. I love the car and for the first time the next day I wasn't kicking myself in the butt for buying it. Very professional and totally low pressure!

Overbooked

Whoever does their scheduling is awful. They always overbook the mechanics and puts them behind. What should take 30 mins to an hour oil change takes 2 hours or more. The staff is friendly and I know it's not their fault. So I dont blame them. QUIT OVERBOOKING! Sad part is, this happens all the time.

Regular service

Took my vehicle in for scheduled service. Staff was friendly and work was timely and reasonably priced for a dealership. This visit was much more pleasurable than the last, and it’s apparent that they are doing a much better job.

Poor repair

Problem with this dealership service department is that I took my truck in tohave a recall done on it. The passenger side air bag. When I took it in everything worked fine. When I got it back before I got home the airbag light was on on the dashboard. Call and the service adviser Robert ( which was very knowledgeable and courteous.) told me to bring it back in at my convenience and they would see what it was, well before I get home I notice the defrost control isn’t working either. Or the a/c now I start thinking that they have accendently left something unplugged. So I call back and let them know. Again bring it in and we’ll take care of the problem. I take it back a day or two later which it hadn’t been driven except home and back to dealership. Get back there and the tech looks at it and now all of a sudden they tell me my tipm is defective. My truck had no problem before the dealership put their hands on it and now they want 1500.00 to replace The tipm. I took the truck home and will be contacting my attorney. This is very poor quality of work here. The advisers are good.

Re programing computer.

I had my injectors replaced by a dealership in another town. Immediately I had issues. They said they would look into the problem but I had to pay for the inspection. I took my truck (2007 Dodge 3500 Diesel Pickup) to another independent dealer. They told me the codes may be due to needing the computer updated. So I took it to Martin Dodge Jeep Chrysler to have it done. All codes gone and it cost less than I was told. That never happens at a car dealership. I will use them again.

Amazing Customer Service

I had the pleasure of working with Drew as my salesperson. He was so nice, not pushy, and went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deal. DJ in the finance department is awesome as well. When I’m in need of another new vehicle I will definitely be going back to Martin Jeep.

A good ex pool eeience

Had new tires installed at Discount Tire and they recommended the dealer for alignment. It's really difficult to mess up a basic alignment on a new-ish car with no history of suspension trauma. Good service. Friendly, timely, and reasonably priced.

I have purchased two new vehicles from Martin and have those and a third one serviced there. All three are Chrysler products. I never have issues getting my vehicles serviced. I have even been accommodated without an appointment. The guys are great and the shuttle service is awesome. Very happy with these guys.

Problems during trip

My wife and I were traveling to Nashville from Owensboro KY and as we neared Bowling Green the Service Transmission light came on and the vehicle began to operate sluggishly (not able to accelerate going up hills). My wife Googled the issue and found advice to stop the vehicle, restart and that should help the issue until we could get to a dealer. We did that, however the Service Transmission light returned. I then asked my wife to Google the nearest Jeep dealer in the area which brought us to Martin's. I went into the Service Department and was greeted by William K Stuart (Service Adviser). I explained the situation and that we were passing through to visit some friends in Nashville for the day. They were obviously busy so I thought it might be a situation where we would have to return home instead of proceeding with our trip, Although his transmission specialist was out with a death in the family, he spoke to another tech and they decided to conduct a diagnostics on the Jeep to see if they could discover the problem. William stated that this usually happens with older, high mileage Jeeps (change fluid) - however, ours was a 2015 with only 37k miles. Once they performed the diagnostics, they discovered the following (from the invoice): "Jeep in limp mode run on laptop found tsb for this concern flash tcm and pcm perform quicklearn on transmission and test drive clear dtc." They informed us they could fix the problem and have us back on the road very soon. My wife and I both were so appreciative to both William and the technician for getting us in quickly, assessing the problem, making the needed adjustments and getting us back on the road to our destination. I believe if it wasn't for William's genuine concern, we would have missed an opportunity to visit a friend I had not seen in over 40 years. Thank you Martin's for employing people like William who display understanding and kindness to those who walk into their shop. Although I don't live in Bowling Green, I will always remember the kindness and wonderful service we received from your dealership. BTW, we had a wonderful visit with our friends and returned home safe and sound with no additional troubles with the Jeep. Respectfully, John & Dee Bryenton Owensboro, KY

I took my Ram 3500 in for a PCM update and it works great now. I did ask that none of the creature comforts be adjusted like the steering wheel, seat position etc. but the heater was put up way higher than I like it. Other than that it was great.
