Honest and Friendly

Just want to thank the team at Mercedes El Cajon for hooking me up with my dream GLE! Rob, and pillar helped me pick out the car I wanted. I told them the options and colors I wanted and they were able to track the car down and have the car for me at the dealership the next morning (I care in at 7 pm the night prior so this was very impressive). I love my car and I got it for an amazing price. Not only is my sales experience great but I come in often because they wash my car for free and everyone is so friendly and greets buy by name! Makes you really feel appreciated, love the fact that it’s a family business!

Fantastic experience

Started at Mercedes Benz of San Diego. Figured they'd be best as a Penske dealership. I.was.mistaken. They ignored me when I showed up, when I asked a salesman for help, he said he was busy. So I tried MB El Cajon, they greeted me with a smile right when I walked in the door. The vibe was positive, and store is awesome, so impressed for El Cajon! I bought a GLE from them and it was a breeze every step of the way. Thanks to Bryce and Rob for making this so easy, Mercedes El Cajon is the place to go!

Omission of facts

After a long wait I had finally settled on a deal with them. In the moment of signing papers the finance director rushed through the paperwork and did not say that I had to pay 2k of downpayment with them. She said you deal that with your bank. So I did as I was told, after a week of having my new car she calls and threatens that I owe 2k after I had told her that I gave that money to my bank and 2 checks were made that totaled the total cost of the car. After her and the manager threatened to send me to collections and gave me the ultimatum to pay or return the car, I returned the car and canceled the contract. Throughout all this, the finance director was very unprofessional and rude, perhaps because I was young and buying a Mercedes she didn’t think I could afford. I am very unsatified with the classism and rudeness I received at this dealership from these people.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Dangerously inept

Went in to check low tire and they sent me on my way saying it was repaired. Oh! They forgot to take the NAIL out. Unconscionable and unacceptable. It led to a fiasco of repairs on my brand new car and lost transportation. Be warned.

Stress-free, professional sales experience

One of the best car buying experiences I have had to date. I've been in the market for a new MB since Thanksgiving. After deciding on a specific model and color (black GLC43 coupe), I contacted at least 8 MB dealerships within a 500 radius from me (S.F.). Some did not reply and the ones that did respond, did not reflect the MB brand. I had a fantastic experience with my salesman, Ray Cordero and the lovely Olivia Alvarado in the financing department. I contacted Ray via email initially and after going back and forth a few days, we penciled out a deal that was equal if not better then the discount offered by any other MB dealer I was previously in contact. Being in sales myself, I know what it's like to be on the other end of the transaction. I was not the easiest customer to deal with but they remained patient with me from start to finish. They were the most professional individuals I came across and made the car purchasing/leasing experience a breeze. I drove down nearly 500 miles from the Bay Area to exchange my 2015 lease, signed a few documents and was out the door with my shiny new car, freshly detailed and with a full tank to get me back home. No games, no BS, no upselling.

Honest and Transparent

As a Sales Professional, I understand that the bottom line is the bottom line! I am also familiar with the old adage "it's not personal...it's business!" That said, I whole-heartedly disagree with the above sentiment because business does not exist without (which makes it personal). While I did not purchase from this Dealer, the Sales Professional Eleyna Bedolla and General Manager Rob O'Reilly made the process seamless, transparent and refreshingly honest! If you are not just looking for a vehicle AND you value someone that has a Customer First philosophy, provides you with honest upfront pricing (his price was $2000 lower that I expected and I told him as much) and honors his commitments...do yourself a favor and reach out to Rob O'Reilly and his wonderful staff at El Cajon Mercedes! I will happily let everyone looking for a vehicle to consider your Dealership and you in particular Mr O'Reilly. Regards, James

Not trustworthy

I called them asking about a car and their manager agreed on a price but when I went over there after almost 100 miles of drive, their other manager said we cannot give the same price as last price was in last of the month and I cannot do anything now. If you want the car I can give you on marked price , otherwise its your wish. Which dealer in the world is so unprofessional. I'll say save some time and go to dealer who is atleast a little professional, after all you are paying him money and he isn't doing any favor
