Amazing customer service

Just had to write a quick review. I was in Santa Barbara on business and my tire light went on. I stopped by the dealership- unannounced- and though they were busy, Dylan came out and asked what he could do to help me. When I told him, he said, "No problem." He took my keys and did a tire check and added a little air. When he came back, he asked if I wanted the car washed. No charge, just appeared this is the way they handle all their customers on a day to day level. Kudos. This is what customer service is all about. Dylan made me feel like I always wanted to feel when I bought a Mercedes-Benz. That does not happen at every dealership. If you are in Santa Barbara and need automotive help, I would strongly recommend this dealership.

This dealership is great. Their salesman was respectful and pleasant and knew absolutely everything about the new smart car. They took my information but didn't badger me. Although I didn't get a smart car, I would definitely return to this dealership if I was interested in their inventory.

Hey, it's a Mercedes. I guess if I wanted cheap service I would have bought another car. The folks at the SB Auto Group really care about their customers. That is obvious from start to finish ad why we keep going back. Zoran was extremely accommodating and did not push us into any unnecessary services, which is a common thing for auto dealerships. Having used the Santa Barbara Mercedes dealership over forty has been less than satisfactory. I noticed a very different view of the customer since new ownership has taken over. A major difference is the service person Jason who goes the extra step and when a time is given for pickup, it's ready. Another thing is that his assessment of the problem has been right on. The quality of service is EXCELLENT!

The entire process was easy and user friendly. All of our questions were answered completely and quickly by knowledgable people. The car purchase was open book. We knew the price of options as well as the overall sales prices including discounts. Our salesperson walked us through the entire person and gave an outstanding tutorial on the operation of features. I would use this again --no question.

Jason Horneman projects the image of a skilled professional who is most knowledgeable about his product lines and proud of the company he represents. He has the unique ability to carefully explain in detail necessary sevices or repairs. His estimates of cost and the time to complete the necessary services or repairs for our case have always been within his projections. Over the past twenty years we have purchased six Mercedes and we have never had any dealerships match the competence,Friendliness and accurate cost estimates of Jason Horneman and the Santa Barbara Auto Group

I have been using this dealer to service my car for many years. I can tell by the rest of the service clients whom I have observed come in that they feel, as I do, rescued from the morass of service centers and dealing with the great unknown of car diagnosis and repair. As with any business, it is about developing a personal relationship with your client. Mr. Lazarevic makes my concerns and business feel personal. I appreciate this level of attention from both Mr. Lazarevic and Santa Barbara Auto Group (SBAG) for supporting this level of service from their employees and for their clients. I went in for a smog check, which clearly could have been less expensive at a road-side gas station. However, with SBAG, my car was also inspected from wheels up, and I was provided with a complete status report from safe to cautions to clear and advised as to when I would need to bring my car in for this service. Also, my car was returned to me completely cleaned. All in all it was a deal!

This dealership is by far the best that I have experienced in the past 17 years both within Mercedes Benz and across auto dealerships in general (I have purchased and/or leased luxury cars in various states)! What makes the experience the best is the customer service by the Sales and Leasing Consultants. My most recent experience was with Mr. David Zoesch. I had recurring mechanical problems with my 2009 E350 and contacted the dealership. Within an hour, the Sales Manager (Ben) reacted to the problem quickly and David called me to let me know that "as a valued customer, we want to make you happy by providing you with a new E350". When I arrived to the dealership, David was extremely friendly, personable, and professional. He offered refreshments (as I had a long drive), made great conversation, and he even had various choices of 2012 E350s literally lined up next to each other for me to look at and compare. What I appreciated most about David is his passion about Mercedes Benz in general and the vast amount of knowledge and experience that he presented to me. While waiting for paperwork and financing, David went above and beyond to answer questions that I had and was very thoughtful. He was thorough in teaching me about the "whistles and bells" that Mercedes Benz is known for and was patient in his explanations. After the purchase, David followed up within the week with a phone call and a handwritten "Thank-You" card! It is for these reasons that I continue to return to Mercedes Benz of Santa Barbara. David truly captures the epitome of customer service and illustrates how much Mercedes Benz values their customers!

I am a newcomer to this area and I needed a few things fixed on myMLl350. I am from Sun Valley Idaho and have gotten service in Boise , Idaho. but never have had such a good feeling from a dealership before as your dealership. Usually if they don't know you, you are treated with very little care. When I drove into your dealership I met Jason Horneman and he was so friendly, kind, and professional,he made me feel like I would be very well taken care of. He gave me confidence knowing that my problem could easily be fixed even though I didn't have an appointment. He took me right in and fixed my car within an hour. I left there thinking I can't wait to move here so I can use this dealership to fix my car.

My family and I were so impressed by the level of service we received while shopping for a new car at Santa Barbara Auto Group. Tom Siegel was very knowledgeable with a high level of integrity. He listend to all of our concerns/questions and patiently answered all of them. We had never been exposed to this level of outstanding service. We drove the car off the lot and traded in my old car on the same day!! I highly recommend Tom, his level of professionalism should be an example for all bussiness models. Thanks Tom!

Zoran is THE BEST. We have trusted him for years to give an honest, accurate, professional assessment of our maintenance needs. This Benz has 107,000 miles and has served us well and never dumped us--and during that time, neither has Zoran! We count on him and the dealership for excellent, reliable service, always given in a timely way and with his trademark sense of humor. He even throws in a free rental car and a cup of coffee!

Chuck was wonderful to work with. My wife was replacing a car after totaling her Audi in a crash and he was very sensitive to her needs. It was a big deal for her to test drive a new car and he was extremely caring and understanding. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and I enjoyed talking to him about cars in general. When it came time to purchase, he was very helpful and patient in the decision about financing and working with some scheduling issues, since we live in Ojai and had to find time to get back to Santa Barbara. I would definitely work with Chuck again and recommend him to others.

I have had my 2004 CLK 320 serviced and repaired at Santa Barbara Auto Group since it was new. Jason Horneman has been my service advisor throughout and taking my car in to him is more like going to see an old friend than visiting a dealership. He is always straightforward with me about what sort of work needs to be done and why, and is equally honest about what doesn't need to be done. He keeps the cost factor in mind and I never feel as though he's trying to "sell" me something. I greatly appreciate his guidance, his help and his respect for my time. I have also found all the other employees at the dealership with whom I've had contact to be friendly and courteous. The facility itself is clean, well maintained, and runs efficiently. I've never had to wait too long when dropping my car off or picking it up; if I do appear to be waiting, any employee who walks by always checks in with me to be sure I've been helped. Good service does seem to be the priority. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Santa Barbara Auto Group. My car runs very well and I will continue to have it serviced at SB Auto for as long as I own it. Given my positive experience with the service department, I would also consider buying my next vehicle at this dealership.

While traveling from Pasadena to Carmel, I experienced a major failure with my auto. After some assistance from Mercedes Benz road service, I was able to re-start my auto but was advised to seek professional assistance as soon as possible. I re-routed to return home thinking my trip aborted; very unhappy & disappointed. Then, I thought about contacting the Santa Barbara Mercedes dealership that I recalled passing earlier in the day. I was fortunate that Jason Horneman answered my call, asked relevant questions & was able to diagnose the problem with my auto while on the phone with me! Jason confirmed that the parts were in stock & that the service could be performed as soon as I arrived. Let me add, that this was on a Friday afternoon! I arrived within 35 minutes after initially contacting Jason and my car was taken into service. I waited about an hour or so and was invited by Jason to relax in the waiting room (with my dog). I received some of the best customer service ever and appreciate the attention to detail that Jason offered. And, I was able to complete my trip as planned! Thanks to Jason and Mercedes Benz Santa Barbara. Sincerely, Ruth Elder

I had several choices when I wanted to buy a new Mercedes, and I knew just who I wanted to buy from. SamTohki at SB auto group. After buying my wife a gl550 from Sam, I knew from then on that I had found the most honest, professional,and great all around guy. I had looked a year ago and Sam told me to wait for the 2012 CLS 63, boy was he right, this car is amazing. Sam gave me an incredible deal, traded other cars to get the exact car I wanted. Friends in LA told me they could get me a deal, but no one came close to Sam. The other dealers thought I was BSing them when I told them the deal. My trade in was a 2008 CLS 63 and I got a fair price on the trade. Sam is the man you want, he even refered me to a window tint place and they were awesome.
