I get an SUV and a convertible serviced here, and bought on of the cars from them. Service is professional and timely, but very expensive. PROVIDING LOANERS MITIGATES SOME OF THE PAIN.

Poor effort to service customer.

A couple of weeks ago Roberta Huntington had a service appointment and asked that she be called when service was completed. You did not call and she only found out that the car was ready in the late afternoon when she called in. Your lack of communicating put her seriously behind schedule and into heavy traffic on 68. She had told service that the key was malfunctioning and had locked her out of the car a couple of times causing great inconvenience. Nothing was done to remedy the situation and yesterday she was again locked out with the key in her purse in the back seat. This greatly inconvenienced her and doesn't seem like something one should suffer with a $110,000 car. She has been trying to communicate with service manager but he is not good about calling. In the past when trying to communicate the problem Cleat would not return calls. Please advise.

Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!

My husband and I leased a 2015 ML400 from Mercedes-Benz of Monterey and we couldn’t be happier! We have never owned a Mercedes before and the experience was unbelievable. The salesperson, Deborah Shaker was so sweet and easy to work with and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Everyone at the dealership was so friendly and accommodating from sales to management to finance. I have never had the purchase of a vehicle go so smoothly. And to top it off I got the car one week before my birthday and they had a big red bow on it and handed me a bouquet of gorgeous flowers!! I will definitely be buying another Mercedes from Mercedes-Benz of Monterey!!

I could have never imagined purchasing a Mercedes-Benz until I did on Saturday June 28, 2014. Pat Yates, Paul Mattingly, and Shawn Ford done a wonderful job in finalizing everything where I didn't have any mixed negative feelings. They were organized and professional at all levels. My Certified Pre-Owned 2008 Mercedes-Benz E350 was well detailed and ready to be driven home with a full tank of gas. For a dealer that has been in business very long time, it appears to be that Stahl Motor Company is doing something right for their customers like me. Thank you everyone at Stahl Motor Co-Monterey Mercedes for keeping me satisfied and look forward in doing more business.

After seeing online what we thought would be the perfect used car for our daughter, we contacted the dealership to obtain details. Steve Wright, who responded to our initial inquiry, provided exceptional service throughout the process. He initially let us know there was a rattle in the trunk of the car, and then called us again to inform us that it had been repaired prior to our arriving at the dealership. Once at the dealership we were treated wonderfully by a group of trustworthy, down-to-earth individuals, including Steve, who worked hard to earn our business. They listened to our questions, provided us with informative answers, and offered us a fair price for the car. Once we decided to proceed with the purchase, we were introduced to Paul Mattingly in finance. He did an exceptional job of scrambling to obtain the exact financing terms we wanted from a specific credit union late on a Saturday afternoon. Looking back now, we can't believe we drove four hours to view a vehicle we initially saw online, but we can say that this dealership was definitely worth the drive!

I have had an awesome experience with Mercedes @Monterey. I was looking for a CPO C63 AMG which is not common; Steve was extremely helpful over the phone, and even better when I went down for the test drive. Paul the Finance Manager took time to go over all options with me. Will definitely buy from them again.

I can't say anything bad about these guys. They gave me a great value on my trade-in and made my second Mercedes Benz buying experience both delightful and easy. The knowledge and courtesy you will get from the sales staff goes beyond the sale, I left there driving a car that I love and feeling like I'd just made freinds. I'd buy there again and I will recommend Mercedes Benz of Monterey (Stahl Motor Company) to everyone I know looking for a luxury car.

I first contacted the dealer over the phone and they were very helpful. They went out inspected a car for me and priced the car over the phone, the price was better than anticipated. Drove 3 hours to dealer and when I got there the car was washed, gased and ready to drive and paperwork was being finished. Overall is was a very good experience.

Never a Mercedes buyer before;however,purchased one after working with Gabriella. She was informative,helpful and yet not high pressure when working with me. I initially was looking for a pre-owned car; however, found a new fuel efficient model could be purchased for about the same price. Test drives were done and vehicle features pointed out. After my decision to buy, Gabriella completed the paperwork qickly and with a minimum of stress. I purchased several car accessories through the parts department with Sal handling the purchases. He was quick and thorough when taking my order then followed up with a phone call to let me know the accessories were in. He was very helpful,polite and nice to deal with. An overall positive experience.

Paul is the finance manager who went over the contracts, warranty options, and all the paperwork with us. When Paul presented warranty options, he was clear and effective; we didn't feel being pressured to buy. Typically this the part of car buying process that I hate the most when the person pushes us to buy options. We didn't feel that at all from Paul. He kept the whole process professional and friendly. We were able to make an informative decision to buy a tire protection plan with Paul's help, not based on pressure.

These guys are a class act all the way. I can't ever recall a more pleasant or no pressure vehicle sales transaction. It was well worth my time and effort to visit Mercedes-Benz of Monterey. All details of the transaction including vehicle purchase price and vehicle trade-in value were handled very quickly over the internet and by email. It was a pleasure in purchasing my new C63 AMG from Mercedes-Benz of Monterey. I drove from Los Angeles to close the deal and I couldn't be happier! Carl Haynes, Sean Ford, Steve Rothstein and the rest of the Stahl Motor Co. team were very straight forward and very professional. It was a pleasure doing business with this dealership. I have many, many Mercedes-Benz authorized dealerships to choose from here in the Southern California area, but this company stands out above the rest and is exceptional by far. I would definitely give Stahl Motor Co. my business again in the near future when it's time to upgrade to a shiny new Mercedes-Benz AMG. Gabriella and Paul did a great job helping me purchase a specially ordered ML350. After arriving at the dealership they had my vehicle ready and the entire process was smooth. They fully explained my financing the vehicle features and even gave me flowers for my wife. Stahl Motors was very helpful from the get-go. Gabriella helped me fill out my credit application over the phone. When I got to the dealership I wasn't sure if I was going to drive away with a new car. Ryan Dunigan went above and beyond to help me out. He took me on a great test drive, and pointed out all the cool features of the car. He seemed excited for me! Ryan helped me empty out my car into the new one. The wait time to get my paper work processed took a bit longer than I expected, but Paul kept me up to date on what was going on. They didn't just leave me sitting in the lobby. Paul explained all the paperwork in laymen's terms for me. I understood everything and felt like I was able to make informed decisions regarding extended warranty, etc. All in all, I feel I walked away with a pretty good deal and was able to work with amazing staff members in the process.

I recently bought a new C63 AMG from Mercedes Benz of Monterey. This was by far the least stressful car buying experiences I have ever had. Doug DiTullio and Paul Mattingly made it almost too easy to buy such a great car! They are thorough gentlemen and a pleasure to work with. I traveled all the way from Irvine to Monterey to buy my car, and I will do it again in the future based on the wonderful buying expeirence I had! Mercedes Benz of Monterey is small boutique dealership unlike most of the mega dealerships we have in this part of California. From the moment I stepped in, to the moment I left with my beautiful car, I was made to feel at ease. I was treated with respect throughout the negotiation process, and I felt Doug was working for me, even though he is a dealership employee. Paul Mattingly in the finance department is so enthusiastic and uplifting! He thoroughly explained everything and made it very easy for me to pay for the car in the form that worked for me the best. The whole experience didn't feel anything like the typical car buying experience! I highly recommend Mercedes Benz of Monterey, Doug DiTullio and Paul Mattingly!

No pressure period. Wealth of information with a personal touch. Don respected my interests in what I wanted and took genuine concern with things going on in my life, as related reasons given to timetable of purchasing. Paul, during the financing stage was informative to options available and NEVER asked "are you sure?" when I declined an option. He made, what is usually the stressful part, relaxing. Ken, in service, gives you the attention you need and the information to keep you at ease. These people are what you want and need in a dealership.
