Un-necessary work quoted

I brought my 2018 SL450 to have the front distronic star replaced due to a slight crack in the outer rim. The quote was approximately $200 for the part and $500 for labor including removal and replacement of the bumper. Not happy with the amount, I took the vehicle to Mercedes Benz of Delray Beach for the same issue. Their quote was approximately $250 for the part and installed it while I waited at no charge (and couldn’t have been nicer!) BEWARE... not all dealers are created equal!!!

Melissa Leonard and Bob Antonelli at MB of Palm Beach were honestly life-savers! I was traveling for work and needed emergency attention to my E350. Melissa was responsive, thorough, and accurate with the assessment. She worked within a very tight timeline and provided me with everything I needed to continue with my work trip without skipping a beat. Bob assisted me when I picked up my vehicle and the level of customer service he provided was unparalleled. to begin by saying all my cars are mercedes love everything about them .my 2011 c63 had a brake module problem which my mercedes mechanic could not do because it had to be programmed (dealer).took the car to mercedes of palm beach left it there for 4 days for a one day fix got the car late friday evening after calling day after day to see the progress story was they shipped the part and it hasnt arrived 4days shipper from within USA ,ok i went with that story got the car $2255.76 later was told my wheels need balancing my rotors are wearing etc not a problem when i took the car in .on driving the car home the brakes was pulsating steering was uncontrollably,called my service writer and complained kept on getting the same answer they know nothing about that (really frustrating) i took the blow but would not ever take my cars to them ever

differnt estimates that conflict, horrible customer service

I truly feel they don't want my business, they fixed my car 6500 miles ago for $500 now I have the same prob and its $2800 all of a sudden, 5 month later?!?! but they said they'll be kind to me and do it for $1600... Bobs a good guy but this isn't how you attract or even keep customers. Mercedes of Del Ray is the place to go and be treated fairly.

As i harshly reviewed my detailed job to my car, and rightly so i must honestly say because it was not good a couple of weeks ago, i did not expect to get a response to my review but Mercedes benz did. After speaking with Bob Antonelli, who listened to my complaints - offered to redo the detailed job, and YES!!!! it was outstanding, plus they added some surprise extras. I am deeply grateful to have been heard, taken seriously and to the outstanding work on my car! I'm in love with Mr Bob Antonelli and mercedes benz of palm beach ;) MY CAR LOOKS FKNG AWESOME! drove forever with the top down and half naked (tanning) lol... Of course i will be back for future services and so should you.

They lost some of my car pièces, my car got out of dealership dirty, they spilled something. After maintenance I had two troubles that I hade never had before, my vehicule is almost new. Customer service is really not what you expect from mercedes, do not go There, I wrote and spoke to them but nothing was done, my car is worst far worst after my maintenance and reparations, they charged me for all of this. Bad bad bad.......

How to Have a Happy Experience Getting a new Car

It is essential you find a dealer that appreciates you and your business. You"re just not another meal ticket at Mercedes Benz of Palm Beach, by far the best dealership in South Florida. The sales manager Bob Antonelli who was available by cell phone after hours actually invited us into the showroom on his time off to accommodate us. My c300/2010 honey (under 20,000. mile) suffered a ToTal Loss over this past Christmas. Do not lend cars to offspring. Bob's knowledge of the Mercedes product past and present was impeccable and impressive. It was without a doubt the best sales presentation I ever experienced. I opted for a C300/2017. On pick up day, I had additional superb assistance with my salesman, Thomas Pruitt, business manager,Tyler Shagi and Eric Moreno who patiently introduced me to the mechanical and technical aspects of the new car.

RIP OFF!! Mercedes-Benz of Palm Beach....SERVICE DEPARTMENT Service department are unethical in their practices. Beware when you bring your car into this dealership. They come across all caring and concerned, yet 'try' to rip you off. Well now I have proof they are not reputable. I'm thinking about exposing this dealership for the 'butchers' they are, and writing an article about them to warn others about them in the Palm Beach County area, and beyond.

Shortly after moving to Florida, I purchased my second Mercedes from MB of Palm Beach. This dealership is absolutely incredible from top management to the service "greeters". I purchased a new MB from this dealership yesterday following an accident. I can’t thank General Manager Brian Sattar and all of his “crew” enough for helping me through my “disaster”. Each of you made things so much easier for me in every way by going beyond the call of duty to help with every detail… Everything was done perfectly and efficiently and in a very personalized manner. I should also mention that I am most pleased, as well, with the Service Department, namely Brendan Saunders, John Nelson and Manager, RonYanni. All of my experience has been top notch and I highly recommend this highly organized and well managed dealership to anyone who wants a first class experience ! MB of Palm Beach is absolutely the finest dealership ever and it’s certainly a reflection of Brian's “hands on” management style and the caliber of the people employed.

I am now on my 9th new car from Mercedes Benz of Palm Beach. The new car sales manager, Bob Antonelli, is a no nonsense guy who always treats me fairly, with great respect and professionalism. Their deals cannot be matched. Amazing! Awesome! Inspiring!

We bought a 2016 smart car from this dealership yesterday and I can tell you the experience was beyond 5 star. From the first time I called them to when I pulled out of the driveway with my new car, the team there was there for me. Bob Antonelli is the manager there and he is just fantastic. He is on it and how! I had several several questions for him about my lease return, about the new smarts, about a preowned car they had on the lot etc etc etc...and he answered all of them within minutes. Not once did he rush me. He was very patient and explained everything to me very well. I am very impressed to say the least. He really cared about his customers and takes a lot of pride in doing what he does. Laurie was my sales consultant and she was a pleasure to work with. She is very attentive and stood by my side the entire time. Very professional and knowledgeable as well. Daniel in the business office did a great job as well. He was very detailed with everything, triple checked all the paper work and made me feel very comfortable. Cheers to this amazing team! Just picked up my car from SERVICE...OMG Incompetent!!!!!!!!

Incompetent is putting it mildly....Below is a conversation after my car was fixed to the tune of $1,475.35 today ME: This is the first time there was ANY mention to me that the 'pulley' was cracked...You told me there were two other 'possible' repairs that may be needed other than the belt being replaced. You said the Fan and the pulley may need replacing. Indeed the fan needed to be replaced....you NEVER said the pulley was cracked until all the repairs were made and I came in to pay the bill!! Let me ask you firstly, for a $75 pulley why on earth didn't you tell me it was cracked, and secondly do you think after paying you over $1,400 a lousy $75 was going to make a difference to me! Outraged at this!!! You should have replaced the pulley!!! MERCEDES: It was determined that pulley was ok to reinstall. If you would like it to be replaced, we will do it for the cost of the part only. ME: You should all be ashamed of yourself at your dealership! Your inability to relay pertinent information regarding the repairs to my car are inexcusable! Any competent mechanic would say 'REPLACE' the pulley in light of the belt and fan being replaced, and more so because it's a pathetically small sum for the part ($75). Up until now your prior determinations between you Einstein's there had me THE CUSTOMER informed on what needs repairing and what potentially needs repairing....this time 'someone' decided heck with it its cracked but fine 'FOR NOW'...not only is that irresponsible, it's dangerous, and you know it's going to break soon anyway! Disgusting! And please refrain from calling me 'family' my family don't treat me this way!!!! ...yes they call you family...the NERVE!!...for a measly $75 'they' determined after all that work not to replace the pulley...why? because they want you back in a month or so when it breaks (dangerous BTW) and rip you off again for the labor, etc. You see, the bottom line is this...THEY DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER!!!

This review is based on how I was treated from the start to finish! The GM Brian and my Client Advisor Fred Fischer were outstanding! I was in a Mercedes Lease and coming down to the last few months and a call / email to both and they were all about taking care of me! Brian the GM was very responsive with my emails, questions and even answered all of my concerns and assured me he will make it work! Fred was a true Champion! Took me around, worked with me and took extra steps to ensure I was happy! I will ALWAYS go here! They made me a customer for LIFE!!
