3 STRIKES, I'M OUT!

Strike 1 - took my car in last fall for an oil change and tire rotation, ended up with a damaged steering wheel. Thought that was a fluke, not so sure now. Strike 2 - took my car in last Tues for a routine oil change, ended up with a broken, scratched passenger door with torqued hinges...WHAT!! Strike 3 - NO ONE at McGrath's seems to care, the attitude has been one of making me feel that I'm putting them out for damage they caused!! Apparently my business does not matter to them! I had to push to get a decent loaner, one comparable to my vehicle. Also told i had to return the loaner with 1/2 tank of gas(really, are you kidding?) I told them I wasnt paying for the oil change and they said they'd see if they could comp me this one, again, are you serious? Disappointed in the treatment i have gotten, I had to ask for an "I 'm sorry." I will NEVER trust them again, sorry i didn't listen to my friends. Live and learn.

Have serviced my vehicles for years Always accepted ALL COUPONS for oil changes. When I presented my coupon today for an oil change (used these same coupons ,many times before) it was no good because "McGrath would lose money." Either you do or don't accept coupons? Bet they did not lose money on the three cars I have bought over the last 5 or 6 years. Took my coupon and left. NEVER to return

Customer service is non existent after the sale

We purchased a New Kia and 5 months later my spouse died. I didn’t need 2 cars and determined to sell the car through private sale. The car is still not listed on Kelly Blue book, because of that I contacted McGraths 3 times to get help with a value of the car. The first time was through the chat feature on the website. I explained what I needed, got a call the next day and the salesperson acted like she didn’t read my question. When I explained that I needed information her suggestion was a curt “use Kelly blue book”. When I said the car wasn’t listed she said she would call me the next day. Still waiting 3 months later. The next time I received an email query from a salesman asking if there was anything additional McGraths could fo for me. I sent email explaining my issue and history with McGrath and asked for help with a valuation. Still waiting for a response. Today, I have opportunity to sell the car at an extreme Loss in valuation. In shock I once again called and asked for a salesman. The person who answered the phone said he could help me. After asking my question he said a manager had to help me. I was transferred and the operator answered. I said I was supposed to speak with a sales manager. She forwarded my call which rang and rang. Eventually the operator came back on and said Jared was not answering. I said I needed to talk to any manager. She forwarded my call which rang (yes I timed it) for 2 minutes. Eventually someones voice mail answered. I hung up. McGraths, thanks for your part in making an extremely difficult time due to the death of my spouse even more difficult. Your lack of customer service unless there is something in it for the individual sales person is astounding.

Great Service!

My wife and I have been in contact with Gage. He is a pleasure to work with and very professional. Gage goes out of his way to meet our very specific "wants". As you may or may not know, we are looking at Mazda's and I know this is not a line that you guys carry yet Gage and the Sales manager have gone out of their way to assist us. Whether we end up with McGrath or not, I want to thank you all for the excellent customer service. Dean

Worst experience ever

I want to share my experience with you, I went to that place thinking that it's the most trusted and qualified place to fix my car. But the truth wasn't even close they took advantage of me and my car. my car stayed there 21 day, although they didn't fix it. charged me a lot of money due to unnecessary repairs, gave me a biased answers. Told me that they fixed it, I paid and I drove it for 10 mins and It broke down in the middle of the road. Asked for a refund and they refused to refund me any, the manager is very rude and has an attitude. Result is I wasted my money and time :( Although I am so disappointed and frustrated from the whole experience, but for credibility I have to mention that Drew is a great person, he is the only person who truly care about my safety and my matter.

I was not sure what I was looking for when I started this process, but Kraig was very helpful and patient with me as I tried to figure out what the best model for me would be. Even though I didn't end up purchasing a car from him, I would recommend both him and the dealership for any of your needs. He was also very terrific about following up with me to make sure I had all my questions answered.

Personable & Quick Work

I am from out of state and came to this dealer to get an oil change. Travis was very personable and friendly during the whole process. He alerted me to a special I had for my car that I was not aware of. I decided not to take advantage of it at that time, but appreciated the fact that he even TOLD me about it. My car was taken in quickly...and the time waiting for the work to be completed seemed to fly by faster than I realized. The price was "right"...and things were done as I had requested (I had thrown in a few special requests that were not forgotten about). Next time I am in this area and need an oil change or work done on my Optima, I will return.

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had! The salesman Sam went way above and beyond anything I have ever experienced from a car salesman. He was very friendly and not pushy at all. Sam worked very hard to get us in the car that we wanted and stayed within our budget. We will definitely purchase our next vehicle from McGrath Kia and refer everyone there! We absolutely love the Sorento that we purchased!

I will no longer refer anyone to this dealership. I have heard of too many people getting taken advantage of at this dealership as well. Once they get you into the room with the finance department they don't let you leave. They keep you there for hours until you break down and give in. These people are a bunch of crooks!

The experience was wonderful. My husband hates looking for different vehicles but after our experience at Pat McGrath he was already talking about going back to get our next vehicle. We went to test drive a used Kia and ended up getting a new Kia at a great price. I would recommend them to all my relatives, friends and neighbors. We felt like we had time to make choses and not feel rushed and not pushed into anything we didn't want or need.

My car is unsafe to drive because it stalls when driving but the service department can't figure out why. Kia corporate won't help either, they insist the car is safe and can be used while I wait 6 weeks for a specialist to come to town to look at my car. Very disappointing at lack of concern for my safety and the safety of my children.

I scheduled a test drive of a Kia Optima and was linked up with salesman Ed Knebel. Ed is the kind of salesman I prefer in looking for cars. I don't deal on cars often at all, but when I do I absolutely hate the whole experience (not the people, just the process)! After the entire process of buying the Optima we test drove Ed has changed my perception of the process. His personality was the contributing factor for this. He was not the overbearing salesman! Ed took the time to listen to what we wanted and presented us with the different options and pulled up a car to test drive that we bought 1 1/2 weeks later.

I would recommend this dealer.

Ed was wonderful. I felt like he listened to me, was honest, and he helped me choose a car I was happy with. I was looking for a payment within a certain range and he was very helpful in that regard. I felt like I got a great price for my trade in and the KIA was a good deal for a high quality vehicle. Everyone was nice and welcoming. I was there at the the very end of the day and everyone was very patient and stayed late to help me. We made a deal and then I went to the finance department. I don't necessarily want to name anyone as the person who worked with me was very nice and I appreciated his help in getting me financing. HOWEVER, he explained the warrenty that would be provided to me by McGrath (60/100,000 miles) and I was very excited to hear that this was "provided by McGrath" as part of my purchase. The cost was 40-50 per month more than Ed had told me. I thought it was because I chose Gap coverage. I was stressed about it but I know this coverage is important and it was explained to me well. The Finance person had all the papers and very quickly pointed out the places I should sign, initial, sign, initial here and there. I did so and should have had him go over the contact with me. When I recieved the contract in the mail the following week I was suprised to see I spent over $4000.00 on this insurance I thought was "provided" as part of the purchase. I was never told this was costing me $4000.00 in addition to the Gap coverage. I would not have made this choice had I understood the additional cost as the manufacturer provided a power train warranty. I called the finance department to ask about it and was told that it had been explained to me. I guess since I am a professional woman I feel like I "get" things that are explained to me and NEVER was I told this was costing me extra. Granted, I understand I should have asked him to slow down and explain what he was telling me to sign. I was too trusting and I guess I feel "had". Despite how fantastic Ed did at his job, I am not sure I will purchase a car at KIA in the future. I feel like I was duped in the financial department. Lesson learned. I do like my new car though and Ed Knebel is definately an asset to your company.

I had a wonderful experience working with the staff to purchase my new Kia. Wyatt was very knowledgable about all of the cars that Kia offers and did a great job answering my questions. The reason why I have given such and excellent rating is because I have never experienced such personalized customer service and I really appreciated the honestly and dedication of the employees during and following my purchase. I highly recommend this dealership, you will not be disappointed!

I have not bought a car in several years and was hesitant about buying a car on my own because of my credit score. Johnny Eichenberger and the finance department at McGrath Buick GMC Cadillac worked with me, got me a fantastic interest rate and rebates, and I took my brand new Kia Forte home with me :) Johnny was very knowledgeable about the Forte, and is a very pleasant person to do business with. He put me at ease about buying a car on my own. Thanks to Johnny and McGrath Buick GMC Cadillac I have a new car and I will building my credit back up to the great rating I once had. They were also very reassuring that if I had any questions about the car or needed help figuring out any features on it to be sure to call them or bring the car in so they can personally show me. They also had the Bluetooth up and running so I could use the hands-free cell phone before I left the dealership. I love the Kia Forte and find excuses to go somewhere so I can drive it LOL I would definitely recommend a Kia to anyone and the best place to buy it.... McGrath Buick GMC Cadillac. I couldn't have a more pleasant experience buying a new car than with them.

Came in to look at buying a new Kia Optima. Ed Knebel was the first sales person to me. Which is one of the things I hate about car dealerships. (salesmen chasing you around the carlot). I told him what I was looking at online. So he pullled it in the dealership bay and showed the car to me. I took for a test drive.( which was a fully loaded EX) It was a good car and the one I kinda wanted. I told him the price I wanted to pay for it which was way under the MRSP of the car. But I came to by a car cash out the door! So instead playing the price game he went straight to his manger and brought him over. He couldn't meet me with the price I wanted. But he Brought me out a SX optima that had more options then the EX except the navagation unit. I took for a drive and liked it. They was able to sell it to me for the amount I was looking to spend. They said why they could offer me that car for that price was because it was a program car.(if you brought your car in for to be fixed or the dealer would drive it.) The only differance was that it had 107 miles already on it. So I felt comfortable buyingthat one. But I liked the EX one I was looking at but we was $2000 apart from each other. The color of the SX was actual color my wife wanted. I just wish it had the nav in it. But the sell went smooth. It took longer going through the paper work person and extra add on people then the sales person part. The cons so far is that I had to take back to the shop two times less of two weeks. The first time was for the horn. They forgot to pull a tab out in between the contacts when the car came in. The second time the check engine light came on. And they found a wire that wasn't getting a good ground. so they fixed it. Hopefully this will be last time I have to take it back. I bought other cars and trucks for McGrath sister location's and didn't have experenice with them. So I decided to give them one more try. They did send my wife a basket of goodies which was nice. But I would of been happy if they would've gave me accories though. I will be buying a new car for my son this summer for college and one for my daughter next summer. So I hope this car holds up to my exception. If so I be back to buy again. Hope they give a better deal. For buying more in a short amount of time.
