Bad communication and abuse of time

I brought my car to Toyota Miller of Anaheim on Monday May 20th for my 70,000 mile check up. I was told it would take an hour, and when I agreed to the services since I had an hour before I need to go to work, they backtracked and said they didn’t want to rush the job. How was it rushing if you tell me it’s an hour and I have an hour? Nevertheless, I made an appointment for the following day at 4:30 PM. When I arrive to my appointment and then told my services would take an hour and a half. An appointment is supposed to ensure I get the fastest possible service, that’s why I waited. This was the first abuse of my time. The person in charge of my car, Raul Coronado, told me I would be put on priority so would get my car done fast. An hour later at 5:30 I get a text saying I needed to review paperwork and answer any questions to complete my service. I do so, checking off the box that says replace my windshield wipers for a fee. 15 minutes later Raul comes in to ask me if I’ve read the report and agree to the changes, to which I had replied I already did that 15 minutes earlier. That tells me he didn’t even bother to read the report I submitted. That wad the second of use of my time. 30 minutes after that at 6:00 I go to Raul myself to tell him I need to leave. I did not structure my day to accommodate two hour repairs for my car, and clearly I wasn’t priority. My car pulls up, only for the driver to tell him they have to REMOVE my new wipers because they’re incorrect?? WHY did they even put them on in the first place without checking?? A whole half hour wasted for nothing. That was the third abuse of my time. To top it all off, no apologies, no discounts or anything for such poor service, and the drivers of my car did not put now plastic or paper to protect my seat, footwell or steering wheel. There was dirt and grease that come off on my hands and clothed when I got it. This was a bad trip, and I’m debating contacting BBB or changing Toyota dealerships altogether. To anyone looking for service here, ensure you’re taken care off ASAP when you have an appointment, that’s what it’s for. And take photos before and after service to see if your car was mistreated. I know I will.

Stole stuff from truck while in service!

Items from my truck were stolen during oil change including expensive sunglasses that were in the globe compartment. When I informed my service advisor Bill Krizan, he stayed he would speak to somebody about this and will get back to me. It has been over 2 weeks and I still have not heard back.

Poor Customer Service

The communication and customer service was very poor and almost insulting. I've purchased four cars from this dealership. My daughter has a 2016 Scion IA that had an Engine light that went out and Toyota covered. She took the car in on Monday 4-8-19 10:55am and coordinated the work with the service advisor. An email was sent later that the car would be ready at 1:30pm. My daughter called and was told there was a problem they were unsure of and needed the car overnight. On Tuesday we didn't hear from the advisor, I called again and found he was off for the day and another advisor filled in to inform us the car wasn't ready. On Wednesday advisor called my daughter and said they would need for the car till Friday, they did provide a rental car. My daughter worked on Friday and didn't receive a call. I called later in the afternoon for her and asked the desk that he call me, he was with a customer. No one called. On Sunday I went to Toyota and expressed my frustrations to the lead advisor and he promised a phone call with information from our advisor on Monday. Never heard from him. Again I called and spoke to the front desk (he was unavailable) and asked that he call me back. Never heard from him. After a week of no updates, my wife called yesterday 4/22 and checked in and expressed frustration, no help and shortly after my daughter got a call from advisor that here car was ready. Advisor was rude and condescending, didn't review the work or problem just asked her to sign and sent her on her way. No one could ever tell us what was wrong with the car. I understand they sometimes have to drive the car to test. This car was driven 216 miles. They had the car for 14 days and it was filthy inside and out. Inside cause windows must have been left open... Also, Muddy DOG paw prints inside the car? My wife complained about the dirty car and advisor said they do not wash cars anymore. Well then don't take liberties and bring a dog in the car... why bring a DOG into a customers car?

THEY STEEL FROM YOUR CAR DURING SERVICE!!

I went to get my oil change done. They didn’t do it. They only rotated my wheels, which are custom and I didn’t give permission for that. They stole the lock, matraca and master key from my car. I went to claim it and they said they have a master key for those wheels and their man did not touch the tools in my car, previous times they have always asked me to the lock of the wheels because they are custom. They have the worse customer and trustworthy service ever! DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! They should close down the place, they are thefts!

Great Toyota but they forgot to service my car for 4 hours!

Had a 10 am appointment and Tommy Battelle, service advisor, said it would take 2 hours for oil change and checks. I stayed and waited. More than 2 hours later I asked Tommy for updates and he said he would go check. Everyone who came after I arrived got their cars back by this time. After more than 20 minutes of waiting, I went to the back area and saw him talking to another customer. I asked him again for updates and he said he was gonna “go” check now. Turns out they forgot to service the car and It was just there UNTOUCHED. I looked for a supervisor. The supervisor apologized for the delay and promised to facilitate the service and to just do a fulltank to make up for it (i had more than half of gas in it beforehand). I arrived 9:30am for the 10am appointment and got the car at 2:30pm! Because of the rush, I got my car back half cleaned only. I still believe in Toyota’s otherwise good service but Toyota needs to set up a better system in ensuring that cars lined up for service ARE NOT LEFT FORGOTTEN despite a busy setting, and to have a policy for re-training negligent staff like Tommy.

DO NOT GO HERE - NOT TRUSTWORTHY

I am not looking for a call back, but felt it was necessary to vent out my opinion about the service received. Since I know your service department will not accept any blame, I will simply be exercising my right to inform the public about my recent experience and to think twice before visiting or getting similar service done. The below description is what I will be sharing: DO NOT GO HERE. I went in for free Extended Warranty service on engine, and left with a $1000 quote for damage they likely caused. They are not trustworthy, and only offer that "customer service" smile in greeting incoming business with potential for more repairs/quotes. Brought in my Toyota Rav-4 for extended warranty service (Oil Consumption problem) that required service (covered by Toyota) on the Engine (lifting it, etc). Prior to turning it over for 4 days, car was running smoothly (no noise) and simply did not pass Toyota oil consumption test. I pick up the car 4 days later, and the engine is clearly vibrating more than before, and revving a bit louder. I tell the service guy (Youbert) this problem, and he recommends giving it a couple days since I may have got accustomed to a new rental car. I do that, and it still makes noise. He suggests to bring it for a look because every once in a while its the drive shaft balancer he says. They take it for 2 1/2 days, and Manager tells me passed all inspections no problems. Pick it, still same vibration. 2 days later vibration when driving at 0-30 miles, and now I pick up a clear noise at times when switching to reverse and drive. Turn it in after 5 days. Now they tell me that the Engine mounts has coincidentally worn down requiring replacement. They of course accept no blame, as if there may not be a relationship to the added stress they may have placed on the mounts after lifting it (and reinstalling it) TWO times over a 6 day period. I recommend that if you have to take your Toyota for engine problems and/or service (Toyota mandated), make sure Service department assesses the condition of the mounts BEFORE service and after service so that they don't shift the blame on natural wear and tear. No doubt my mounts were not new, but I am certain the service they executed caused the ultimate damage here for which they are quoting me $1000 to repair.

I buy used car month ago n my front tire shaking I look n there one bolt missing n after l look front bumper there is inside cover broken n I take my car back n I talk with manager he said no warranty he said u broke how could one month I broke n he talk so rud he said u r respncble n I tell them I m complain main compony he said who care n I tell them I m tell other people don’t go there he said go ahead.but I m telling other people don’t buy miller Toyota Anaheim so bad device.

Faux Toyota Prius FOUR

Disappointed, We were going to buy a 2015 Toyota Prius (FOUR) as per their advertisement, We wrote the check for the amount when I decided to take a look at the car we were about to buy, it was 2015, it was Certified but it was a Prius (THREE). The manager did not apologized, the only who apologized was Jaime the sales person who I know did not have any involment. Conclusion, big name dealers are now using some cheap scavenging tricks to scam customers, really sad, now we cannot trust big dealers either like in the past. Cargurus trusting what they advertised categorized it as a GREAT DEAL, Buyers Beware...

First time service and satisfied

It was my first time going to that dealer to have the maintenance service performed to my car and all I am pretty satisfied because make the appointment online was easy, I was assigned to the service advisor Tommy B and he was pretty friendly, knowlegeable, explained everything I needed to know and he gave me my car back within 90 min. So far satisfied and I think I'll be coming back. I'll keep you posted with updates. Thank you

Long waiting and poor customer service

I made an appointment two days before to have a specific part installed. When I arrived at 9am, Adan said he would call three hours later with an update. I waited 60 minutes for the shuttle service to take me home. Six hours later at 3pm, I finally receive a call from Adan saying if the part was going to arrive from the warehouse it would have arrived by 1:30pm so they will have to hold my car till Monday. He offered a complimentary rental for one day but that one only cover Sunday, the day which they are closed. Since I needed my car, I requested to have the shuttle pick me up so I could have my car and not pay for a rental car on Monday. 80 minutes later, I called Adan to ask if the shuttle service was going to pick me up. Eventually it did. Upon my arrival, I had to pay for the part even though it had not been installed because the cost was so high. When I asked to not pay for it because it wasn’t installed yet, Adan said a manager would have to approve that and they all have left for the day. Adan said he would call on Monday when the part from the warehouse arrived. He never called on Monday. He never called on Tuesday. He finally called on Wednesday leaving a voicemail saying it had arrived. When I called back and left a message, I never heard back until I called right before the service center closed and he said he received my message, he was just too busy to call back. I expect better service for the amount of money I have spent and the inconsiderate waste of my time. This will be the last time I use Miller Toyota of Anaheim.

Usually I like the customer service it works fine, But today but I waited two hours for an oil change, that I had a 1230 appointment. I arrived at 12:18,We did not get the car til 210 I was told to leave the key in the car, and went inside, I found out later that nobody worked on the car because they thought the car was .done because nobody was in the car. We had plans today and ended up canceling our other plans because of the delay. Would have liked a better discount. None was offered. We’re told we got a car wash but would have like to skipped it and gotten out sooner. A very nice man came out and tried his best to remedy the situation, it was the guy who signed my paperwork..

Honest and fair dealership

I’m very happy with my purchase of a 2018 Toyota Highlander. The salesman, Carlos Coreas and the fleet manager, Jesse Martinez were knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy at all. They gave us a good deal and made the process smooth and easy. Even after I purchased the car they were still willing to answer questions and have called several times to make sure everything is going well.
