New car!

We had a super experience purchasing our new Impreza at Mitchell Subaru of Canton CT. Our sales associate, Nick, was very helpful in meeting our financial, practical and aesthetic needs. He didn't pressure us into buying. He listened to our "bucket list" and located a vehicle that satisfied our desires. He also explained our options (buying or leasing) in a way that made sense. He was transparent which was greatly appreciated. We had been trying to do business with this dealership for over 15 years and finally felt comfortable enough to put our faith in them all because of Nick. Thank you for making our experience a great one!

Unhappy

Had an expensive couple of visits at dealership. Advisor forgot to apply discount, didn't make appointment for next visit a couple of days later when she said she would 'take care of me'. I was very happy to deal with Tony A. But had to go over everything again because I wasn't in system - he said he would give us at least a 10% discount Since it was an expensive visit (and free car wash). Unfortunately It seemed that Kacey rewrote the ticket, not sure why and she called me to say more work (money) was needed and she couldn't answer questions sufficiently. She didn't honor The discount Tony A verbally gave me when I worked with him this morning. Not a happy customer and not happy about having Kacey M as advisor for first visit. Thankful for Tony A working there but Kacey M undid what he did. Ratings reflect Ms. Mahon.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Professional, thorough and nice

The service of my Subaru was very done in a reasonable time. The price was quoted before work was done, I used coupons and was pleased to have a reduced amount on my bill at the time of pick up. the car was waiting for me when I arrived. Very friendly and helpful staff

Mitchell transferred my coupon for my totaled Outback to my new which which was very nice. It does take a while for the car to be worked on during the day but the price was worth this inconvenience. The staff is friendly.

Good but could be better

Good basic experience. After sale additions such as paint protection and extended warranty were pushed too hard and I was not pleased by that. I wish they had been more upfront about these items and their cost. Car was used and already had pain protection applied and I was not told that when pushed to buy again. I found this out by accident and got a song and dance in response.

Mitchell sold me an unsafe used car

I'm 70 days outside my purchase date of the car. I was verbally promised the exhaust mid pipe to be repaired. It was not. Now my estimate for repairs is well over $1,000 in parts and labor for a muffler, resonator and front control arm bushings for a car that should not have been sold off the lot in this unsafe condition.

I would not recommend this dealer.

I have been shopping around for an outback and ended out in canton . I live east of the river but didn't get very good vibes from the 2 other subaru dealers in my area . Our salesman was very easy to talk to. Craig thoroughly explained the vehicle in which we were interested. There was a bit of a wait to see our finance person on delivery day, but Craig Christensen stayed with us and is great company.
