A Mercedes Dealership that doesn't Warranty Mercedes?

By jaredandjami on 6/4/2019 at 6:44 PM. Helped by Jesus and Matt.

Bad customer Service. We purchased the last 4 Mercedes from them, then they became Auto Nation. Went to get a new car and they didn't have the one we wanted. We gave them time to find it and bring it in, once they found they called and told us to bring it in. The day we were to go in they called back and told us it was sold. We went to Lynnwood Mercedes Benz and asked them to find what car we wanted at let us know and we would purchase. They did and we purchased when it arrived. Two days later we had a flat on the new car (a Continental tire) that was bad. (No damage to tire only had 120 miles on tire) We brought the car to the Auto Nation Bellevue Mercedes and was told it was not under warranty and had to pay $495.00 for tire replacement (closest Mercedes to where we are). Paid the fee to get back to work, that afternoon we called and asked the dealership that we purchased if it should have been under warranty, "yes". Called Continental and asked if it should have been under warrant, "yes". RUN from these guys.....they are the worst! By the way Lynnwood Mercedes Benz gave the $495.00 back to us so we didn't have to deal with Auto Nation any more! I know where I will be buying my new cars from now on! Shame on you Auto Nation!

Complete Rip Off place to service your car !!

By mercguy on 10/1/2018 at 5:02 PM. Helped by Cannot recall.

Never go there. I am done with them. They charged me $1200 to get the front brakes done for my E 350 and I had to go there 2 times in 8 months to get them to fix the problems. They could not do it even after 2 attempts. Totally incompetent ! Then I took it to a local German car specialist and this was fixed. Of course I had to pay them but its been more than an year and I have had no issues. In addition, MB of Bellevue sliced the front left tire of my 4MATIC while taking it out of the workshop after their 'service' was done . They only replaced this one tire and not all 4 tires as it is a requirement for a 4MATIC to have all 4 tires replaced at the same time. Now after an year I see that my rear right tire is completely worn down due to the imbalance created. This is now forcing me to buy 4 new tires again just after 2 years ! These were the costly Michelin tires. All because of MB of Bellevue's mistake !

Ripoff Service

By tig on 9/23/2018 at 12:22 AM. Helped by I think Chris but not sure.

I used to stay with Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue many years. Changed few MLs 350. Always was happy with service. I know prices from previous services. With my previous MLs 50-60k serivice was around $800. With my last car 60K service quote unexplicably became $3K. After my amusement service specialists “adjusted” price to $2.5K. I refused of course. I found another certified dealership within a little of driving, but 60K service costed me today $600. I’m done with Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue.

They are not taking responsibility for the parts they broke

By chacha on 6/4/2018 at 11:57 PM. Helped by Matt Harris, Chad Dobbs.

Two weeks after purchasing a used Lexus from Mercedes of Bellevue, I took it back to them to replace the front strut on the driver's side because it was found leaking. After the car was returned to me, the front brake on the driver's side started to make a loud noise when I slammed on the brake. What's more is that the wheel lock key was gone too. So I took the car back for them to check. The service advisor, Matt, admitted that the brake is making noises. He said the brake was checked, but there was nothing wrong with it. How many of you would agree with "there is nothing wrong" when a brake is making noise? (Different from the noise when small rocks got stuck between rotors and brake pads) I asked him "Did you actually get a new wheel lock key to take the wheel off in order to check every component in the brake system?" He refused to answer my question, instead he kept on asking me to pick up the car from the dealership. Brake is one of the most crucial components to keep passengers safe. I am really scared of driving the car now because I never know at what moment will the brake stop working. Matt is putting my family and I in danger because of the malfunctioning brake, and doesn't want to take responsibility. P.S. All four rotors and brake pads were brand new and working properly at the time of purchase, which were also verified by a local auto shop.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Horrible. Stay away

By Bestman on 4/29/2018 at 2:01 AM. Helped by Brian.

I had the worst experience at Mercedes Benz of Bellevue. I came in for a scheduled recall service. This was scheduled over 1 week ago. When I come in there, a rude service manager talks with me, then your manager on the floor arrives and calms the situation down, apologizes and assigns a new service manager to work with me. 6-7 hours later, I get a message stating that my car is ready, but NO WORK HAS BEEN DONE. When I arrive there, I get a reason that the part was incorrect. This was scheduled over a WEEK AGO, and you still couldn't get the right part? And then, I was told, that they will follow up in a weeks time once they get the right part for the recall -- NOTHING TILL DATE. I think my vehicle was intentionally handled poorly, and it took you 6-7 hours to figure that the part was incorrect. Very POOR service, I did not expect this as a Mercedes-Benz customer. Please improve your service, and keep to your promises.

Second chance disappoints

By Panda12 on 4/28/2018 at 1:00 AM. Helped by Don’t recall the name, cuz he didn’t make an effort.

This is the second time I went in for service, and I do not plan to go back. Check in was OK, in the sense that they didn’t lose my appointment (like the other gentleman that was trying to check in). My advisor acted as if he could care less and never called throughout the day to give me an update. Picked up my car the next day and the “overdue for service” light was on when I got home. Not to mention that I couldn’t get my advisor’s attention when I came in. Radically different than the excellent service I got when I bought my car in Dallas. I am a Seattle girl, but this place pales in comparison when it comes to customer service. Really sad.

Argumentative & disorganized

By Lost Oppty on 1/21/2018 at 1:21 AM. Helped by Amani.

Wanted to buy a used Tesla. Sales rep couldn't verify inventory on the phone...took 45 min to call back. Meanwhile, the SMS company verified the car was still available & said I had an appt. Sakes rep left me a voicemailthat simply said car is avail. He was surprised when we arrived. He immediately claimed car was not avail. I showed him where it was.. Turns out, it apparently was in an accident- the entire rear bumper was on the ground. No ETA on fix. The VIN search on Edmund.com showed the car avail & had passed Mercedes Bellevue quality check. Rep just needed to be honest in the vmail he left me or apologetic when I arrived. He was arguing with someone whip was ready to give him money. Dealership building smelled like smoke. Their big display was not working. Staff seemed unorganized

Very unorganized

By Rahul Ghai on 1/17/2018 at 3:56 AM. Helped by Amin G.

One of the most unorganized dealerships I've been to. Ever. I confirmed an appointment for Monday but when I got there the salesperson had left for the day. The person who helped us told us he couldn't access the keys since the technician had locked them away! I scheduled an appointment for the next day and got confirmation. I show up again the next day and they make us wait for 30 minutes trying to look for the keys again. 30 minutes later the salesperson comes up to us and says that they've sent the car away somewhere else! What a monumental waste of our time! Very inconsiderate staff.

A Job Well Done!

By Jeff on 10/16/2017 at 6:02 PM. Helped by Rafael Burruel.

I recently had my R350 BlueTEC in for service and Rafael did a great job explaining what the car did and didn't need. They serviced the car and called me before they made any additional repairs. They finished the car in a timely manner and called or sent a text to inform me of the progress throughout the day. When I picked up my car, Rafael went through the repair order, explained everything that was completed and what I might consider repairing on my next visit. The car was cleaned inside and out and I left a happy customer. Fast, fair and friendly service. What more can you ask for!

Dishonored Verbal Agreement

By K1234 on 6/23/2017 at 1:44 AM. Helped by Chris Santiago.

I test drove a preowned Mercedes SL550 and commented on the hydraulic switch not working. I told they have a 10 point inspection and it would be fixed. Took them at their word and my fault for not getting out on writing as the word means nothing. Repair cost 1800.00 (they said they would cover parts cost 500.00). My mechanic will do it for 1200.00. Buyer beware. Hope this helps others to make a decision on where not to go. Very disappointed.

Underwhelming across the board

By ducati98056@yahoo.com on 4/14/2017 at 3:04 AM. Helped by Two different sales people.

My fiancé and I leased a new CLA250 from this dealership. Our initial experience during the test drive and commitment to lease was good (the car was in California so we had to come back for the delivery), the good ended there. Delivery of the vehicle was late and much longer than we were told. While we were given great follow up from our sales rep, the different stages (something to the effect of the car is marked priority, "hot", etc) were meaningless and what I now perceive was an attempt to keep the customer thinking that things are happening when they are really not. Our delivery was late and upon pick up, I had to re-do all of the paperwork I had thought I was saving time filling out at our initial visit. Additionally, the 4-5 hour detail the sales rep went on about was very poor and the car had what I presume is LA smog dust all over the interior - presumably from baking in the hot sun with the windows open. I could go on about the mediocrity of this dealership however it isn't necessary as I can sum the entire experience up in one word - underwhelming. For a dealership that is selling luxury cars (which mind you includes the customer experience), I have had better experiences at the Ford dealership. Step it up.

Great deal

By Dara123 on 4/7/2017 at 2:27 AM. Helped by Andrew Eftekhari.

I got my 2017 C class coupe and the deal was great. Andrew was my sale person and he was friendly and great to have a deal with. Recommended with a great price. I've went to Seattle dealer and the sale person wasn't so good he was kind of rude and gave out a lot of lies. So fully recommended to have great deal here.

A litany of errors

By JaimeP on 1/24/2017 at 1:58 AM. Helped by X.

This is the ongoing list of reasons why I would NOT recommend MB Bellevue. We purchased a pre-owned (supposedly) certified GL550. -The car had been reserved by someone else. Even though two salespeople knew we were interested in this vehicle (or vehicles with similar specs) we were not contacted when it became available again. I found out through an online search. -We were told MB Bellevue uses 1price so there is no negotiation and every potential customer is given the same price for the vehicle. Yet when this one came back on the market it was listed as several thousand dollars less than price previously quoted. -When we went to see and test drive the car it had not been cleaned or detailed even though it had been on the lot for several days. -The service records showed that the back brake pads needed replacing but the inspection report had not picked this up. When we pointed this out, MB Bellevue reinspected the pads and replaced them. We left the car at the dealership for 3 days for everything to be addressed properly. When we picked the car up it had not been filled with gas and after we took it home and drove it we found out that: -One of the back seat heaters would turn itself off and sometimes wouldn't come on -The nightview assist didn't work -MBrace had not been reprovisioned -There was a cut in the leather on the center console that we had pointed out and were told would be fixed. It was not. -The adjustable steering was not working correctly We took the car back for these things to be fixed. It's not clear why they weren't fixed BEFORE the car was sold. My husband noticed vibration in the steering wheel when driving at freeway speeds. All the tired were brand new when we picked up the car and when my husband called about the vibration, MB Bellevue said they suspect it's because the wheel had not been balanced. My husband made an appointment to take it in this morning and when he arrived there was no loaner car available. He was told our car would be ready for pick up at 4:00pm today. He received a call at around 3:55pm saying that it was not ready with no reason given for the delay. Even though he spoke to the Service Manager when he dropped the car off this morning, MB Bellevue still continues to disappoint. They're supposed to call once this latest issue has been fixed. Based on all of this, I would strongly advise going to another MB dealership for purchasing and servicing.

I would not recommend this dealer.

fantastic purchase experience

By Shwright on 1/7/2017 at 8:45 PM. Helped by Spencer, Tae and Mike.

I was very happy with Spencer as a sales person. Felt really human, he listened and did whatever he could to address my needs. I hit maybe 6 other dealerships and met 6 different people, he was the only one that made me feel like he was there for me. Customer service is king and Spencer gets that. Once we decided on the GLS450, I worked with Tae on the price, this was easy and felt honest. Mike in Finance was the closer and did so as expected. I am very happy with my experience with MBB. One other thing: my wife missed the vehicle orientation because of illness, Spencer came to my house to run through the vehicle orientation a second time! Class act

Lisa (GM) resolved my issue for me.

By Davidw1972 on 7/5/2016 at 4:58 PM. Helped by Anthony, Connie, Tae (sp) Lisa.

I had an issue after the sale, it was a known condition that they thought was fixed but wasn't fixed completely. Initially the sales rep was informed that it was "As-Is" but after speaking to Lisa who is the GM she agreed that it should be taken care of. Lisa overnighted me a check for my repair cost that I had incurred. Anthony was my sales rep & I enjoyed dealing with him. Lisa was nice to deal with after she found out my issue.

LIED TO NUMEROUS TIMES!!! TIME WASTED! GIVEN FALSE INFORMATI

By Ablake84 on 5/20/2015 at 1:44 AM. Helped by Pam, Danny, Dennis.

Working with this dealership has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! My fiancé and I came into the dealership to look at a 2007 Yukon Denali. After test driving the truck we made an appointment with Pam to come and talk numbers. We waited over 30 minutes for her. We waited past our appointment time. We made a second appointment to take the truck to GMC and get an inspection. Showing up to the dealership, I had to wait for an hour for Pam. She was over 45 minutes late to our second appointment. She caused me to be late getting the truck to GMC. She wasted my time and the service center's time at GMC. Upon getting the vehicle inspected it was found that there were some things wrong with it. A bare minimum of $1,500 worth of work, to around 3k. I needed to discuss the inspection with my fiancé before making a decision (my fiancé who works Monday through Friday and is unavailable until after 5:00PM). Upon returning to the Mercedes Benz of Bellevue Pam approached me pressuring me to make a decision (without talking to my fiancé first). Then a second sales associate approached me stating that 3 people were interested in the car (after it had sat on their lot for two months literally untouched by a single person). Danny, the manager, then approached me and VERY aggressively stated he had 4 or 5 people who wanted the car and they absolutely would buy it today so I HAD to make a decision (again without speaking to my fiancé). Danny was so incredibly aggressive I would not have given him my business even if I had mounds cash falling out of my pockets. He was miserable to work with! The 3 sales associates were pushy and down right dishonest. Still, I left the dealership with plans to speak to my fiancé about the car that night and before I was able to do so I received a text from Pam stating the truck sold. We had offered them the title to my SUV, as collateral to hold the Yukon. They denied our offer. Two weeks go by and my fiancé and I get an email from Pam stating the dealership had gotten in another 2007 Yukon Denali. Same color, similar milage and specs, same price. We asked if it was the same vehicle and if it was not the same truck if we could get the VIN number on it. Pam replied assuring us that it was not the same truck and provided us with a VIN number that was in fact different than the first Yukon. She emailed us throughout the week letting us know that the truck was in reconditioning and she would confirm on Friday if it was ready for a test drive. We made a tentative appointment to come in on Friday, in which she told us she would be busy but that Scott would be available to help us. Late Friday afternoon we received an email from Pam confirming we could come in for the test drive. When we arrived on Friday, Scott was gone. Pam had not even checked the schedule as Scott did not even work that day. I was already feeling jerked around by the dealership due to our previous interactions and this definitely did not make matters any better. Pam found someone else to help us, Dennis. Dennis came over and more confusion began! Pam had given us the specs of the SOLD Yukon, with the VIN number of the NEW Yukon. She also lied as it was NOT a 2007, it was a 2009. She told us the cost was $17,994 and it in fact was $27,991. My fiancé still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt said "Okay, its fine, lets just go ahead and test drive the truck to see if we even like it". Dennis, then informed us that, that was not even a possibility because the Yukon was not out of the service center!!! That the truck was still going through reconditioning!!! I drove down from Bothell during rush hour traffic, to downtown Seattle to pick up my fiancé, then to Bellevue JUST to test drive the Yukon specifically because Pam had confirmed that day that the truck was ready for a test drive. Dennis who kept apologizing profusely over and over for the entire situation, said he would talk to Danny as well as Pam about what had occurred. Dennis also informed us that he would contact us when the car was ready to take out for a drive. 5 DAYS LATER we have not heard a single word! The truck now?..... LISTED up for sale on their website, available to be reserved for a test drive. REALLY?! and NO call letting us know. We did not receive an apology from Pam, we did not receive an apology from Danny. We did not receive a phone call or an email, or anything! They wasted our time, they jerked us around and they didn't even have the decency to try and fix the situation to win our business back. I cannot stress this enough, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

By neveragain-barrier on 1/22/2012 at 6:56 AM. Helped by Brian Panariello, Customer Service.

The purchasing experience was expected--multiple visits, calls, emails, during the time the salesperson was obviously disappointed we changed our minds from a new car to a CPO purchase. The pricing was fair for the product, and the entire check-out process was actually pleasant enough for me to say OK. It was the post-sales work that has been horrible. It has been 2 months since we purchased the vehicle, the temporary plates have expired, I have not heard from the sales person NOR his manager in over a month. Even worse, the promised mBrace trial cannot be used since the vehicle (even though CPO by this dealership) was never programmed properly for mBrace to begin with!! Our service appointments are 'paid' for with Barrier; however, once that period is over you can be sure we will NOT be returning to Barrier Mercedes Benz. They have lost our trust BIG TIME. DO NOT BE LURED BY THEIR PRETTY SHOW ROOM OR SERVICE BAYS. THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT HELP YOU AFTER YOU SIGN. We regret purchasing our vehicle (although the vehicle thus far has been awesome) from this dealership and from our sales rep, Brian.

I leased an R350 from this dealer. When the lease is up, I was looking to get another R or Gl. They were prices they were giving me were over the top. Even when I explained to them that it amounts to APR of more than 25%, they didn't seem to take they had one lady in particular (sales manager) that kept harassing the sales guy working with me, and not giving him any numbers he can work with. He had been there for 2 months and told all customers were complaining about their over the top pricing.
